Location and surroundings of object
The town of Arucas is in the northern part of the island of Gran Canary, some 12 kilometres from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Sitting on a mountainside of volcanic origin, it is surrounded by fields of corn, potatoes and banana plantations.
The lovely neo-gothic church and the whole village is a fantastic place to visit. Spectacular and with cosy streets all around it, plus that you have the rum distillery close by as well.
