My wife and I stayed at the Driesthuus for 5 days; between a stay in Bremen and a subsequent appointment in Amsterdam. As already apparent from previous reviews: the house is clean, located in a small alley right at the entrance to the village. Extensive kitchen equipment with plenty of dishes, pots, and pans. However, we only used it to a limited extent. In the large living room with a couch and wellness chair, one can wonderfully linger, read, or watch TV. The private garden with a covered terrace is another highlight; you can sit wonderfully in the lounge chairs or garden chairs and listen to and watch the birds. The bakery Schoof in Middoge, with fresh rolls, bread, and tasty almond croissants, is highly recommended. A charging option for electric cars is (still) not available, but the owners say it is in planning.

Vacation in Berdum

We were able to spend a few very relaxing days in this beautiful holiday home. Everything was very tidy and clean. Moreover, the house is very well equipped, nothing was missing, and the mattresses were comfortable as well. Although it is located in the small, quiet village of Berdum, you can quickly reach the coast or Jever, Wittmund, or Wilhelmshaven by car. We enjoyed our time there very much, and especially because of the tranquility, we found our own peace as well. The garden is very enchanted and not visible. There is a baker in the 4 km distant Middoge. The villagers are also very nice. The landlords are very attentive, friendly, and also help with questions. We would love to come back in the future.

Relaxing vacation

We spent two very relaxing weeks in Driesthuus. Thanks to the covered terrace in the quaint garden, you can also enjoy the day outside even in bad weather. The house is located in a quiet area, but many "Siel places" are quickly reachable. We were also very taken with Esens and Jever. There are many excursion opportunities. The house is extraordinarily well-equipped, very clean, and well thought out. The baker in Middoge should definitely be mentioned as well. Very great bread, cake...
So, anyone who wants peace but wants to quickly explore the sea or the beautiful, diverse surroundings in the north is in the right place at Driesthuus. We will definitely come back.

We were able to spend a few very relaxing days in this beautiful holiday home. Everything was very tidy and clean. In addition, the house is very well equipped. Although it is located in the small, peaceful village of Berdum, you can quickly reach your desired destination by car. We really enjoyed our time there and especially found peace and relaxation due to the tranquility. In the garden, many beautiful plants and flowers have shown themselves from their most beautiful side. The roses at the gate smelled particularly wonderful. It was also fun to watch the tits on the terrace in the morning and evening. The landlords are very attentive, friendly, and also help with any questions. We would love to visit again in the future.

Beautiful holiday home with a garden and sea view.

The Driesthuus is recommended to anyone who loves the area and tranquility of East Frisia. The tourist centers can usually be reached by car in 15-20 minutes and then you can enjoy the peace and comfort of your holiday home again, which is equipped with everything your heart desires. The contact with the owners is extremely friendly and familiar, which we had not experienced before, even though we have been regularly holidaying in this area for many years. If possible, we would love to come back.

Autumn vacation at the North Sea - Spillmann family

The holiday home is located in a very quiet location with a beautiful "enchanted" garden. The North Sea is not far away. Cows and windmill are in the immediate vicinity. Enchanted garden

Dat Driesthuus is a quiet and cozy holiday home. Additionally, there is a beautiful garden and the house is located in a very peaceful area. Berdum is an idyllic small village with friendly villagers. Everything you need is available in the entire holiday home. We didn't miss anything at all, not in the kitchen or in the rest of the house. About 3km from Berdum is Middoge, where there is a wonderful bakery - there you can get delicious rolls, bread, and cakes. From the holiday home, you can reach all the famous sights, cities, etc. So it's also recommended in bad weather. We had a super relaxed and great vacation. By the way, there are plenty of flyers for holiday excursions, bike tours, etc. in the holiday home.

Restful vacation days.

We spent 1 week in "Dat Driesthuus" with our grandchildren (2 and 5 years old). It is a lovingly furnished house with equipment that leaves nothing to be desired. The garden also offers both peaceful areas and play space for the children. The friendly, helpful, and uncomplicated nature of the landlords makes the stay very pleasant. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. Perfect accommodation

Everything was perfect for us. We could relax and the quiet location was good for us. We were out and about every day. We liked Carolinensiel very much. On Sunday we spent the whole day in Wilhelmshaven. We will go there again, then we will stay longer.

A small oasis of well-being near the North Sea.

The holiday home is located in a very quiet location in Berdum. By car, you can quickly reach the beach and also explore East Frisia and Friesland. It is a familial, comfortable, lovingly furnished house with very nice landlords. The neighbors are all very nice. We have spent a very beautiful and eventful time here. Family vacation at the North Sea

The house was as shown in the pictures. Very lovingly furnished and clean. Nothing was missing and the landlords were also very nice (at key handover). Our boys enjoyed a soccer field nearby. The village is very quiet. Otherwise, you can reach the nearest beach and supermarkets by car in about 15 minutes. We will gladly come back!

Here you are in the right place. About 10 KM from the beach in an idyllic location, a small village without any infrastructure, but good for relaxing. At the end of October, we were able to spend a week in East Frisia. From the house, we could easily reach many nearby destinations by car and bike. To our delight, the weather was also favorable, allowing us to spend a lovely day on Langeoog.
We felt very comfortable in your house. Everything was spacious and well-organized. The kitchen is excellently equipped. The cozy living room with views of the garden is very pleasant. We greatly enjoyed the spacious bathroom with the pleasant shower. The sleeping options also contribute greatly to simply feeling comfortable and recovering. We were in East Frisia for the first time and immediately hit the jackpot with the Driesthus. Very nice house, modern and comfortably furnished with plenty of space and a beautiful garden. Great! We were personally welcomed in the clean and tastefully decorated Driesthuus. The owner took a lot of time to answer our questions and was able to give us some good tips. The house itself is spacious, has a modern, well-equipped kitchen, and a nice bathroom with a large shower. The special charm lies in the personal "care" (we even received local products that we couldn't buy ourselves, delivered to our home). Absolutely recommended.

The holiday home is superbly equipped and very nicely furnished. The garden is simply fantastic and invites you to linger.

You can already feel during the welcome by the landlord that it is important for them that you can spend a relaxing holiday. Unfortunately, we were only there for 3 days and it was very hot (over 30 degrees). We felt very comfortable in the lovingly furnished house with new and antique furniture. The temperatures inside the house were very pleasant and the evenings on the terrace in the garden (beautifully landscaped) as well. The distances to Carolinensiel, Wittmund, Neuharlingensiel (ferry to Spiekeroog), Schillig, Esens, etc. are short. These places are crowded with tourists, making one grateful to return to the peaceful Berdum in the evening. So, again and again!

As a working city dweller, I spent a very relaxing extended weekend at the holiday home Dat Driesthuus and recharged my batteries.
The holiday home with a personal touch is very well equipped (e.g. the kitchen) and has a well-kept garden. There is much to explore in the surrounding area: Wittmund, Jever, and of course Carolinensiel right on the North Sea coast. There, I let the wind blow through my hair.
Overall, highly recommended for shorter and longer stays.

Holiday at the Driesthuus

Despite a short notice request, the rental went quickly and smoothly.
We were surprised that the holiday home was so spacious. In our opinion
dat Driesthuus" is not only suitable for families but also for couples.
The furnishings are very good and everything is very clean. We immediately felt at home
