Description

The holiday home Penguin covers a size of approx. 80 sqm over the ground floor with the entrance area, kitchen, shower room with toilet and a sunny dining and living area on the ground floor. In the attic are two bedrooms and hallway. The floor on the ground floor is tiled for easy maintenance, the attic is carpeted.
A sunny dining area in the centre of the house with a terrace window leading directly into the garden
from here, the kitchen and a cosy TV and living area can be reached.
The television can be watched via
Satellite dish and in the future via internet.
The fold-out double sofa bed offers relaxing television as well as an additional sleeping possibility. The furniture is of high quality and includes a leather recliner.
As mentioned, there is a shower room with toilet and washing machine as well as a heated towel rail on the ground floor
Also on the ground floor is the fitted kitchen with a modern ceramic hob and oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster, coffee maker and bread slicer.
A small, easily accessible staircase leads to the upper part of the house, from where a homely hallway leads to a bedroom with a single bed
From here a homely hallway leads into a bedroom with a double bed of normal length. The position of this bedroom offers the possibility to fall asleep with the sound of the sea through the open window
the other smaller bedroom has a double sofa bed with a comfortable topper for a more comfortable sleep. The small room has a typical northern German dormer window due to the structural peculiarity of the reed roofing. The entire house in the lower floor is usable with night storage heaters and on cooler days with the centrally located fireplace stove.heating material is available in the outside area, as well as in the house itself.in the bathroom is an additional heatable Handduchhalter also available as a further source of heat.hallway, staircase as well as the two bedrooms are equipped with induviduell einschaltbaren room-friendly infrared radiators, which are also quite decorative.
The house is situated in a 500 sqm large plot with spacious sunbathing areas or playgrounds
A terrace of about 30 sqm with garden furniture and a beach chair and sun loungers invite you to linger comfortably, the proximity to the beach allows for active recreation and relaxation.
There is also a garden shed available for use, where four bicycles can be used free of charge at your own responsibility. The garden house also has an electric windbreak, beach chair and sun lounger rests.
For waste disposal, there are rubbish bins on the property, which are disposed of by a service. The public bottle bank is easily accessible and should be used.
For safety reasons, we ask our guests not to light the fireplace with paper but only with the firelighters provided
and also to refrain from using open fires, such as charcoal barbecues. This is an urgent appeal for your own safety and for the safety of the house. The special nature of the thatched roof and the woodland property require this measure and special attention.
The thatched roof was re-roofed in 2019 and also fully insulated.
The small, dreamy Baltic seaside resort of Dierhagen, situated between the Bodden and the sea, exudes a special charm and offers countless opportunities to get to know the country and its people.
The excellent location of the holiday home allows short distances to numerous restaurants and bars as well as to supply facilities at the beach and in the idyllic village at the Bodden,
Shopping facilities are offered by the Edeka market and a large ALdimarkt, both of which are located on the road towards Darss.

We ask our guests to pay the visitor's tax themselves at the Haus des Gastes opposite the Kurpark, where you will also receive extensive information material for your personal holiday planning.
On departure, we ask you to return your spa card for reconciliation.
For current reasons, we have planned the following energy concept for 2023:
We want to charge the energy costs for electricity (heating and domestic electricity) and water according to consumption.
Our house service will determine the corresponding meter readings on arrival and departure.
The energy costs incurred will then be offset against the deposit. The energy prices can be viewed in the house folder.
This means an enormous effort, but we think it is a correct basis in the current confusion.

You can be assured that we will choose the "cheapest supplier", also in our own interest.

Location and surroundings of object

The idyllic Osteebad Dierhagen offers a central starting point for many adventures and explorations due to its semi-island location.
Not far from the B105 on the route from Rostock to Stralsund, there are quickly accessible destinations in both directions.
Rostock can be reached from all directions via the motorway. The historical Hanseatic town of Stralsund is hardly 50 km away from Dierhagen and is the gateway to the island of Rügen due to the impressive bridge over the Rügen dam. The Ozeaneum is a special highlight.
The time-honoured Hanseatic city Rostock, about 30km away from Dierhagen, with harbour, ferries, a spacious zoo and of course the impressive Hanseatic city centre, can be reached quickly. Karls Erdbeerhof directly at the B105 offers a special experience for young and old
many destinations, especially Warnemünde with its traditional events, are easy to reach by car, bus or by bicycle.
Dierhagen offers a generously developed new adventure playground for children.

In the immediate vicinity, there are adventure pools in Ribnitz-Damgarten, Graal Müritz and Stralsund.

Use of bicycle on own responsibility

Cancellation terms:

  • You will be refunded half of the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 7 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock midday CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 7 days before check-in there will be no refund.
