The holiday home
The apartment Huisje "Meer aan Zee", Beach apartment 48, is located on the ground floor of a residential complex. By car you will first pass a barrier that can be opened with a PIN code. The apartment has its own parking space. In the inner courtyard, children can play to their heart's content in the playground. There is also a trampoline. There is a covered storage area for bicycles. You can also park your bike here.
You enter the apartment in the hallway. There are two double bedrooms, both with en suite bathroom (shower with thermostatic tap, floating toilet, washbasin), each bedroom has 2 single beds and you can watch TV in bed (SMART flatscreen). If you wish, you can use the new cot (please bring your own mattress protector and bed linen) and the high chair.
The hallway leads into the living room with modern open kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with all conveniences: a Nespresso machine, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, a gas cooker with 4 burners and a refrigerator. The dining table for 4 people invites you to enjoy a cosy meal and the sitting area is fully equipped with a couch, armchairs and a table. The television is not missing here either. In the living room there are also toys, games and books. If it is a little bit colder the underfloor heating makes the apartment warm quickly and comfortably.
From the living room you enter the private garden through the door. Here you will find a wooden table with spacious chairs and a small bench made of solid wood.
There is WLAN in the residence and in the common room there is a washing machine and a dryer.

Enjoy the sun and the beach (100 metres away) in summer, stroll quietly in the evening to the centre of Callantsoog (500 metres away) and have a glass or an ice cream on one of the many terraces, or enjoy the evening sun in the garden with a cup of Nespresso or a glass of wine. In springtime, cycle through the magnificent flower fields, do some nice shopping in Alkmaar or take the ferry and visit the Wadden island Texel. Take the whole family out for a walk on the beach in autumn or winter and warm up with a hot cocoa in one of the beach cafés. Everything goes, in every season, with our luxury apartment, comfortably furnished for 4 persons, as a base for action.
Our beach apartment is located on the ground floor of a residential complex, opposite the road to the beach, from where the centre can be reached on foot. The apartment has 65 square meters of luxury kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a terrace with dune views. Your dog is also welcome.
We have done everything possible to transform the apartment into a luxurious and comfortable "temporary home" where everyone is welcome. We invite you to come by and enjoy this place. We ourselves relax here every time and then come to rest completely.
The seaside resort Callantsoog is situated in the head of North Holland, which is known as one of the most beautiful areas in the Netherlands. The landscape consists of beach, sea, dunes, polders and flower fields. Callantsoog lies behind the narrowest row of dunes in Holland, which means that you are practically right on the beach. In 2000 all beaches in North Holland were awarded the Blue Flag. This means that the beaches are clean, safe and have adequate facilities. The northern part of North Holland also has the most hours of sunshine in the Netherlands.
Callantsoog is popular all year round; dunes, sea and beach are crossed every season. In summer there are daily events in the village and on the beach. The cosy village centre has several restaurants, terraces and shops that are open all year round. In the summer months the shops are even open until the clock. Inland there are villages and small towns to discover. The many cycle and country paths in this varied area offer every cyclist many possibilities.

Top Unterkunft!
Die Wohnung ist ansprechend eingerichtet. Alles in einem sehr sauberen, gepflegten Zustand.
Gut ausgestattete Küche.
Die Lage ist unschlagbar. In 5 Minuten hat man den Strand erreicht. Von da aus kann man Stundenlang am Strand spazieren gehen.
Wir kommen im nächsten Jahr wieder.

Delightful to enjoy the fresh air at the sea!
I had a wonderful week by the sea with my dog. From the first contact, the communication with the landlord was pleasant. The landlord responds quickly and kindly to all questions via email. On-site, the cleaner is also willing to answer questions if necessary.
The apartment is cozy furnished. There was a welcome package waiting for us upon arrival, very thoughtful. Even though I came by car, it was nice that everything was within walking distance. The village square, the supermarket, the beach, wonderful! I also felt very welcome everywhere with my dog at the restaurants and terraces. For me, it’s definitely a reason to think about Callantsoog for my next holiday, and of course, the apartments of Luxe huisje aan Zee, truly a recommendation! !!!

Gladly again to Callantsoog
We, a couple with a small dog, spent a very relaxing two-week holiday here. The flat is on the ground floor near the beach and close to the centre of the village. Shopping facilities, restaurants, everything close by. Very clean, tastefully furnished and equipped with everything we needed. We will be happy to come back

Tolle Ferienwohnung
We were completely satisfied with our holiday at "Meer aan Zee". Everything we needed was available, enough space for 4 people, especially with the 2 bathrooms we really liked it, and the selection of existing toys and the playground in the courtyard were great for our children. The location is particularly great because of the proximity to the beach and the town center is also very close. Thank you, we would love to come back.

Beautiful time out
We felt very comfortable in the flat!
The shower is a bit dim and the water splashes into the room despite the shower curtain, but there is a bathroom adjacent to each bedroom. It would be great, especially if you are staying with a dog, if the terrace was separated from the neighbour by a fence or something similar.
The location and the access to the beach is great! The many toys in the flat and the playground right outside the door were also great!

Wonderful vacation at the beach
We stayed in apartment number 48 in November! The place is small, but has everything you need! It's great for kids, with a playground right in the courtyard. The beach is a three-minute walk away. The apartment has everything you could need! You don't even need to bring toys for the little ones. We were very happy and would come back anytime!

Our fourth time in this apartment, after the previous visit a modest facelift, but with an eye for detail, enjoyed once again and welcomed with delicious seafood (chocolates). The road over directly leads to the dunes, equal to the sea. See you next year!

Super fijn appartement
We had a very nice holiday in the Meer aan Zee cottage. The apartment was clean, equipped with all amenities and the beds were made upon arrival! Everything has a fresh look and the location near the dunes is great! We will definitely come back once everything is open again and we can visit some other things in this area! It is a beautiful part of the Netherlands in a very nice apartment, a top-notch holiday!

Wonderfully beautiful spot right on the sea.
Had a wonderful weekend in a beautifully styled apartment. From the living room, you can directly see the dunes, and within 5 minutes you are on the beach. Callantsoog is a small cozy village with many amenities. Happy that we can come back in May!!

What a wonderful place to celebrate your vacation!
We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. Very nice and comfortably furnished cottage and clean. Also, attention was paid to small things like soap dispensers, Nespresso cups, and even a few good bottles of wine that we could use for a small fee. The only downside is that we had to leave after just 3 nights... We would love to come back again!

"Home away from Home"
It was a fantastic stay. You cross the street and walk through the beautiful dunes to the beach. For us, definitely not just a summer destination. The cottage is fully equipped, the supermarket and village square are within walking distance. There are also beautiful places to discover nearby. I can recommend it to everyone!
P.S. The owners even have delicious wines available that you can (of course) enjoy for a fee. In addition, children are also catered for with plenty of toys, and there is a playground outside the door.

An excellent start to 2021.
Had a very pleasant stay at 'Huisje meer aan zee' in Callantsoog. The cottage is well-maintained, everything is provided. The underfloor heating was very comfortable after a beach walk. The en-suite bathrooms at the bedrooms also give a luxurious feel. The children could play safely on the trampoline and play equipment. The location opposite the beach entrance is excellent! We would love to come back here for a longer stay. For now, the year could not have started better.

Lovely apartment, fully equipped!
We spent the New Year in this lovely apartment. It was nice to enter a warm apartment with a gift for the guests. The apartment is cozy and well-equipped. It's wonderfully close to the beach and the village. The house is a pleasant place to stay with toys for children, a shelf full of books, good TVs, underfloor heating... delightful! Great spot!
We had a wonderful weekend with our family (2 children) in this newly renovated apartment. When you arrive, the complex doesn't look inviting in terms of architecture, but that is not the owner's fault. However, the grounds/building are well-maintained; private parking, covered bike storage, small playground with trampoline for the kids. Once inside the apartment, you immediately feel at home, very nicely decorated, fully equipped, everything has been thought of. We really felt welcome. Add to that the location relative to the village and beach; we would love to come back again. It was also very nice that the landlord responded quickly to our questions via email, and we received the security deposit back quickly into our account.

Beautiful apartment with a view of the dunes
We had a great time in this apartment. Nicely decorated, everything was there for a pleasant stay. Pleasant contact with the landlord before departure, also very important for us.
