just great .. a beautiful vacation

We felt very comfortable in this house for 12 days.
The existing pictures correspond 1:1 to what you find on site. A cozy farmhouse with no shortage of amenities. The floor plan and low ceiling height in the stair area may take some getting used to on the first day, but they give this house a unique character. The property is furnished with great attention to detail. There is enough space for 4 people. A large kitchen and a large living room (1st floor) offer space for the family.
The large terrace invites you to eat and drink (water from your own well) with a fantastic view of Schaufling, weather permitting (of which we had plenty).
The property is located away from the village of Schaufling and can be reached via a little-traveled (because finally also gravelly forest) path. If you are looking for peace and quiet on vacation, this is the place for you. In the village (about 1 km away) there is a village shop where you can buy the essentials (e.g. delicious rolls). We did all our shopping in Deggendorf (about 10 km away), where all major chains are represented.
The recreational program is excellent for hiking. Excursions to the Danube or Passau were also on the program, as well as a climbing garden and a bobsled track in the leisure paradise of St. Englmar (40 km away but well worth a visit). Bowling, mini golf, and golf (6 km) are offered in Deggendorf (6 km). We were also very impressed by the idea and implementation of animal rescue at Gut Aiderbichel.
We felt very comfortable there. A nice vacation.

Das Ferienhaus am Edberg koennen wir uneingeschraenkt weiterempfehlen. Von der Begruessung bis zur Verabschiedung hat alles prima gepasst. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Kuechenausstattung umfangreich (Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Wasserkocher, Geschirr, Besteck u.v.m.) Ausreichende Einkaufsmoeglichkeiten im Ort Schaufling. Wanderwege in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Wir kommen sicher wieder.
