The apartment has a terrace (below). The bedroom is newly furnished. The living room also sleeps up to 3 people. Digital LED TV 82 cm with WiFi and 50 German SAT programs. The kitchen has a 2-burner stove, with glasses, dishes, pots, dish soap, dishwasher, towels. The kitchen has completely new furniture, toaster, refrigerator with 50l freezer compartment, vacuum cleaner, cutlery are available.
On the terrace are table and 6 chairs.

Your holiday home is located directly on the lake.
Only 10 m to the beach, where you will be spoilt by several restaurants and other specialities such as langos and palatcsinta, with a large selection of drinks.
It is about 300 m from the flat to the centre of the village.
Balatonszemes is a quiet, clean place where you can feel very comfortable. On Saturdays the municipality organises a concert at the music pavilion, directly at the railway station, with alternating music (folklore, theatre music, Dixieland). Every week a different band. At the harbour you can book round trips by boat. On Saturdays the disco boat leaves from the harbour and the local people are very polite. At the harbour you can get in touch with other fishing enthusiasts

Beautiful holiday directly on the beach

The holiday flat has a TOP location in Balatonszemes. To get to the beach, you only have to cross the small street directly in front of the house. At the beach there are several snack possibilities, a nice playground and a pedal boat rental. The harbour is about a 2-minute walk away and the centre of the village with its various shops and restaurants is about a 5-10-minute walk away. The bakery is about a 20-minute walk away.

The landlord is very friendly and helpful. The flat was handed over directly on arrival and departure.

The flat has a beautiful terrace with a limited view of Lake Balaton, where you can sit comfortably at any time. The holiday flat has a small bedroom with a double bed and a living area with two sleeping possibilities. In the open kitchen there is a fridge with freezer, two hotplates, coffee maker, kettle, microwave and dishwasher. The bathroom and WC are separate. There is a shower possibility in the bathtub. In our opinion, the bathroom is not up to today's standards and could be modernised. But you don't spend much time in the bathroom, so it's okay for a week or two of holiday.

All in all, you can spend a nice holiday here.

Landlord friendly almost invisible although he lives on the property helpful if you need anything in the house everything available if you want to cook yourself plus points everything close by one of the most beautiful holidays on Lake Balaton except for the weather will definitely come again

Familienurlaub

Great landlord, we had booked the upstairs unit and were allowed to use the downstairs apartment from August 15th. Great beach with a swimming pool and good gastronomy. Town center quickly accessible on foot. Stay healthy, Mr. D. Hammeley.

GLADLY AGAIN

Everything as described, a great beach right in front of the house. Very friendly landlord. The local gastronomy is simply great and easy to reach on foot. We will definitely come back!

Family vacation with a dog

Specified equipment not all available. Iron, table tennis table, and sun loungers were missing. Bathing with a dog prohibited throughout the entire town, somewhat inconvenient.
Location of the apartment 1a. Cleanliness does not meet German standards. Landlord lives on the property in a garden house directly in front of the bedroom.
Apartment spacious, plenty of space. Overall, the apartment is still recommended.

Holiday August 2020

We stayed in the upper holiday apartment and were very satisfied. Everything was available and we didn't have to buy anything right away for the first time. Also very nice was the beach right across the street, it was free and you could have meals there anytime. The apartment had a balcony in the front and back. The landlord is very friendly and helpful. It was one of our most beautiful vacations. Thank you again.

Top Lage

The accommodation is very good and close to the beach. Shops and pubs are quickly reachable on foot. Landlord provides a grill. The terrace is very large. Dogs and children are also welcome. There is a fair in the village.

Holiday apartment near the beach?

Stayed at this accommodation for the third time. The Balaton, a restaurant, and a playground are across the street. Dogs were allowed in the accommodation but not on the beach. There is a small entertainment area close to the accommodation. We enjoy spending our holiday here.

Top accommodation at Lake Balaton

Spent a week of summer vacation in early August 2019 in Balatonzemes at Mr. Dieter Hammeley's place. The accommodation is located opposite a public beach (about 15m away) and offers plenty of recreational activities. Numerous restaurants and shopping options are also within walking distance. Mr. Hammeley's accommodation has everything you need and is in very good condition by Hungarian standards. For the equipment, there were only 4.5 out of possible 5 points because every little detail was considered. And there were really only minor details that are not worth mentioning. And where something is rented out, it is naturally clear that occasionally little things may arise. Mr. Hammeley is always eager to maintain his accommodation at a high standard and also to improve it further. A landlord as one would wish for!!! He is always available for information, questions, and concerns, and is a very helpful and nice landlord. A stay here is highly recommended!!! PS: Thanks again, Dieter, for your hospitality, and see you again soon!!!!

Summer Vacation 2019

It's a shame that we couldn't say goodbye in person, as we had to start our journey home at short notice. This was our third time here, and as always, it was a dreamlike and relaxing holiday. Pleasant relaxation

As a family, we spent 2 weeks in your house. The apartment is functional, clean, and very close to the beach. The terrace is spacious. I can't understand what the previous tenant was complaining about. Would come back again anytime.

More appearance than reality.

We found it quite dirty. Spider webs everywhere. Syphon in the bathroom completely rusted. No fly screens on the windows. You have to completely close everything otherwise the mosquitoes will eat you alive. That means... all windows closed and that at 33 degrees.
An apartment without Wi-Fi today is a no go.
There is a small bedroom with one bed. All other sleeping options are in the living room. I never saw a table tennis table, etc.
I would never book there again at this price. Furthermore, the landlord lives on the property... that should also be included in the description.

Leider warst du eine Woche zu früh bei mir. Seit Montag kann man dich hier mit WLan erreichen.Die Mücken sind ausgerottet. Nicht eine ist mehr zu sehen. Die Tischtennisplatte wird wieder im Bad aufgebaut. (Vor einer Woche noch Baustelle). Schlafzimmer hat ein Doppelbett .Das dürfte ausreichen.2 Schlafmöglichkeiten im Wohnzimmer. Spinnweben kommen halt innerhalb 14 Tagen. Die kann man auch selbst mit dem Besen entfernen. Bei Einzug war die Wohnung anscheinend sauber,es kam keineReklamation bei der Vorbesichtigung.
Wünsche Euch trotz miserabler Bewertung weiterhin eine schöne Zeit.
