The apartment on the lower floor of a single-family house built on a slope has 2 separate bedrooms, no problem if someone wants to sleep alone.
There are 4 sleeping options, according to Italian law only 3 beds may be occupied!
The apartment is accessible via a separate external staircase and is located directly on the lake.
There are no other tenants in this house, the upper area is private.

Beautiful summer holidays

The apartment is simple, with a comfortable bedroom, a simple indoor living room, a modern bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen. Each room has a beautiful lake view. The outdoor living room, the terrace, is simply a dream, with a dream view and an outdoor shower. 2 stairs down, a cozy spot, with a magical view. One more stair down and you stand on the private beach. Simply wonderful. The owner and his dog welcomed us very warmly; they were a delight. He has become a friend to us.
The pictures and description of Casa della Palme correspond 1 to 1 with the truth. The name, della Palme, could not fit better, as the garden is full of palm trees of all sizes.
The price-performance ratio is perfect.
The location, the apartment, the view, the owner, the dog, the beach, the lake... we would have preferred to stay there.
We will definitely come back.

Palm House

The natural location is truly unique, and the entire property is planted with countless palm trees and beautiful hydrangeas. The view from the terrace of the lake and the mountains is incredible, and down at the private beach, it is simply wonderful. There is also a nice shady corner where one can retreat when it gets too hot. Thank you Jürgen and Zeus for the wonderful days with you.

Holiday directly on Lake Maggiore

Accommodation is right on the lake; down the stairs you can swim in the lake. Really unique. Clean accommodation, terrace with incredible lake view to the west (sunset). Extremely friendly and helpful landlord, there are restaurant and excursion tips, water sports equipment for hire. Absolutely recommendable, we will definitely come back.

Quiet idyll

Holiday apartment in Steinwurf near Lake Maggiore.

Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is available. In reality, it's even more beautiful than in the pictures.

The landlord helped us well with our questions and was very helpful. Although he lives directly above the rental apartment, we hardly noticed him.

We have been guests there multiple times and always like to come back.

Looking forward to next year,

Everything to our complete satisfaction - a great holiday !

The house is as described by the landlord in a top location with lake view and access via stairs. The clear water is pleasant and a cool down after each day's excursion was a must. The landlord was always approachable and could give great tips regarding excursions and parking possibilities. The terrace was our main place of stay and is not visible to strangers. The equipment of the apartment was functional and nothing was missing. We will definitely come back.

Simple, but beautiful

The location and views are simply great. Breakfast or grilling in the sunset on the terrace with a great view between the palm trees... what more could you want?
The homeowner is super friendly and always tries to fulfill every wish.
The apartment is certainly not a luxury apartment but equipped with everything you need. "Private beach" and all kinds of water equipment (boats) are provided.
First vacation there, and certainly not the last. Will go again if possible this year.

Walking holiday at Lake Garda

The location of the house by the lake is beautiful, with the lake accessible via 2 sets of stairs to a private beach. The view from the apartment and the terrace in front of it is wonderful. Unfortunately, the design and organization, beauty, and technology of the surroundings of the house and the private beach property are not compatible with that of nature. Much is amateurishly built or assembled, the installed stoves did not work, the advertised sauna would be immediately shut down as a publicly usable sauna, from the amateurishly laid flexible hoses (available to purchase as kitchen exhaust hoses) smoke poured out at the connection points everywhere and initially filled the sauna with smoke. The sauna is not allowed to be operated by guests. However, my wife and I only had to pay a special price of 20€ instead of 40€ for using the sauna once, as the landlord also used it after us. I took pictures of some things, including the sauna. Unfortunately, there were misunderstandings with the landlord, Mr. Kauth, regarding verbal agreements at the beginning and end, so we could not say goodbye in satisfaction.

Ausstattung Bewertung 2
Die Bilder im Netz sind zu 100% so wie das Haus und der Garten ist! Die Lage ist die schönste am See, dass steht in mehreren Reiseführern. Meine Nachbarn wären sicher nicht San Pellegrino und Berlosconi wenn die Lage nicht sehr gut wäre! Das sollte eine 5 sein!

Wir haben die Miete um -------- 38% gesenkt. Und dafür bekomme ich eine 1,5 ??

Die Sauna welche Herr B. zuvor besichtigt hat, habe ich alleine im Preis um 50% reduziert.
Die „nicht öffentliche“ Sauna ist eine Spezialkonstruktion, mit einem Holzofen mit Sichtfenster! Ein flexibles doppelwandiges Edelstahlrohre „Preis pro Meter 50,-€“ führt den Rauch unter einer Konstruktion von Granit-platten nach außen. Die Sauna ist nicht öffentlich, sondern privat.
Es ist auch normal das ein Holzofen die ersten 15Minuten sichtbaren Rauch entwickelt, der dann bei richtiger Temperatur und Holz verschwindet, deshalb hat man ja die teuren Edelstahl Rohre um diesen Rauch nach außen zu leiten.
In der Sauna steht eine Kiste mit Holz zum nachlegen, ein Behälter für dem Aufguss, eine kleine Stereoanlage, und unter der unteren der 3Liegen liegt ein neues flexibles Edelstahlrohr.

Am Samstag wollte Herr B. nach Cannobio auf den Markt! Ich erklärte ihm das Samstags in Intra Markt sei, durch meine Hilfe fuhren sie dann nach Intra, war laut Herrn B. alles nicht so schön, Frau B. Empfand dies anders.
Am ersten Abend kam Herr B. und meinte es sei ihnen zu kalt. Ich brachte dann gleich einen Heizer runter und fragte ob sonst alles ok sei, was mit sehr gut bestätigt wurde.
Unter anderem habe ich auch Toilettenpapier nach unten gebracht da Sie nicht daran gedacht hatten. Und ich tauschte ein Lampenbirne welche die Fassung verschmort hatte!!
Jeder Mieter in den letzten 20Jahren in jeweils 5-10Häusern die ich betreue habe ich immer die Höchstnote für den Service erhalten...sprich 5 Sterne

Die Heizkosten von 100,-€ habe ich Herrn B. erst gar nicht berechnet!
Ich wollte nur als Geste des Anstandes die 20,-€ der Sauna, die Herr B. aber nicht zahlen wollte.
Seine Frau hat mir dann die 20,-€ gegeben und die Fam. ist schnell abgefahren.
