Description
Welcome to our holiday home in the Jägerwiesen holiday park at Lake Erlauzwiesel in Waldkirchen, Lower Bavaria in the Bavarian Forest, which was completely renovated and refurbished in July 2019.
Here you can enjoy your family holiday but also a romantic couple's holiday in your own little house with a cottage feeling. Sloping roofs, old beams and clever indirect lighting make the cottage a cosy retreat where you can also enjoy yourself without going outside.

The beds are freshly made on arrival.
Outside, on our small property, you will find a large wooden terrace with whirlpool and sauna, seating area, rocking chairs, lawn and a beautifully grown plot with numerous trees and bushes that provide shade in summer. There are also deck chairs and a cold water outdoor shower (in the frost-free months).

- Larger and nicer terrace area with enlarged veranda
- new whirlpool with automatic dosing system for ph and chlorine
The price includes fresh bed linen and a towel set (1x per stay/guest), as well as sauna, whirlpool, electricity, water, heating and rubbish.
A baby travel cot can be added in the large bedroom.

In winter, there is a winter service in the holiday complex that maintains the public roads and paths. The path to the house entrance on our private property is cleared upon your arrival. Otherwise, the guest is responsible for clearing the snow on the private property during their stay. Snow shovels are available.
One dog (two on request) is welcome. The property is fenced in (slats approx. 5 cm apart, height approx. 80 cm). The narrow and somewhat steep stairs to the sleeping quarters on the upper floor are problematic for many dogs - the fur noses should therefore have their sleeping quarters on the ground floor.

Holiday in a great vacation home
First of all, many thanks to Claudia and Nino Werthmann for this great holiday home. All our expectations were exceeded by far. They were there for us at all times when we didn't immediately understand how to operate the devices. The cleanliness and equipment are excellent and in top condition. This was not our last vacation in this idyll. Everything is taken care of and included in the price. Highly recommended!!!

We felt really comfortable again.
We are here for the second time, this time with our dog. We feel super comfortable in this great cabin 40 :)
Everything is so lovingly decorated and prepared. Nino welcomed us very nicely, just like last time. The sauna and the pool are simply great, a fireplace provides cozy moments of well-being in the evening now that it is getting cooler. The tranquility here is especially beautiful, as well as the many opportunities for walks and hikes. We always enjoy our time here very much and would love to come back.

Simply fantastic!
We stayed for 5 days with our daughter and our small dog for the second time in cabin 40. We were once again greeted very kindly by the landlord Mr. Werthmann and instructed in the use of the whirlpool, sauna, etc. The cabin was, as always, in top condition - clean, well-maintained, decorated with love. The small fenced garden is also always perfectly cared for and prepared! Just to feel good! We can highly recommend this vacation home and will come back!

Cosy cottage with great attention to detail
We spent a very nice and relaxing short holiday with our dog in cottage 40.
The cottage has a great location directly on the lake. A path leads through the adjacent forest to the Schauerbach, which is perfect for our daily walks.
We were welcomed by Mr Werthmann himself, who first explained everything to us.
The cottage 40 was very well equipped with everything we needed (bed linen, towels, sauna infusion etc.), it was very clean and fantastically cosy with a lot of attention to detail.
The highlight was of course the sauna and the whirlpool in the outdoor area, where you could end the evenings with a glass of champagne (thank you for that!).
The landlords were very cordial and if we had a small problem during our holiday, Mr Werthmann helped us immediately.
We can unreservedly recommend the cottage 40 and thank you for the super nice (unfortunately too short) time out! :)
We will definitely be back.

Very relaxing time out
We were very warmly welcomed by Mr Werthmann. The hut offered everything we needed to really enjoy our time out. The excursion tips (Dreissessel, Finsterau) as well as the Saußbachklamm on the doorstep provided us with active mornings and we enjoyed the afternoons/evenings very much with wellness in the hut.

Everything top!
Handover of the key with personal introduction was very detailed and friendly. If you had any questions, the information was written down again and you could ask at any time by phone or WhatsApp.
The furnishings are very cosy and the wood-burning stove makes it cosy and warm.
The bed in the attic was comfortable and the wood everywhere made it very quaint.
The whirlpool and the sauna for sole use are a highlight. everything was clean and attractively decorated, even outside, with great attention to detail.
We would be very happy to recommend the cottage to others.

Super relaxed days
We were really looking forward to our few days there and the fact that the small property is often fully booked is not surprising after our stay there. With much attention to detail, we immediately felt at home. We were warmly welcomed and given details about the use of the sauna and pool, as well as the additional fireplace in the house.
Mr. Werthmann was available for us around the clock, which we appreciated very much. The outdoor area is also very romantic due to the attention to detail (including the many indirect lighting through lanterns and LED candles). Our long journey from Frankfurt was definitely worth it, because I would describe our stay there as EXCELLENT and we were definitely not the last time there in the cottage 40 as guests.

Perfect for a short holiday with dog
Great location in the Bavarian Forest close to Waldkirchen. Hiking or city stroll... everything is in the direct vicinity. The equipment is completely sufficient, compact and practical. The cottage is fenced, so that the dog can also stay outside alone. The sauna with whirlpool is great!

Wellness in a private atmosphere
The hut keeps its promise: hut feeling with comfort. It offers everything you need for a stay and is in very good condition. The whirlpool is a great place to relax
Even though the cottage plots are quite small and the cottages are therefore quite close to each other, a lot has been done here for privacy, so you can spend your holiday in complete peace.
There is a beautiful lake nearby, which invites you to take an evening walk, but there are also plenty of beautiful opportunities for hikers to get their money's worth.
The contact with Mr Werthmann has also been top.
This was definitely not the last time we were there ;-)

Einfach ein Traum!
Wir waren für fünf Tage mit unserer kleinen Tochter und unserem Hund in diesem traumhaften Ferienhäuschen - und es war einfach nur toll!
Bei der Anreise wurden wir vom Vermieter Herrn Werthmann sehr freundlich begrüßt und es wurden uns Pool, Sauna usw. erklärt.
Die Hütte ist unglaublich ü
gemütlich und mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht! Wir haben uns ab dem ersten Moment einfach wohlgefühlt .
Die Sauna und der Whirlpool sind absolut spitze !
Das Häuschen befindet sich in sehr ruhiger Lage in direkter Nähe zu einem tollen See - ideal für unsere täglichen Spaziergänge mit Kind und Hund .
Das Ferienhaus ist nur zu empfehlen - wir kommen wieder!

Sehr erholsamer Urlaub
Wir haben eine Woche in Hütte 40 verbracht und haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus wurde durch den Besitzer erklärt (Whirlpool, Sauna etc.) und alles war wie angekündigt. Es war sehr, sehr, sauber und alles was man benötigt war vorhanden. Selbst eine Flasche Prosecco stand im Kühlschrank ! Der Pellet-Kamin ist absolute Klasse, die Küche vorhanden auch wenn wir diese nicht genutzt haben. Die Sauna war klasse und der Whirlpool ist super für einen gemütlichen Abend. Erholung pur
Vielen lieben Dank an Familie Werthmann für die wundervolle Unterkunft. Es wurde bis ins kleinste Detail an alles gedacht.
Unsere Mädels, beide 13 Jahre alt, haben sich unfassbar wohl gefühlt und unserer Hund durfte alle Annehmlichkeiten genießen. Die Sauna und der Whirpool waren nach langen Wanderungen sehr angenehm und absolut notwendig , die Umgebung und Ausstattung jeden Euro wert. Alles sehr liebevoll und hochwertig ausgestattet. So gut haben wir bis jetzt nur in unseren eigenen Betten geschlafen. Auf jeden Fall werden wir wieder kommen. Vielen herzlichen Dank für alles.

Einzigartige Unterkunft mit netten Vermietern
Wir sind als Paar mit unserer 9 Monate alten Tochter verreist.
Die Hütte ist wunderschön mit viel Liebe eingerichtet.
Alles was man braucht ist schon vor Ort.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Vater-Sohn-Hund-Aufenthalt. Die Hütte ist liebevoll und und mit allem, was man braucht, ausgestattet. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut, wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt, alles war völlig unkompliziert. Ideal waren der Jacuzzi und die Sauna. Wir waren als Familie (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) das erste mal in der Hütte 40 zu Gast und werden ganz bestimmt wieder kommen!!! Wunderschönes Örtchen
Wir haben zu fünft (zwei Pärchen und ein Baby) drei Nächte in diesem wunderschönen, bis ins Detail geplante Häuschen verbracht.

Super Urlaub und Erholung pur!
Wir waren anfang des Jahres mit unserem Hund in der liebevoll eingerichteten Hütte40.
Es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt und wir waren total begeistert. Die Hütte war top ausgestattet und super sauber. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und bekamen eine nette Einweisung für den Whirlpool und die Sauna, welche wir auch sehr gerne und ausgibig genutzt hatten. Zudem kann man prima spazieren gehen oder auch lange Wanderungen unternehmen.

Erholung pur in Traumhafter Unterkunft
Wir haben schon sehr viele Urlaube in Ferienhäusern verbracht, jedoch noch nie waren wir so begeistert von einem Objekt wie diesem. Was die Eigentümer hier geschaffen haben ist einfach grandios. Jeder der auf "Hüttenfeeling" steht, sollte sich dieses Objekt gönnen. Wunderschöne, luxuriös gestaltete Ferienhütte bei der es an nichts fehlt. Ausspannen
Die Unterkunft ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und lässt auch nichts vermissen. Gerade um mal auszuspannen und Abschied vom Alltag zu nehmen das richtige. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten etwas zu unternehmen ob direkt vom Ort oder nach einer kurzen Fahrt mit dem Auto. Nach einer Wanderung ist der Gang in die Sauna und den Whirlpool natürlich eine super zusätzliche Erholung. Bei wolkenlosem kann man vom Whirlpool aus einen wunderschönen Sternenhimmel bewundern und genießen.

Schöne Auszeit
Traumhaft schöne Hütte, sehr gemütlich mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es war ein sehr erholsamer Urlaub mit vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Durch die zentrale Lage kann man vom See bis zur Alm vieles erleben. Der “private Spa“ ist natürlich ein Highlight. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Zu jeder Jahreszeit zu empfehlen!

Urlaub
Schönen erholsamen Urlaub mit Hund kann man hier verbringen. Super Wanderwege, Vermieter sehr freundlich und erkundigt sich auch wärend des aufenthaltes ob alles in Ordnung ist.

Traumhaft und gut gelegen
Wir haben den Urlaub zu viert (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) mit unserer kleinen Hündin sehr genießen können! Es war alles vorhanden, was man halt eben auch im Urlaubsalltag braucht - von Toilettenpapier über neuer Spüllappen, Reinigertabs und sogar Salz und Pfeffer bis hin zu Sauna- Dusch- und normale Handtücher. Für unsere Hündin standen sogar Näpfe zur Verfügung. Es war sauber und gepflegt. Wichtige Anleitungen gab es schriftlich (Whirlpool, WLAN, ...) und der Vermieter war sehr zuvorkommend ubd erkundigte sich auch zwischendurch per Handy, ob es an etwas fehle. Wir fühlten uns rundum Willkommen und wert geschätzt.
Die tägliche Runde um den See war bei allen beliebt und es gibt tolle Ausflugsmöglichkeiten! Vom Adalbert- Stifter- Radweg der direkt am Park vorbei führt über Wanderungen und moderne Museen die auch Kinder interessieren - es ist für jeden was dabei.
