Description

A luxurious holiday home on a 7,000 m2 property near De Cocksdorp, situated in the middle of a dune basin surrounded by forest. Rightly a special discovery on Texel! We know many secret places on the island. The small lake that you are only allowed to visit outside the breeding season. A forgotten harbour behind the "dike" with a wooden fishing boat as a silent witness. We also include the "country estate" of Villa De Velduil. On the way towards Paal 28 you turn right. Your tyres crackle on the shell path and just one bend further you are in another world.

Rough dune
You share the property with your "neighbours" at Villa De Bosuil. But whether you'll actually meet...? We think it is very unlikely! You are looking at a piece of nature where the short-eared owl is lord and master. A rugged dune basin with glorious open patches. The tall trees at the edge enchant the area into a private paradise. During the day the sun envelops every little hill, shrub and tuft of grass. Ponies run criss-cross through the dunes. For children it is a great adventure

Unique golf course
Would you like to play a game? Just a few steps away is the 18 hole golf course De Texelse with its dunes, water features and greens.

Bright interior
A special place deserves a special architecture. De Velduil is obviously not a standard holiday home with a conservatory. Fun corners make for a playful interior. The incidence of light makes it fresh and bright inside. And the atmosphere? Golden beams, antique linen cupboards, wood-burning stove on the wall. Even die-hard design freaks have to admit that - in a place like this - you can't do without that touch of nostalgia!
