Description
In the holiday home, which was newly completed in 2018, there are 5 bedrooms on the ground and first floor. 3 bedrooms are equipped with double beds (180 x 200 cm each; 2 of them are box spring beds) and 2 bedrooms have 2 single beds each. 3 bathrooms are available for the holidaymakers on the ground floor and the first floor. All bathrooms have showers, in one bathroom you will also find a bathtub. Liquid soap and a filled toilet paper container are in each bathroom, hair dryer is in the bathroom cupboard.
In the converted attic area there is another living/bedroom with a single bed and a sofa bed (150 x 200 cm) for max. 3 persons. You will also find a spacious bathroom with shower there
All bedrooms include a flat screen TV, large wardrobe and smoke detector. Free sockets for charging smartphones have also been provided. In one bedroom there is also a cot (1.4 m x 0.7 m). In the other two bedrooms with double bed, 2 more children's travel beds can be set up for a fee, as there is enough space. Highchairs for children can be provided for a fee. The upper floor can be secured for the little ones by a stair gate. In total there are 14 sleeping possibilities (11 beds + 1 sofa bed for 2 persons; couch in the kitchen-living room) and a cot available
The large kitchen-living room is equipped with enough chairs, large extendable tables and a large kitchen (2 refrigerators + extra freezer). There are enough dishes and glasses (usually 18 and more), so that there is also a plate or glass left over when the dishwasher is running. Double coffee machine and double long-slot toaster are designed for large breakfasts. Oven with ceramic hob, kettle and microwave are of course also included. Dish towels, tea lights, rubbish bags, dishcloths, dishwasher tabs and washing-up liquid are also provided. We have put together a wide selection of kitchen utensils for you. There is room for 10 to 14 people at the two large kitchen tables (2nd table extended).
In addition to the large flatscreen for watching together, there is also a DVD player and CD radio from Sony.
The terrace furniture is also designed for the number of people. In addition to 2 large sunshades, there are also two beach chairs and a large barbecue available on the 50 m² terrace. Sun loungers can also be provided.
There is free WLAN throughout the house. Washing machine and dryer can be used for a fee and by arrangement.

Location and surroundings of object
Rügen is Germany's largest island. The diverse landscape with kilometre-long sandy beaches and 3 national parks attracts beach holidaymakers as well as hikers, cyclists, anglers and short breaks. In the north of the island on the Wittow peninsula, there is still room for everyone and hectic is a foreign word. The new holiday home is located on the outskirts of Altenkirchen. Cape Arkona can easily be reached by bicycle (rental 200 m from the house) in 6 km. From there you can explore the steep coast of the Wittow peninsula. From Wiek and Breege you can easily reach Hiddensee and the Störtebeker Festival by boat. The longest beach on Rügen, the 'Schaabe', is 2 km away (no parking fee) and can be reached by bike in 10 minutes. Parking spaces are available at the house as well as the possibility to barbecue. Shopping and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity (250 - 350 m).

We are from Fredersdorf on the outskirts of Berlin and our children have known the Baltic Sea from an early age. The beach has always been the best holiday spot for them.
