What a pleasant stay! The wooden bungalow was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. We especially appreciated the proximity to the beach - just a few steps away. The outdoor space was perfect for our family, with a nice area to relax after a day of exploring. The lighthouse of Ameland nearby was a highlight of our trip, and we enjoyed dinner at Wijnen van Egbert, which was extremely close. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway!

Beautiful place! Big enough for our group, and we enjoyed the outdoor space. A bit of a walk to the beach, but not too bad. The heating took a while to figure out, but the host was really helpful and sorted it out. Overall a good experience.

The wooden bungalow was so charming and comfortable! We spent a lot of time on the terrace, enjoying the surroundings. The children loved the nearby outdoor pool, and we had a great time exploring the island.

The rented house was suitable for six people, of which 1 bedroom had a bunk bed. The furnishings were sober, with among other things a rattan chair without cushions in it, which is not very comfortable to sit in.
Furthermore, the kitchen utensils were minimal, including plates, pans, etc.
Otherwise okay, but the price (almost € 1600 for a week) ridiculously expensive.

The space occupied by us Doppelbungalow is solid in itself, would have been necessary in the past, but a little more care and maintenance. One bedroom was not to use because of mold growth (clearly smell). In the bathroom the mold was clearly seen on the wooden ceiling. The living room sofa was pretty stained and did not look very inviting ..... Overall, the price was the performance offered disproportionate.

One bedroom was not to use because of mold growth (clearly smell). In the bathroom the mold was clearly seen on the wooden ceiling. The living room sofa was pretty stained and did not look very inviting ..... Overall, the price was the performance offered disproportionate.
