Brilliant place in the Eifel! We made trips to Manderscheid (castles), Gillenfeld (swimming in a volcano crater), Bitburg (brewery) and Koblenz. The house is very spacious and the kitchen is pretty well equipped. The interior is indeed what outdated but it gives a nice German atmosphere. It is unfortunate that there are no banks or lazy chairs, which would stay completely finish. Most beds sleep well. They are nice and long so that's nice. The managers are very nice and helpful. We even got some fresh eggs. Also we could take it easy on the last day and we were not stuck to the checkout time. Excellent stay so.

We enjoyed our holiday from 08.07. - 15.07.12 spent in a cottage LAUX. We are, my 3 daughters with their children and their partners who have joined us on the last weekend. Overall, we were 8 adults, 3 small children, 1 child and a small dog. The premises have been designed really great to us. Everyone had the space he needed, everything we needed for our week was a total available. The perfectly equipped kitchen, games and information material for the environment exists. The couple Laux was gracious and friendly and gave us every wish. They were even more quiet than my little dog explored the henhouse (-: All in all we were very pleased and this house just empfehlen.Leider played not the weather gods with as we wished us, yet we were able all felt very comfortable there. We stayed with family in this beautiful house in a beautiful environment. The house is ideally situated on a cul de sac and you can play basketball for the home and table tennis. The kitchen has a large table where you can sit even with 11 men ample. The stove and oven are fine (new), the bedrooms are spacious. Nearby is a lot to see and do, for Ulmen lies in the Vulkan Eiffel but also close to the Moselle and the Rhine. Koblenz is also recommended. We probably go again next year to this house with this group because it stays We really liked and we have not all seen in the area and you can walk nicely. The owner had baked a cake for us because it was Father's Day in Germany, which was a nice surprise!

We have been a weekend here with 7 adults and 2 small children. The bedrooms were perfect, spacious and with plenty of storage. A cot we did not need, but it was there. The two bathrooms were just fine and the kids were outside nice bikes around and look at the tractor and the geese. The location of the house is in the village is the grocery store with long opening hours and Cochem is only a half hour drive through beautiful surroundings. Also good experiences with the owner, he came to greet us immediately on arrival and gave us even with a good cup of cherries during the weekend. A camera that had remained was neatly returned to us. All in all we had a great weekend, definitely worth repeating!

House "Laux" is a perfect base for holiday lovers of peace and nature. It is located in a tiny village which is formed in a street. It is located a few kilometers from the village fichtsbijzinde Ulmen where some shops and restaurants are located. The rooms were very spacious and all equipped with shutters on the windows. Everything was super arranged. We have been in Belgium with Belvilla more often but as the house here in Germany was looked after, I have never experienced SUPER !!! And everything very relaxed. I think a deposit of EUR 100, - is a good amount. Compared with the accommodations in Belgium where they ask for a minimum of 700.- (in cash, while nobody still has cash in their pocket), they are doing better here. TOP!!!

The house is very nicely situated in a dead end street in a quiet village, which is pleasant with children. There are many opportunities to play in the yard (basketball, volleyball, soccer, tractor for children, etc.). Very good connection to the motorway and a shop. Simple good accommodation for eg. mountain bike enthusiasts. The extensive route network of the Vulkan Bike-park behind the house. Spacious lockable storage for bikes and nice owners / managers. 2 bathrooms is very pleasant with a large group of athletes. What is missing is a lazy lounge, it relies on the kitchen chairs around the long dining table. Outside is a large shelter with tables and benches where you can enjoy good BBQ. The bedrooms are spacious with ample closet space.
