The Holiday home
The Rozenhof is a former country house that has been preserved in its original state and developed into a holiday home for our large family. We would also like to offer other people the opportunity to spend individual holidays there.
The house is located on a small road that is only used by residents and suppliers. Sufficient parking facilities are available along the approx. 25 metre long property boundary.
The property is fenced in all around so that small children or dogs cannot run away.
There are three buildings on the estate:
In the main house there are the living rooms and bedrooms. From the small hallway behind the entrance on the right you reach the living room, which extends over the whole length of the house front. There is a sofa seating corner around the large open fireplace and a corner with a round table for playing, reading, writing...
In the living room there is a TV with DVD player and a radio with CD player. There's also Wlan
From the living room there is a dining room with a long dining table for 10-12 people. From the dining room you reach the kitchen with modern electric cooker, oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, Senseo, electric kettle and all usual kitchen appliances. The kitchen is equipped with sufficient crockery, glasses, cutlery, pots etc..
From the kitchen you enter the bathroom area with a laundry room with washbasin, a separate shower room with additional washbasin and a separate toilet.
From the dining room a terrace door leads to the large terrace and to the rear garden as well as to the road to the street. In summer, the large garden table invites you to take the Mahlteites
To the left of the entrance there is a bedroom with a double bed and a wardrobe
Straight ahead you reach the "children's room" with a bunk bed and shelves. Here there is an additional mattress which can be placed on the floor as required. There is also a fold-out children's travel bed for the youngest.
From the corridor the still original steep staircase leads to the upper floor. A protective grille is fitted at the top to provide security.
Upstairs there is a large bedroom with a double bed, a single bed and two additional mattresses. Laundry and clothes can be stored in the chest of drawers. Two armchairs with coffee table invite you to withdraw
Opposite, facing west to the horizon, is the second bedroom with a 140 cm wide bed and two single beds under the sloping roof ("bunks"). There's also a desk there
In the anteroom to the two bedrooms there is a walk-in wardrobe and a linen chest of drawers.
To the left of the staircase there is a toilet with washbasin. There is also the central gas heating.
Opposite the narrow side of the main house there is a small building with a second shower, another washbasin and an additional toilet
This building also houses the washing machine and another refrigerator with integrated freezer. There are also the cushions for the garden furniture and the highchairs for the children.
In the rear garden area there is another building which is reserved for our private use and is not available for rent.
The large garden can be used to linger and play to the full extent. There is a barbecue area, a place surrounded by hedges for the sun loungers and a garden table for any adjustment. Parasols protect against the sun in summer.

Geersdijk is a small village in northern Beveland, which has partly preserved its old, rural living culture and cultivates art and culture. If you are looking for peace and quiet away from the tourist centres, this is the right place for you.
Geersdjk lies on the Noord-Beveland peninsula, north of the Veersemeer, an embanked former arm of the Scheldt. The Veersemeer with a beach for small children and playgrounds is about 800 walking minutes away. The distance to the North Sea is about 9 km and can easily be reached by bicycle or car
Unfortunately there are no shopping possibilities on the spot. The nearest supermarket, butcher, bazaar ... is located in Kortgene, about 5 km away
Bikes can be rented in Kortgene or Kamperland.

Since 1990 we have rebuilt and extended the house for the personal needs of our 6-person family, who loves water sports and the vastness of the landscape. In the meantime we can no longer use the house so often for professional and personal reasons, so we would like to make it available to people who are looking for relaxation there for similar reasons.
The house is therefore not a typical holiday home from the catalogue, but an individually designed house equipped with personal items. Those who don't mind are very welcome. Children and grandchildren as well as well-educated dogs are always welcome guests.
The house is not suitable for youth groups (up to 25 years). And even groups who want to party would find the local neighborhood annoying. Therefore we ask for your understanding that we would not accept such bookings.
