In addition to the golf course, with its beautiful natural setting, there are excellent conditions for enjoying nature - whether on foot, by bike or on horseback from the nearby riding stables in Steffenshagen and Reiterhof Böldt, Kühlungsborn-Ost (still behind the marina). The holiday home "Norway" offers you lovingly and completely equipped holiday flats directly at the golf course Wittenbeck. Due to the balanced ventilation with pollen filter in all rooms - ideal for all allergy sufferers - you will have a carefree holiday in every season!
The holiday home is located near the scenic cooling with rushing forests and the Baltic Sea, between the Baltic seaside resort Heiligendamm and Kühlungsborn. From every flat you can look southwards onto the natural meadows and the forests of the Kühlung, the north balcony allows a view of the Baltic Sea.
In our large garden, everyone is guaranteed to find a place to sunbathe, play or rest. A general barbecue area is at your disposal.

Bad Doberan traditional racecourse
About halfway between Bad Doberan and Heiligendamm lies Germany's oldest racecourse. After the track was ploughed up after 1961, the new racecourse was inaugurated on the old site in 1993 to mark Heiligendamm's 200th anniversary. Since then, the horse races in Bad Doberan have once again become an integral part of German turf and the highlight of the season, celebrated with many prominent guests.
Not far away is also the Hanseatic city of Rostock with its commercial and fishing port and lively shipping traffic. The old town with its medieval churches invites you on extended expeditions into the past and entices you with numerous tasteful as well as cosy gastronomic establishments. The maritime museum and the theatre are also popular destinations. In the old fishing village of Warnemünde with its promenade \"Alter Strom\" in the north of Rostock, there are opportunities for excursions by ship on the Baltic Sea. In summer, Kühlungsborn offers not only golf but above all beach life or even a trip out onto the Baltic Sea.
The Hanseatic city of Wismar is also worth a trip.
Wismar's old town has now been lovingly restored!
It is always worthwhile to sit on the market square, for example in front of or even in the "Old Sweden", and let your eyes wander over the renovated facades all around. Wismar (like Stralsund, by the way) has been included in UNESCO's World Heritage List!
Wismar also has the new fun and adventure pool "Wonnemar" with a large sauna area.
Leisure and sportsMini golf, basketball, trampoline jumping etc. can be found at the small park between Stadtwald and Hermannstraße in Kü: for example in our street, right next to the Golfhotel am Grün, about 600 m from the holiday home : The indoor swimming pool in Kühlungsborn (reopened in 2008) offers variety in bad weather with approx. 26 - 27° C warm seawater pool and 28 - 29° C warm : Tennis courts are located in the West district in the Lindenpark (May to September).Boat trips: From the pier in Kühlungsborn-Ost there are interesting excursion tours, e.g. to Warnemünde or to Grö: Seven-hour nostalgia tour with a four-horse stagecoach, from Kühlungsborn to Rerik, to the Salzhaff, through the cooling and back to Kühlungsborn - once a week. More information is available at the Haus des Gastes in the centre.

Great flat
Beautiful flat. Perfect for a romantic weekend for two. Everything you could wish for is available. A fireplace, a sauna in the garden, a whirlpool operated with wood
The flat itself is very clean, large and bright. Beautifully furnished. Large bathroom. 2 toilets on two floors. Ideal size for up to 4 people
I will be happy to come back!

absolutely recommended holiday house
A fantastic holiday home, beautifully furnished, spacious, large bathroom, very clean and bright, great balcony for outdoor dining.
Plenty of space outside for children to play, parking space for cars, and very quiet location.
The location is away from mass tourism, but the beach is easily accessible by bike or car.
However, without a car, one may struggle as the village itself does not offer many shopping options.
All in all, highly recommended!!!

shopping facilities: Kühlungsborn hat mehrere Supermärkte und viele schöne Läden zum Bummeln in der Innenstadt, Restaurants und Imbisse in rauhen Mengen
Anyone who knows Norway knows how beautiful it is to live in a wooden house. The healthy climate gives you strength for everyday life after your holiday. We have loved Kühlungsborn for many years and that is why we have built a piece of Norway on the Baltic Sea. We designed it ourselves and had it built using the latest construction techniques.
