The thatched house (approx. 116m²) for 6 persons (+ infant) offers 3 bedrooms. On the ground floor, a large living-dining area with kitchenette and fireplace awaits you. The own sauna, a guest toilet and a utility room complete the space on the ground floor. In the attic there is a large bedroom with seating area. The large bathroom with tub and shower invites you to relax. Two further bedrooms are also located here. On the ground floor, the 15m² terrace with large lawn invites you to barbecue and relax (an electric barbecue is available).
The house has underfloor heating and a utility room with washing machine and dryer. The approx. 1000m² garden offers privacy and enough space for children. Free parking and free wifi.
The use of the indoor swimming pool with children's pool, sauna and steam bath is free of charge.
The standard occupancy of the house is 6 persons (extra beds for 5th and 6th person). An additional infant up to 3 years of age is allowed.

Boarding:
Our kitchen in the restaurant with terrace will take care of your physical well-being. The restaurant, just like the wellness area, was completely modernised in 2019 and impresses with warm interiors and lots of natural wood, individual areas provide peace and quiet and there is a large children's play corner with painting/tinkering table, books and doll's house. The new menu includes fresh salads, sophisticated soups, freshly caught fish, regional meat and homemade pizza. For breakfast, there is a rich selection of fresh products at the buffet.
Own bakery shop with daily fresh and home-baked rolls, bread, cakes, a small selection of groceries, refrigerated products, drinks, drugstore items, newspapers and Rügen products. Two discount markets (Netto + Norma) are each approx. 5 km away from the holiday village and are open all year round, in summer also on Sundays.
Leisure activities / children's activities:
Our guests use the indoor swimming pool with children's pool, waterfall, counter-current system, sauna and steam bath free of charge.
There is an extensive leisure offer in the holiday village with mini golf, bike rental with children's bikes and child seats/children's trailers, running bikes, handcart, new e-bikes, table tennis.
For children we offer three playgrounds, a new play and climbing park with climbing ship, a real football pitch / sports field behind the complex (no disturbance of the peace).
The indoor children's play area can be used all the time, and free childcare is offered here during the summer holidays.
Own animal enclosure guinea pigs and dwarf rabbits in the holiday village. A real attraction for all children

Location and surroundings of object
In contrast to the south, the north of Rügen is largely untouched. Dune and Bodden landscapes alternate, there are numerous inlets and bays, and many protected animal species are at home here.
Dranske is located about 5 km southwest of Bakenberg and was first mentioned in a document in 1314. Like many communities on Rügen, it is a former fishing village. The districts of Banz, Bug, Dranske-Hof, Goos, Gramtitz, Kreptitz, Kuhle, Lancken, Starrvitz and Nonnevitz (Bakenberg) belong to Dranske.
The village itself has only about one inhabitant. In the past, when Dranske was still a naval base for the GDR, the population was just under Unlike in the south of Rügen, the Bodden landscape here is unique, with many spits and bays. You can go fishing, canoeing, boating and windsurfing or kite surfing. On the opposite side, there are kilometres of shallow sandy beaches, especially at the Bakenberg near Nonnevitz.
The area tends to be one of the quieter holiday resorts on the island and is slowly being discovered, with several thatched-roof house projects currently being implemented that blend in very well with the landscape. However, there is no mass development here, as is the case in many places on Rügen. The original charm of the north is therefore preserved. The fact that the area around Dranske - Bakenberg is considered an insider tip is shown by several examples of well-known actors or music producers who have built their holiday homes here. Here you are among yourselves and far away from the mass tourism in the south of the island.
From Dranske, the Hochuferweg runs along the Baltic Sea coast to Cape Arkona, through coastal forest and open spaces.
