Quiet 2-room holiday apartment, 39 sqm, 1st floor without balcony

1 bedroom with box spring bed (180x200cm) and 2 bedside tables, chest of drawers, coat rack, fly screen.
Hallway closet with cleaning utensils and vacuum cleaner. There is also a closet with shelving units in the hallway where you can store your clothes.
Bathroom with window, glass shower, washbasin, mirror, toilet, towel radiator, and hairdryer
Separate kitchen, equipped among other things with with dishwasher, refrigerator, ceramic hob with oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Table with 2 chairs

Location and surroundings of object
Villa Iduna is only about 100 metres from the fine sandy beach. You can reach the promenade on foot. You can stroll along it, past lavishly restored villas in typical seaside resort style, to the pier. It is the second longest on Rügen, after Sellin. A popular photo motif is the Kurhaus with the spa square and bandstand in front of it. In the historic centre of Binz there are numerous cafés, restaurants, bars and small shops. After a day at the beach, it's a great place to stroll in the evening.
The railway station is the start and destination for many German IC/ICE connections. Travelling by train is therefore no problem. It is only about 1,000 metres / 12 minutes' walk to the accommodation. However, there is another railway station in Binz. The "Rasende Roland", a historic narrow-gauge railway, departs from the small railway station. A trip on it is a must during a holiday on Rügen. The Roland train connects Göhren, Baabe, Sellin, the Granitz hunting lodge and Binz with Putbus/Lauterbach Mole (with other stops in between).
If you like cycling, you should take a trip to the Mönchgut peninsula and visit the former fishing villages of Thiessow, Klein Zicker and Gager. A short walk through the Zicker Mountains is also worthwhile. Hikers get their money's worth especially around Sassnitz. If you are good on foot, you should take a tour along the steep coast to the Königsstuhl. There are wonderful photo opportunities along the way (chalk cliffs).
