Description
The holiday home Pinguin has a size of approx. 80 sqm, covering the ground floor with the entrance area, kitchen, shower room with toilet, and a sunny dining and living area on the ground floor. In the attic there are two bedrooms and a hallway. The floor on the ground floor is easy-care tiled, the attic is fitted with high-quality carpet.

as well as a cozy wood-burning stove. From here, you enter the kitchen and reach a cozy TV and living area.
The television can be operated both via satellite dish and, in the future, via the internet.
The fold-out double sleeping corner couch offers relaxing TV options as well as an additional sleeping possibility. The furniture is of high quality, including a leather recliner. As mentioned, on the ground floor there is a shower room with toilet and washing machine as well as a heated towel rail. Also on the ground floor is the fitted kitchen with modern ceramic hob and oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster, coffee machine as well as bread slicer.
A small, easily accessible staircase leads to the upper area of the house. From here, a comfortably designed hallway leads to a bedroom with a double bed of standard length. The location of this bedroom offers the possibility to fall asleep or wake up to the sound of the sea through the open window. The other, smaller bedroom has a double sofa bed with a comfortable topper for improved sleep quality. Due to the architectural feature of the thatched roof, the small room has a typically North German dormer window. The entire house on the lower floor can be used with night storage heaters and, on cooler days, with the centrally located wood-burning stove. Heating material is available outside as well as inside the house. In the bathroom, an additionally heatable towel rack is also available as another source of warmth. The hallway, staircase, as well as the two bedrooms, are equipped with individually switchable, space-friendly infrared heaters, which are also quite decorative. The house is located on a 500 sqm plot with spacious sunbathing areas for sunning or play areas.
A terrace of about 30 sqm with garden furniture, a beach chair, and sun loungers invites you to relax comfortably; the proximity to the beach allows for active recreation and relaxation.
A garden house is also available for use. Here, four bicycles are available for free use, at your own responsibility. There is also an electric grill in the garden house. Windbreak, beach chair, cushions for the sun loungers can be found.
For waste disposal, appropriate bins are available on the property; disposal is handled by a service. The public glass container is easy to reach and should please be used.
For safety reasons, we ask our guests not to light the wood stove with paper but only with the provided firelighters,
and also to refrain from using open fire, such as charcoal grilling. This is an urgent appeal for your own safety and the safety of the house. The special nature of the thatched roof and the woodland property require this measure and particular attentiveness.
The thatched roof was newly covered and fully insulated in 2019.
The small, dreamy Baltic Sea resort of Dierhagen, located between Bodden and the sea, exudes a special charm and offers countless activities to get to know the land and its people. The excellent location of the holiday home allows for a short walk to numerous inns and restaurants as well as supply facilities on the beach, as well as in the idyllic village on the Bodden.
Shopping opportunities are offered by the Edeka market and a large Aldi market, both of which are located on the road towards Darss. We kindly ask our guests to pay the visitor’s tax themselves at the Haus des Gastes opposite the spa park; here you will also receive comprehensive information material for planning your personal holiday.
Upon departure, we ask you to leave the spa card for verification.
You are welcome to bring your own bed linen and towels for the duration of your stay.

Location and surroundings of object
The idyllic Osteebad Dierhagen offers a central starting point for many adventures and explorations due to its semi-island location.
Not far from the B105 on the route from Rostock to Stralsund, there are quickly accessible destinations in both directions.
Rostock can be reached from all directions via the motorway. The historical Hanseatic town of Stralsund is hardly 50 km away from Dierhagen and is the gateway to the island of Rügen due to the impressive bridge over the Rügen dam. The Ozeaneum is a special highlight.
The time-honoured Hanseatic city Rostock, about 30km away from Dierhagen, with harbour, ferries, a spacious zoo and of course the impressive Hanseatic city centre, can be reached quickly. Karls Erdbeerhof directly at the B105 offers a special experience for young and old
many destinations, especially Warnemünde with its traditional events, are easy to reach by car, bus or by bicycle.
Dierhagen offers a generously developed new adventure playground for children.
In the immediate vicinity, there are adventure pools in Ribnitz-Damgarten, Graal Müritz and Stralsund.

Small and fine?
The small holiday house is very close to the beach promenade in Dierhagen. Ideal for quickly taking the kids to the playground, eating ice cream, or looking for souvenirs in the favorite shop "Ostsee Truhe." In two minutes you are at the beach, to dip into the waves just before breakfast or to spend the whole day at the beach. The house itself is very lovingly furnished and decorated, sometimes too much decoration for smaller children - since everything wants to be played with? Everything you need is available, and there is even a beach chair for relaxing in front of the door. Those who need bicycles can use the ones in the garden shed. . . we brought our own and simply locked it on the property. If you want it completely quiet and solitary, you should look for another accommodation. The main path to the beach promenade runs directly along the garden fence, and you can hear cyclists or walkers passing by when sitting in the garden, or you can also faintly hear the music played on the beach promenade.
