Description

The small, cosy flat is located on a farm in an absolutely quiet natural setting. You are welcome to help yourself to the large fruit and vegetable garden. Fresh eggs from the farm and home-made jams are a real treat at breakfast. In front of the house there is a seating area, a barbecue corner, a swing and a large parasol. A parking space, covered bicycle shelter, Wi-Fi and a child's travel cot are available free of charge. Breakfast, bed linen and towels can be booked on request.

The flat offers 20 m² of space for 2 people and a small child. The living/bedroom is equipped with a high-quality sofa bed (1.60 m wide), a single bed, 2 armchairs, table and satellite TV. The windows are protected from insects and can be darkened. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary for self-catering. In the bathroom you have a shower, washbasin and WC at your disposal. The flat is located on the ground floor, is barrier-free and has its own entrance.

Location and surroundings of object

Losten is a district of Bad Kleinen on Lake Schwerin. The lake is the 3rd largest inland lake in Germany and offers many possibilities on land and on the water. In 5 km you reach the centre of Bad Kleinen with lake view restaurant, guarded outdoor swimming pool, shopping facilities, baker, bank, doctors, post office and much more. You will find the fisherman, with snacks and sales, boat rental, bicycle rental, tourist information and fishing permit sales in the next village of Hohen Viecheln. Short distances to the state capital Schwerin and the Hanseatic city of Wismar ensure plenty of variety and numerous leisure opportunities. The beautiful beaches of the Baltic Sea can be reached in about 25 minutes. The Baltic Sea resorts of Kühlungsborn, Warnemünde, the Hanseatic city of Rostock and Lübeck can also be reached by car within 1 hour.

Holiday on the farm

Very friendly landlords, poor internet in the accommodation, not always good air because of a nearby livestock farm, very good breakfast, we liked the garden and the many animals, very well maintained, would gladly return.

Vacation on a farm

We were very kindly received and felt very comfortable with all the animals on the farm - great. Mrs. Hieß is very concerned about the well-being of the guests, also gives tips on what is worth seeing. Unfortunately, due to the Corona pandemic, the gastronomy was still very limited. The landscape is very beautiful in the area. It was a very nice vacation. The property is very well maintained.

I stayed here overnight in the middle of winter and was shocked by the situation. There is no central heating, only an electronic one, which is completely useless. It doesn't heat the whole room, and this heater is incredibly loud, so you can't sleep at night. There was only ice-cold water. On the first day, I couldn't shower because I couldn't find the landlady, the next day I was allowed to shower at her place. In their family house, without the possibility of locking the door, I had to cross the entire garden with wet hair in sub-zero temperatures to get to my apartment. I immediately got sick overnight. I shivered all night. It is unreasonable to offer something like this in the 21st century and even charge money for it.

Sehr geehrte Frau Jörz,
vielen Dank für Ihr Feedback, welches wir selbstverständlich sehr ernst nehmen. An besagtem Wochenende gab es bei uns enorme Stromschwankungen, die sich negativ auf die Warmwasserzubereitung mittels Durchlauferhitzer ausgewirkt haben. Die Beheizung des Wohnraumes und des Bades erfolgt über Elektroheizung und kann und sollte je nach Bedarf durch den Bewohner eigenmächtig reguliert werden. Jeder Gast wird dahingehend informiert. Es tut mir leid, dass Sie eine solch negative Erfahrung bei uns machen mussten, andererseits hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass sie ihren Unmut uns gegenüber ehrlich geäussert hätten - wir hätten auch eine andere, zufriedenstellende Lösung gefunden.

Bisher gab es hinsichtlich der Raumtemperaturen und auch der Warmwasserversorgung keinerlei Beschwerden. Die Wohnung ist bisher und weiterhin durchgehend ausgebucht und es gab bisher keinerlei Beanstandungen.

Es war toll

The vacation rental is small but nice. The property is also very well maintained. There were two adults, a small child, and a baby. There was enough space for sleeping, and nothing was missing. Mr. and Mrs. Hieß are very nice and always had an open ear. We felt very comfortable. Our daughter had a lot of fun on the property, with the animals and also with Mr. and Mrs. Hieß; they showed her everything and explained. The surroundings offer a lot of nature, water, and excursion destinations. Shopping facilities can also be quickly reached by car. It was really great. We would like to thank Mr. Hieß and Mrs. Hieß very much for the great days. Many lovely greetings from Joachimsthal.
