Description
The idyllic and quietly situated holiday home offers enough space for the whole family. The 95 m² living space is divided into two floors. From the entrance of the house you enter the large kitchen with dining area, which is directly connected to the living area. This is equipped with satellite TV and a sofa bed. From the living area you reach the conservatory with sofa, satellite TV and a view of the greenery. On the ground floor there is also a bathroom with shower and toilet and a small utility room with washing machine. A staircase leads to the upper floor. Here you will find the two bedrooms, each with 2 single beds, as well as a second WC. Internet is available in the entire house. Your dog is very welcome.
In front of the house is a large, sheltered terrace with a view of the garden. Here you can enjoy the sun all day long. The large lawn invites you to play and relax. There is another toilet in the garden. You can park directly in front of the house. The approx. 500 m² large property is fenced in. 2 rental bicycles and a bicycle storage room for your own bicycles are available.

Losten is a district of Bad Kleinen on Lake Schwerin. A playground and a dog exercise area of the dog sports school is approx. 100 m away. A natural bathing area at Lake Losten is about 600 m away. Lake Schwerin, with water sports facilities, boat hire, a supervised outdoor lake swimming pool, fishing spots and fishermen, is about 4 km away. You can get freshly caught fish and a snack at the fisherman's daily. The region invites you, directly in front of the door, to extensive cycling tours around the Schwerin lake or through the nature reserve Döpe. you can rent 2 bicycles for a small fee directly on site and a bicycle rental is located 3.5 km away. Supermarkets, small shops, pharmacy, bakery, ATM, doctors and restaurant with lake view are in the centre of Bad Kleinen, 3 km away.
The state capital Schwerin, with its beautiful castle, passenger ships, museums, theatres, shopping centres, zoo, climbing forest and much more, can be reached in 17 km. The Hanseatic city of Wismar, which is a World Heritage Site, is 14 km away. Here you will find the historic old town and the harbour as well as a cinema, zoo, adventure pool with sauna area and more. The Baltic Sea beach in Zierow is only 22 km away. The Baltic Sea resorts of Kühlungsborn and Warnemünde, the Hanseatic city of Rostock, the Hanseatic city of Lübeck or the island of Poel are ideal for day trips. All places can be reached by car within 1 h.

Feel-good vacation
We felt very comfortable in the FH. It was very quiet there and everything was available and in order. The landlady was very nice and gave us good tips for excursions. It was only 2 km to Lake Schwerin. We can only recommend the accommodation.

Calm and cozy
The holiday home had everything we needed. It is clean, nicely furnished, cozy, and has good mattresses. The view from the winter garden out into the garden was an absolute highlight for us.
It is not far to Wismar and Schwerin. And shopping can be done very well in nearby Bad Kleinen.
In Hohen Viecheln, there is a fisherman from whom you can get freshly caught fish.
The stench from the nearby pig farm (40 thousand animals...) is dependent on the wind and weather. We were lucky that it was only really bad for one day. Otherwise, it was bearable.
In both directions out of the village, there is the worst cobblestone pavement on the road that cannot be avoided. Fortunately, in the direction of Wismar, it is only a few hundred meters. A bus connection is practically non-existent. This must be clear from the outset. A vehicle is absolutely necessary, as the small village of Losten is quite remote, but it is wonderfully quiet.
There is a 28-inch bicycle that can be borrowed. Unfortunately, I have legs that are too short...
The holiday home is located in the garden of the landlady, who has her seating area opposite "our" terrace and sits there with her visitors. It did not bother us at all. Mrs. Baumgart is one of the most likeable and helpful landlords we have ever met. She always had an open ear for me and gave us very good excursion tips.

Perfect accommodation
We spent nine days in the holiday home Baumgart with our dog and two others. It was the perfect vacation. Our hostess was polite, helpful, and extraordinarily hospitable. The house has everything needed for a vacation - even a fan. It was clean, and we were particularly taken with the terrace that had several seating options. The location is optimal for excursions to cities like Schwerin, Wismar, etc. And right in front of the door lies a beautiful forest and Lake Loster. Those who want to rest, relax, and recharge should travel to this wonderful place. The Baumgart holiday home is highly recommended.

Holiday home in Losten
The holiday home is well furnished for 4 people, located in a quiet area.
Good for nature lovers, located directly by the forest with good hiking opportunities.
Shopping options are 3 to 4 km away.
We and our dog felt very comfortable there.
We can highly recommend the house and would gladly return to the accommodation.

Nach Wismar und Schwerin ist es nicht weit. Und Einkaufen kann man sehr gut im nahen Bad Kleinen.
In Hohen Viecheln gibt es einen Fischer, bei dem man fangfrischen Fisch bekommt.
Der Gestank durch die nahegelegene Schweinezucht (40 tausend Tiere...) - ist wind- und wetterabhängig. Wir hatten Glück, dass es nur an einem Tag richtig schlimm war. Ansonsten war es erträglich.
In beiden Richtungen raus aus dem Dorf liegt auf der Straße allerschlimmstes Kopfsteinpflaster, das man nicht vermeiden kann. In Richtung Wismar glücklicherweise nur ein paar hundert Meter. Eine Busverbindung ist praktisch nicht vorhanden. Das muss einem von vornherein klar sein. Ein Fahrzeug ist zwingend notwendig, da der kleine Ort Losten doch sehr abgeschieden liegt, dafür ist es aber wunderbar ruhig.
Es gibt ein 28er Fahrrad, das man sich ausleihen darf. Leider habe ich zu kurze Beine...
Das Ferienhaus steht im Garten der Vermieterin, die ihren Sitzplatz gegenüber von "unserer" Terrasse hat und dort eben auch mit ihren Besuchern sitzt. Uns hat es überhaupt nicht gestört.
Frau Baumgart ist eine der sympathischsten und hilfsbereitesten Vermieterinnen, die wir je kennengelernt haben. Sie hatte immer ein offenes Ohr für mich und hat uns sehr gute Ausflugstipps gegeben.
Gut für Naturverbundene , liegt direkt am Wald mit guten wandermmöglichkeiten
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten 3 bis 4 km entfernt.
Wir und unser Hund haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.
Wir können das Haus nur sehr empfehlen und fahren gerne wieder in die Unterkunft.
Schwerin , Schweriner See , Wismar ,Poel, Ostsee sehr gut und schnell erreichbar.
Es ist sehr sauber, viel Platz und die Vermieterin unglaublich nett. Sie kümmert sich sofort um jedes Anliegen.
Wir können es jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Erwähnenswert die Städte Wimar und Schwerin. Ein Minus für die schlechte Anfahrt. Ist eine Zumutung für Gäste und Anwohner. Unser Tip,Anreise über Bad Kleinen und da die B106 nehmen.
Sehr herzliche Vermieter und ein Wald direkt vor der Tür.
Zudem sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen.
unsere Mia fand es auch sehr schön,daher kommen wir 2021 auch wieder.
Nur zu empfehlen wenn man erholsamen Urlaub machen will.
Alles top und sehr gepflegt.
