Description
This country house is located in the distric of Moreto, a mainly agricultural area, where maize, potatoes and vegetables are cultivated. There are several dams for irrigation. From the house towards the south, one has an excellent viewpoint from the town "Villa de Moya", with the mountains as the background, and on the other side the sea. Just 120 Mts. away from the rural house there is an interesting archeological area of caves dating from 8th century (La Montañeta).

Location and surroundings of object
Moya has become a pleasant town of the middle of Gran Canaria. It is surrounded by fertile fields and has beautiful landscapes of rugged mountains and deep ravines. The village has a small historic center. The church of Our Lady of Candelaria (impressive by its location: at the edge of a cliff that rises from the back of the throat that gives the village its name) and the house museum of the poet Thomas Morales (representative of modernism Spanish) are places that you can visit.
Just five minute drive (or 35 minutes walk along the old road to San Fernando used by farmers), and the visit becomes a nature walk: Los Tilos laurel forest Doramas last stand. Another interesting visit only 100 meters from the rural house is the archaeological site The Montañeta, where you will see the caves that were inhabited by Aborigines from eighth to twelfth centuries.
