Location and surroundings of object
Balatonszemes, is situated on the picturesque Lake Balaton. The place is very easy to reach and has a motorway connection (M7), road no. 7 and has a good railway connection to Budapest, Nagykanisza and Kesztely (Györ). Various thermal baths are not far away and can be easily reached by car. Restaurants and snack bars of various flavours are within walking distance in Balatonszemes. Balatonszemes has a large marina and two lidos. The house itself is situated in a quiet residential area, away from the main road and railway. Leena House is the holiday home for my whole family. We bought the property with the shell in 1996. Since then, the project has continued to develop with new ideas and individual renovations. The house is not an investment property, where the aim is to maximise income. The rental prices are correspondingly high. We now have many "regular guests", some of whom are already friends of ours.
