We have been renting out our two holiday home "siblings" Meeresfunkeln and Sonnenträumer in a fantastic location since Easter 2011 (first occupancy). Each unit offers about 100 sqm and everything you need for a relaxing holiday: 3 bedrooms for up to 6 people, 2 bathrooms each with washbasin, toilet and shower, sauna, large living-dining area with terrace and garden area, underfloor heating in the entire low-energy house, LAN and WLAN, TV, washing machine and dryer, parking space in front of the house, TÜV-certified ethanol stove, prices incl. . Despite all the comfort, we have also placed great emphasis on ecology, triple glazing, controlled living space ventilation, green roof and rainwater infiltration systems are just a few aspects.

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday homes Meeresfunkeln and Sonnenträumer are located in a very quiet street, at the end of their own newly paved access road (25m long). The back of the house faces west with a magnificent valley view through the forest to Sellin and in the distance to the Granitz hunting lodge. The holiday home Meeresfunkeln has a terrace facing south, Sonnenträumer has an additional reading room with a west terrace. Thus, both outdoor areas are completely separated from each other. The fine sandy south beach is approx. 250m away on foot through the settlement/forest, the high shore is approx. 100m away. The Baltic seaside resort Sellin is situated east of an extensive coastal high forest (the Granitz) at the connection to the peninsula Mönchgut in the south-east of Rügen. Another special feature is that Sellin lies on the Baltic Sea and on Lake Sellin, which is connected to the Greifswald Bodden on the west side of Mönchgut via the bay of Having. Along with Binz and Göhren, Sellin is one of the most important seaside resorts on Rügen.

Cancellation terms:
If the customer cancels, the following conditions apply: - For cancellations up to the 61st day before the start of occupancy, there is a fee of 50 euros. - For cancellations from the 60th to the 35th day before the start of occupancy, 50% of the accommodation price is charged. - For cancellations from the 34th day to the day before the start of occupancy, 80% of the accommodation price is charged. - In case of no-show or cancellation after the start of the trip, 90% of the accommodation price is due and cannot be refunded. If we are able to rebook the property on a cancellation from the 60th day before the start of occupancy, the processing fee is 70 euros. We recommend taking out cancellation insurance.

Enjoy a beautiful walk along the southern beach to Baabe and as far as Göhren. Take a varied bike tour through the Mönchgut via Moritzdorf to Putbus and then let the historic steam train "Rasender Roland" take you home again

Lovely holiday home in Sellin on the island of Rügen.
Very beautiful and very well-equipped holiday home in Sellin, which left nothing to be desired. The property was as described, the equipment was high quality. Particularly noteworthy is the great location with distant views, the spaciousness of the house with the fully equipped kitchen, and the lovely sauna, which we used daily. Inquiries and communication with the landlord were very quick and uncomplicated - for us, a successful holiday on Rügen in this holiday home.

Wonderful vacation on Ruegen
We were already the second time in Sellin and in the house Sonnenträumer/Meeresfunkeln. As the first time, we felt very comfortable again. The house is spacious, lovingly furnished, and clean. In addition, it has a great location, you can do almost everything on foot. The beach is great, and the pier is always worth a walk. The landlords and also the caretaker are very friendly. We will definitely come back.

A great holiday on a beautiful island
Our holiday in Haus Meeresfunkeln was good all round. The handover was problem-free and we found the furnishings of the flat as described online. The location of the house is very good. After a few metres through the forest, you can enjoy the view of the sea from the high shore. And just a little further you are at the beautiful pier of Sellin. Or you can walk there via Wilhelmstraße. Strolling there is fun.
The nearest supermarket is less than 10 minutes away on foot. Directly behind it is the railway station from which the "Rasende Roland" train departs and Lake Sellin.
We did a lot of things on Rügen during the week, and Sellin was a very good starting point from our point of view.
