Norddeich (Low German: Nörddiek) is a district of the town of Norden with just under 1750 inhabitants. Norddeich is located in the north-west of East Frisia directly on the North Sea coast and has been a state-recognised North Sea spa since 1979.
On 24 June 2010, Lower Saxony's Minister of Economic Affairs, Jörg Bode, awarded the district the highest level of tourism recognition with the title "North Sea Spa". Our holiday flat is centrally located in Norddeich:
*approx. 400 m to the bakery and Netto discount store.
*approx. 8 minutes walk to Ocean Wave, with a sauna area, seawater wave adventure pool, massages, sauna and a seal station in the Norddeich National Park House, mini-golf, bowling alley and spa park.
*approx. 15 minutes walk to the sandy beach, kite meadow / sunbathing lawn (1.2 km as the crow flies)
*Our dyke / beach invites you to take relaxed, quiet and romantic walks in the sunset.
*it takes about 20 minutes to walk to Norddeich harbour, which is mainly used for ferry and freight traffic to the East Frisian islands of Juist and Norderney. It is the third largest passenger port in Germany after Puttgarden and Rostock and the largest in Lower Saxony. Every year, around 2.25 million passengers travel from here to the islands of Norderney and Juist. In addition, vehicles are transported to the island of Norderney every year, which is served every hour in summer. All in all, there are approximately scheduled trips to both islands per year. The North Sea island of Juist (dt. [jyːst], niederl. [jœy̑st]) is one of the East Frisian islands in the Wadden Sea of Lower Saxony and lies between Borkum and Norderney). Norderney (Nörderneei)is one of the East Frisian Islands in the North Sea.
*In the early hours of the morning, you can watch the cutter being unloaded live, as most of the cutters return to the harbour in the morning after a long night of fishing, and you can also try some freshly cooked crabs.
*The town of Norden (Nörden) is km from the Ludgerie church, countless old buildings, our historic market square, our tea museum is also directly on the market square, from there you can enjoy a real East Frisian tea with cake.
The inhabitants of Norden are called Norder, or Nörder in Low German. Norden is one of the oldest towns in East Frisia. In 2005 it celebrated the 750th anniversary of the first documentary mention. It is the main town and namesake of the historic landscape of Norderland and the fourth largest town in East Frisia in terms of population. Until 31 July 1977, it was the seat of the district of the same name, which was merged into the district of Aurich on 1 August of that year.
*We have countless restaurants here in Norddeich (Nörddiek) (German cuisine, fish, Italian, Greek, etc). Everything is within easy walking distance.
*If you are planning a bicycle tour, we have a bicycle rental shop right here in the street about 200 metres away.
*Kur Klinik Norddeich is 2 km away as the crow flies. They offer massages, exercise baths, relaxation rooms/techniques, wellness treatments, etc.
*For our young guests there is also a Misikschuppen, Meta a "cult" disco that has existed for over 50 years, this is 0 km away as the crow flies
*The Waloseum is very easy to reach by car (5 km away).
*The fishing village of Greetsiel is a district of the municipality of Krummhörn in the district of Aurich in Lower Saxony. The seaside resort is located on the Ley Bay in western East Frisia and has 1450 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012). Greetsiel looks back on a history of over 650 years.
*The city of Emden is km is the largest city in East Frisia, with inhabitants Emden is the smallest of the independent cities in Lower Saxony. The inhabitants are called Emder.
*The city of Aurich (Auerk) is km away. Aurich is the district town of the district of Aurich in East Frisia in the north-west of Lower Saxony. Aurich is the second largest city in East Frisia - both in terms of inhabitants (behind Emden) and area (behind Wittmund). With inhabitants, Aurich is an independent municipality and is listed as a medium-sized centre in the regional planning of the state of Lower Saxony.

Leave the A31 or A28 in the direction of the exit "Emden Mitte" and take the B72 in the direction of Georgsheil / Aurich, in Georgsheil follow the B 72 in the direction of Norden / Norddeich, Once you arrive in Norddeich, turn left immediately after the Hotel Norden / Norddeich into the street "Alter Dörper Weg", then take the first street on the right. (Loggerstrasse) and you have reached your destination.

Beautiful vacation
I booked the accommodation with the Schimanski family.
The Schimanski family warmly welcomed us and explained everything.
The house is very well-kept, great decor.
The apartment is super nicely furnished, very cozy.
Everything you need was there.
Except for the bed, which was small for large, strong people, the mattress was very hard (for those with back problems).
Nevertheless, it is a super great accommodation, with a very nice family and their pets that you could see. Thank you for everything, wishes Family Schimanski, many more great years, of the SEASONS.

I would be very kindly received. The apartment is located on a quiet street, is very clean, and the furnishings provide everything necessary. Additionally, the apartment is very lovingly decorated.

This cozy and lovingly furnished holiday apartment simply delighted us! Super nice landlords! Arrival and departure top-pick up! Bicycles ready at any time! Super equipped! The short distances to the beach, as well as to the supermarket and church, etc., also positively surprised us!
