Dreamy location!!

We have experienced very relaxing and rejuvenating 14 days at Rooten Hus, two couples, in the cozy furnished holiday home. Nothing is missing, but the highlight is the fantastic and quiet location with beautiful sunsets, which we enjoyed very much! Having a car is useful, but the surrounding area is also easy to explore by bike. Since the weather was a bit mixed, we hardly missed the more distant beaches on the Baltic Sea for swimming. Especially recommended for couples with and without children who love peace and nature, with the possibility of quickly visiting nearby small and large towns/cities by car.

The house is top equipped; high quality and more than enough of everything. You feel more like with friends or family, not sparse equipment. In addition, quiet and with a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea.

Entspannung pur

One of the few vacation homes where you immediately want to move in permanently and could, because everything is actually there. In addition to the usual basic equipment, this house shines with many extras and all sorts of small and large everyday helpers that you only miss when you need them. Waffle iron, milk frother, candles, matches, batteries, barbecue lighters, and disposable gloves are just a few examples. Entertainment is also taken care of with board games for every age, many books, etc. The best thing about this house, apart from its dreamy idyllic location, is its condition. Both the property and the house and its furnishings are impeccably maintained. The furniture, the kitchen equipment, the vacuum cleaner, the washing machine, everything is new and high quality, not, as often happens, collected from flea markets. In conclusion, this house is affordable because it is worth its price!

Everything is fine.

We felt very comfortable in the Rooten Hus. The house is lovingly furnished, the equipment leaves nothing to be desired, and the location with the view over the fields to the Salzhaff is fantastic. We enjoyed the peace and the wonderful weather; Wismar, the island of Poel, or the Baltic Sea resorts can be reached by car in a few minutes.

Schöner Urlaub

The house is truly a dream, and in a dream location. You always have to drive a bit with the bike or car to shop or get to the beach, but it is a great starting point for sightseeing tours. Very clean, tidy, and modern equipped. It's good to have a direct contact person on-site.

Peaceful oasis with great views

There is nothing to complain about...a great house in a good quiet location. Everything is there that you need for a nice holiday, including a high chair and cot.
You need to know that you need a car to explore the beautiful surroundings.

Leaves nothing to be desired!

- very friendly landlords and good on-site service;
- child-friendly facilities and surroundings;
- house leaves nothing to be desired: modern, tastefully and lovingly furnished, a variety of books and games on site, all very clean and in as-new condition, great terrace and beautiful balcony with impressive views of the Salzhaff with sunset romance in the evening, great kitchen and spacious daylight bathroom - we felt extremely comfortable! Only downsides:
House
- separate additional billing for utilities in addition to accommodation costs

Location/Area
- the nearest traditional sandy beach is at least 15 to 20 km away – so only easily reachable by car or, with the appropriate fitness, by bike;
- those who value organic food will have to travel long distances and make do with a limited selection in Kühlungsborn, Bad Doberan, and Wismar.

Dream vacation fulfilled!

We (2 adults and 2 children) spent two weeks this summer at Rooten Hus and felt very comfortable all around. The house is cozy and lovingly furnished, nothing is missing, the garden offers plenty of space to play, and the beaches are easily accessible and beautiful by car.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Wunderbarer Blick auf das Salzhaff und die Felder der Umgebung, da das Ferienhaus am Rande einer kleinen Siedlung steht.

free time activities: Mit dem Auto alles kein Problem, Wismar, Kühlungsborn, Rerik das Salzhaff, die Insel Poel...wunderbar zu erfahren und zu erforschen.

shopping facilities: Größere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in ca. 8 km Entfernung, Bäckerei ca. 2 km entfernt in Stove. Für uns alles ideal

It can't get any better!

Actually, one shouldn't praise the FH so much, as then you won't get any free appointments yourself. Quite stupid of us, but holidaymakers should know that they are really well taken care of in this house. The location of the FH is incredibly good. Free view of the Haff, sunsets, morning awakening by the cock of a nearby farm, cows and a "small" bull to pet in the pasture behind the house (we skipped petting the bull :)). For us city dwellers, this was an absolute stress reliever. As for the house itself, I have to keep it brief here as the many lovely details would exceed the scope. But let me just say, there is truly nothing missing here, absolutely nothing! Fireplace, 3 terraces, Weber grill, bathtub for two, home-like kitchen, large double bed without a footboard (I am 2m tall), good bicycles (if desired), and so on. . . . You can also book a different holiday home. Do this and keep our schedule free :)

Fantastic New Year's holiday!

My friend and I spent a few fantastic days at "Rooten Hus" over New Year's Eve 2011/2012. When the front door opened and we entered, we immediately felt at home. We have never experienced such a beautiful atmosphere and amenities in a holiday home before. The only thing my friend complained about was the small television. ;-)

Everything under one roof - enchanting window views, hidden treasures of tranquility, stylish ambiance - here one can spend time idly, even for an extended period. During daydreams, the mind and thoughts align, idleness can indeed be learned.
The books, the pictures, the music, the whole package. Whether inside or outside, everything is wonderful. Those interested in something special should not miss visiting the Glashagenhütte. Thank you very, very much to the really kind and attentive landlords. Great hosts, wonderful location, and super clean!

Vicinity of the holiday home: Natürlich wird für die Erkundung der Umgebung ein Auto benötigt. Im Sommer mag das eventuell anders sein. Aber Spaziergänge bei Kälte oder Wind sind was Besonderes.
Ein Besuch im Cafe -art mare- Kunst und Kaffee in Rerik , Dünenstraße 1, lohnt sich dann auch immer wieder.

free time activities: Wenn man sein Ziel mit dem Auto erreicht hat, stehen einen alle Möglichkeiten zur Freizeitgestaltung offen. Es ist eigentlich auch alles in unmittelbarer Nähe. Aber, man muss eben erst mal ein Stückchen fahren.

shopping facilities: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es mit guten Angeboten in Rerik, Insel Poel oder Neubukow.

On the way Home

From the first minute on, we were ON VACATION! The house is tastefully and harmoniously furnished and very clean. Everything you need is there. Although the booking was a bit cumbersome, everything worked out excellently. A requested baby cot was prepared and despite our delay, there was a warm welcome. It was really pleasant.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Das Haus befindet sich in einer Art Wohnpark aus mehreren Ferienhäusern am Ende einer Straße. Während unserer Anwesenheit wurden da leider die Häuser nebenan tagsüber renoviert.Abends und in der Nacht war eine himmlische Ruhe. Ohne Auto ist man allerdings hoffnungslos aufgeschmissen.

free time activities: Man kann sehr schön radeln und wandern. Die Ostsee ist fußläufig erreichbar und es soll ein toller Strand insbesondere für Kinder sein (im Mai war's natürlich zum Baden zu kalt). Ansonsten sind in erreichbarer Nähe viele tolle Sachen. Z.B. das Wonnemar in Wismar ist ganz nett.

shopping facilities: Ein mittelmäßiger Bäcker ist im Nachbardorf (ca. 3 km), die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Man hat aber ja Urlaub und daher ist das alles kein Problem.

Vacation from the beginning

We have never stayed in a holiday home so lovingly and harmoniously furnished, perfectly equipped, and clean. The beautifully landscaped garden with a view of the Salzhaff and the grazing cattle in front of it (reminding us of home) exceeded our expectations. Beautiful!

We were four people in the beautifully modern furnished cottage overlooking the Salzhaff, and we all really liked it! Perfect for families, you can have a relaxing holiday and, due to its fairly central location, also take a trip to the nearby area or the sea. Everything just as we imagine a holiday home to be!
