The ground floor 3 1/2 room apartment with garden is in a 2 family house with private pool, which is very quiet above the chestnut forest just above Lake Maggiore.
The 3 ½ room apartment has a large living-dining room with open fireplace and a wonderful view. In the children's room it has up to 3 beds. You can make a double bed and a single bed. The children's room has its own bathroom. The spacious master bedroom has views of the lake, garden and mountains. Next to it is the bathroom.
The kitchen is practical and has dishwasher, oven, ceramic plates, large fridge freezer and what else you have at home.
The house has a pergola, where you can sit comfortably and protected, the house has a plowed garden with a 13 m long heated pool, which can be used from spring to autumn. The house is located just above Lake Maggiore so you have a fantastic view.
The pool is for both apartments. Both apartments have their own seats and a private garden, so everyone has their privacy.
Both apartments have enough chairs and loungers. Also, both apartments have Internet, television and a stereo.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is located just above the village on a very quiet, sunny hill. It is located on a restricted road with a wonderful view of the lake and mountains. Below the house is a chestnut-Akatienwald and on the right side of the house is a large meadow on which you can play, if you want. The house is about a 10-minute walk and a 3-minute drive from the village center of the harbor town of Poto Valtravaglia. It has almost no neighbors, so you really have your peace. Directly from the house you can go on hikes or bike rides.
Porto Valtravaglia is a small typical Italian hamlet. It has an old town center with narrow streets and a boardwalk lined with promenade with a small marina, playground and pebble beach. This picturesque village has a greengrocer's shop, a bakery, bars, cafes, restaurants, hairdressers and a supermarket and a train station. It offers direct links to Milan Malpensa Airport and other cities in the region.
Portovaltravaglia is an ideal starting point for excursions to neighboring cities, such as Luino, Varese, Milan, Lugano, or to the Boromae Islands.
Also, Porto is an ideal starting point for hiking, cycling or swimming fun.
The weekly market in Luino is 10 minutes away by car and from Laveno you can be in hours by train in Milan or 20 minutes by ferry in Verbania.

Paradise
We were allowed to enjoy our holiday in this paradise for 1 week
The house and the property are built, furnished and laid out with a lot of love and even more passion. Nothing is missing in the house, it is equipped with all comforts. The beautiful large heated pool, with a gigantic view over Lake Maggiore is a dream,
as well as an enchanting garden with its various seating areas under very beautiful roses and palm trees invites you to relax and linger
The car also finds a shady place on the property under a carport.
Many thanks to the Blank family for the very warm welcome. We would love to visit your little paradise on the Largo Maggiore again.
