De Florijn is a luxurious, detached, thatched farmhouse. It was built in 2009 and has four particularly comfortable and atmospherically furnished apartments. With underfloor heating and beautiful wood-burning stoves, you can enjoy Texel at any time of year. Each apartment has its own south-facing terrace. For children, the large garden around the farmhouse is a true play paradise (more than 1,000 m2). The apartments also have plenty of parking space.
Farmhouses
Do you dream of country life? Then De Zilverling is the right place for you. The smell of wooden floors and the wonderful light come free of charge. Can you see yourself standing at the stove? Clanging pots and pans and looking out over the countryside? Maybe cooking isn't your thing. No problem, there are plenty of alternatives in the village. But farmhouse cooking...we think you'll be charmed by the country charm. And you'll no doubt spend countless cosy hours there. In summer, swap the kitchen table for a seat on the terrace. If you get up early, you will be rewarded with a magnificent sunrise. If you like to be alone, take a walk to the dike. The golden rays of the sun shimmer on the water and the wading birds announce the coming day with loud cries.
Wood stove
You are on an island where the wind has free rein. As soon as the wind reaches force 4, you will hear it whistling around the farm. Then you'll have a good excuse to get cosy on the sofa: Wood stove on and a delicious glass of wine to go with it. Maybe it's still good to be outside, but lighting the stove is simply part of country life! The interior of De Zilverling reinforces this feeling. Warm floors, old Dutch tiles and paintings depicting life in the countryside.

Best view
Farmhouse De Florijn was built in 2009 by builders who love their job. Artfully milled doors, small niches and a beamed ceiling like you have never seen before create an atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. In De Zilverling you have the best view, because you look directly onto the dike. The colours follow the changing of the seasons with bright green in spring and straight lines of dark ground in winter. Just outside your field of vision is the large meadow where your children can play!

Would you like to enjoy the peace and quiet and get to know the true island feeling? Then our farmhouses are the right place for you. They are located in a quiet environment with a view of the mudflat dike near large nature reserves. Here you will find peace and quiet and experience the true island feeling. The dunes and forests are also within easy reach. Our farmhouses are located in the former fishing village of Oost, close to the Wadden Sea and the most beautiful village on Texel: Oosterend. Oost was known as a harbour village where people used to fish for oysters and collect seaweed. On the spot where the lodges are located today, there was an old, dilapidated farm. Near this farm - so the story goes - old Dutch coins were found in a clay pot. So we had the idea to give the lodges the names of the coins that were found there.
