If you want a fun and cosy holiday in the middle of a cosy village with forest, dunes and beach at walking distance, Anno 1618 is the perfect location to stay.
Anno 1618, a cosy holiday home in Hollum on the beautiful Frisian island of Ameland. As the name suggests, it is one of the oldest cottages in the village. Authentic elements have been preserved as much as possible.
The house is simply but neatly and completely furnished. WIFI is available. There are terraces around the house and a parking at home. An enclosed courtyard where you can sit outside in early spring. Less suitable for limited mobility seniors due to the steep stairs in such old houses.
All amenities are within walking distance such as the supermarket, restaurants, shops, bike rental and the bus stop. The beach is about 10 minutes by bike.
We rent including cleaning, excluding tourist tax á € 2.00 p.p.p.n. Pets are welcome for a fee.
Requests for different dates/stays can always be made.
Our holiday home is in the village of Hollum and is the oldest house in the village. The house was built in 1618, as the name suggests. The owner, Mrs Visser was born and raised on Ameland. The house belonged to her great-uncle. She bought it in 1980 and renovated it thoroughly. many authentic elements have been preserved. Like the bedstead doors, the beamed ceilings and the beautiful blue tiles called 'Springertjes'.
Layout ground floor: living room, kitchen, bathroom, toilet
First floor: 3 bedrooms with 1 double bed and 4 single beds.
The beach is only 10 minutes away by bike. The supermarket is around the corner, as are the bakery, drugstore, and snack bar. At the end of the street you will find Pizzeria 'Il Vulcano' and restaurant 'De Griffel', where you can enjoy lunch, drinks and dinner. Opposite the house you will find Eeterij Tante A'n, Ameland's cosiest auntie with a nice menu.
Anno 1618 is easy to reach by public transport. From Nes ferry port, take bus 1 towards Ballum- Hollum and get off at the Yme Duenen road stop in Hollum. Walk just under 100 metres into the village and opposite Eeterij Tante A'n you will find Anno 1618.

- Wanneer u annuleert na de betaling van het voorschot, wordt er € 55,00 administratiekosten gerekend. Wanneer u vier weken voor startdatum van uw verblijf annuleert storten we 75% van uw betaling terug maar berekenen daarbij ook de € 55,00 administratiekosten
