Our log cabin offers you plenty of space to relax and unwind (approx. 120sqm) for up to 6 people.
The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Outside you will find the whirlpool, the sauna, a sun terrace and a covered terrace.

Our new log cabin is located in the municipality of Spiegelau in the Bavarian Forest.
Many excursion destinations await you there, such as: the Rachel, Lusen and Arber; many hiking trails directly on site and in the whole surrounding area; the Lusen National Park Centre in Neuschönau with a large animal enclosure and tree-top walk; various museums; a natural swimming pool in Spiegelau; an open-air swimming pool in Grafenau and several lakes.
In summer and winter, a wide variety of leisure activities can be enjoyed, such as Hiking (cleared winter hiking trails in winter); cycling; mountain biking; climbing; tobogganing; skiing; cross-country skiing (cross-country skiing centre Spiegelau-Klingenbrunn 3 min. drive); sledging; snowshoeing, swimming;...and much more.

the price is worth it!!!
We were initially a bit skeptical because we had never spent so much money on a vacation home (we were "only" two people with a dog), but it was really worth it.
We had never seen such a clean house before. Little decoration, but the wooden interior made the house look very friendly and cozy. Thanks to the clean windows, every room had a wonderful view.
We were initially a bit hesitant about the kitchen equipment (e.g. no teapot, no lemon squeezer, no thermos), but we bought some things and were reimbursed without any problems.
Overall, the contact with Mrs. Elias, although not personal, was very friendly and helpful. She was always available, and I think she would have immediately helped if there had been more serious problems.
The garden is completely fenced, which was great for our dog, and the covered, secluded terrace with the outdoor hot tub is fantastic. The clean sauna also provides a great experience.
The house is very quiet, which we personally loved. However, if you want to go out to eat in the evening, you have to take the car.
Mobile phone reception in Althütte and the surrounding area was rather poor, but the internet in the house worked perfectly.
Overall, we had a fantastic week (with great weather too ;), thank you for that!

Dreamy?
We were 5 female friends in our mid-40s and just needed a break. This wonderful house fulfilled every wish. We immediately felt that we were dealing with wonderful hosts here. Everything went smoothly, quickly, and perfectly. The Elias family was available around the clock! It was a great time for us and we will definitely come back! Thank you for EVERYTHING!

Great accommodation
We spent 14 days of family vacation in the beautiful house. The house is very well designed, modern and well equipped. The landlords are particularly accommodating, friendly and helpful. This holiday home can be recommended without reservation.

Perfect! Highly recommended.
We arrived with our 1-year-old son and our 2 dogs. The holiday home is wonderfully quiet, high quality furnished and absolutely clean. The equipment is perfect, nothing was missing. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. Since the house is completely fenced, it is ideal for children as well as dogs. The landlords are very friendly and accommodating... so all in all a perfect vacation. Would love to come back !!

Wonderful recreation
