With its typical East Frisian architecture, our Ankerhuus has a very special atmosphere and a lot of charm
Our accommodation is named after the anchor sculpture from the Funnix sculpture garden, which is installed in front of the house.
A bright, modern and cosy interior with a feel-good atmosphere awaits you in the house.

After arrival, you can park your car directly at the side entrance and unload it quickly and easily.
Now also with 11 KW Typ2 Wallbox at 40ct per KW/h charging current.
The house offers enough space for 4 people and a maximum of two medium-sized dogs by arrangement.
There is a washing area for your favourite four-legged friend outside.
All rooms are conveniently located on one level
This includes the spacious modern kitchen, the cosy living room, two cosy bedrooms each with a double bed,
a guest toilet with shower and a bathroom with bathtub.
In the living room you can choose to linger on the large comfortable corner sofa or in the recliner.
Large TV, information material, radio and CD as well as free fast internet will not let you get bored.
In the morning you can have breakfast in the large kitchen (new 2022) with extensive equipment, or you can use the beautiful terrace with a view of the greenery.
2 bathrooms prevent stress in the early morning.
The 2 quiet bedrooms with double bed and adjustable slatted frame ensure a restful sleep
Outside, there is a lockable room for your bicycles.
Alternatively, we can recommend a cheap e-bike and bicycle rental service that will bring your bicycles to the house and pick them up again at the end of your holiday
In the large fenced garden you can start, plan and end your day on a total of three terraces
Your view can roam unhindered over the property or the unspoilt landscape
Enjoy the healthy North Sea air and the proverbial vastness of East Frisia.

Location and surroundings of object
Pretty much between the town of Wittmund and the coastal town of Carolinensiel is the small and idyllically situated Funnix
Our house is located at the end of the village with a view of the vast East Frisian landscape.
Visit the parish church of St. Florian from the 14th century or the famous Funnix sculpture garden.
There is plenty to discover in the inland area around Funnix. No matter whether you prefer to travel by car or by bike. Exciting excursion destinations can usually be reached in just a few minutes by car, such as the piers and charming harbours on the North Sea coast like Neßmersiel, Dornumersiel, Bensersiel, Carolinensiel, Neuharlingersiel and Harlingersiel.
The surrounding towns such as Wittmund, Esens or Jever invite you to make smaller shopping trips. If you are planning a larger shopping tour, Wilhelmshaven is not far away. The harbour tour and a visit to the naval port are also interesting.

Feel-good house away from the hustle and bustle
We spent a longer vacation at Ankerhuus and simply felt at home there. The house is very cozy and lovingly furnished and equipped with everything you need. The huge garden is ideal for dogs.
The landlords, the caretaker, and also the neighbors there are all very very nice and endeavor to make the guest feel good.
We would love to come back!

Feeling at home
The holiday home is exactly as described. We arrived and immediately felt at home. The house is cozy and nicely furnished and nothing was missing, even in terms of kitchen equipment. It was a totally relaxing holiday in a small, quiet village. Even our four-legged friend enjoyed the large, completely fenced garden. It was certainly not our last holiday in Funnix, in this great holiday home!!

Ausstattung sehr gut aber Bitterkalt.
Die Wohnung hat ein großes aber, alle Räume waren sehr kalt, wenn man von Draußen kommt und möchte sich Aufwärmen, Fehlanzeige, es war in jedem Raum unheimlich kalt und man konnte die Temperatur nicht höher drehen. Alles nur mit dicken Pullover und 2 paar Socken.
Die Ausstattung ist richtig gut gewesen.

Sehr geehrter Herr Wolfgang S.,
vor der kalten Jahreszeit haben wir die Heizung und alle Thermostate umgerüstet, um im Zeitraum ohne Belegung die Temperatur aus der Ferne absenken zu können und Energie zu sparen.
Nur so können wir die Preise auch in der kalten Jahreszeit günstig gestalten.
Leider scheint es so, das die aus der Ferne ausgelesenen Temperaturen in den Räumen nicht korrekt sind und nicht ausreichen um ein Wohlfühlklima zu haben.
Dafür möchte ich mich aufrichtig entschuldigen.
Das sollte nicht vorkommen und ich werde das beheben damit zukünftig die Temperaturen angenehm sind.
Wir bitten unser Gäste sich in solchen Fällen, sich umgehend an unsere Hausfee zu wenden damit eine schnelle Lösung gefunden werden kann.

Holiday home plus relaxation guaranteed
We felt very comfortable in the house with four adults. As a small suggestion, a small carport outside for cooler and rainy days would be desirable. We would have been very happy about that, especially since then the chairs would be dry in the morning

Das Haus ist gemütlich und mit allem eingerichtet. Unser Hund hat vor allem den Garten sehr genossen. Es liegt zentral zu vielen Städten, die zur Besichtigung einladen.

Sehr schönes Haus mit einem sehr großen Grundstück
Wir waren sehr gespannt .
Es begrüßte uns ein tolles Haus ...eingerichtet mit viel Liebe an Details. Alles ist vorhanden was man benötigt für einen entspannten Urlaub mit Fellnasen. Die Nordsee mit ihren Stränden ist gut zu erreichen ( entweder Auto oder mit dem Rad). Wir haben uns den einen oder anderen Hundestrand angeschaut . Unsere Empfehlung absolut ist der Hundestrand in Schillig!! Es wir dort Rücksicht genommen aufeinander sodass die Hunde auch gut an der Schleppleine an dem Strand oder direkt an der Wattkante laufen können. Für Familien mit Kindern ist an dem Naturstrand auch Platz zum Buddeln usw. ohne Ende. Alles , was man für die Grundversorgung braucht, ist leicht zu erreichen. ( halt mit dem Auto oder dem Rad)
Rundum haben wir die Zeit hier genossen und freuen uns auf nächstes Jahr weil wir definitiv wieder herfahren ( aus Bayern kommend)

Empfehlenswert
Wir waren mit zwei erwachsenen Kindern da. Für uns war daher der großzügige Platz, die zwei Bäder und das große Sofa ausschlaggebend. Es wurde weit übertroffen. Die Vermieter sind schnell erreichbar und supernett. Das Haus ist warm, sauber, sehr gepflegt und von der Heissluftfritteuse bis zur Grundausstattung an Tee, Reiniger uä ist alles vorhanden. Wir konnten den Außenbereich kaum nutzen, ich kann mir aber sehr gut einen längeren Urlaub vorstellen. Toll für Hunde. Die Lage ist zentral zur Küste und allen Hauptorten und was für ein niedliches Dörfchen.

Einfach nur toll
Wir waren im für 3 Wochen im Ankerhuss in Funnix ,es hat uns sehr gut gefallen,auch unser Bobtail Bobby hat es super gefallen ,weil er einen riesigen Garten zum toben hatte.In dem Haus haben wir uns sofort wie Zuhause gefühlt,es hat uns an nichts gefehlt,die Lage und alles drum rum war super,auch dei Nachbarschft war sehr nett und hilfsbereit,alles in allem bekommt das Ankerhuus von uns eine glatte 5Sterne Benotung.

Beautiful holiday home in a good location
The equipment of the holiday home is really good. The kitchen in particular was very well stocked. Everything is very clean and well maintained, lovingly furnished with many small details.
The location is great to reach and visit the beautiful surrounding towns in a short time. It is also only 15 minutes to the sea
Shopping facilities are also just 5 minutes away
We were there with our 2 dogs. The completely fenced property is great for letting your dog run free.
The location in the village itself is nice and quiet and on the edge. Good walking possibilities.

Perfektes Herbstwochenende in Ostfriesland
Im Haus haben wir uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat nichts gefehlt. Wir waren zwar nur ein Wochenende da, haben uns aber bei Ausflügen nach Carolinensiel und Wittmund sehr erholt.

Ankerhuus-funnix
Wir waren zu 100% zufrieden. Grade auch mit Hund ist dieses Haus sehr zu empfehlen da es ein sehr grosses eingezäuntes Grundstück erhält.

Urlaub war klasse
Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Das Haus ist sehr groß und wir hatten zu dritt viel Platz. Man hat draußen drei Terrassen/ Sitzgelegenheiten die man zum lesen, Kaffee trinken, Sonnen nutzen kann. Die große Wiese lädt zum spielen ein. Es ist sehr ruhig und entspannt. Zum Einkaufen oder zum Strand braucht man ein Fortbewegungsmittel. Fahrradwege sind da. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche .
