Cozy and dog-friendly :-)

The holiday home is cozy and lovingly furnished. You can feel the care put into the house. Everything is top-notch, clean, and in good condition. You feel comfortable and welcome. :-)
In the kitchen, all the utensils needed for cooking are available, of course excluding food. Everything is also available for cleaning, if needed. The little garden is great, and the sauna and whirlpool provide a lovely time for two :-) Our dog is also more than welcome, as there are even dog bowls. The freezer was perfect for the raw feeding food. The landlord responds very quickly to questions and is reliable. The stairs are more like a ladder, quite narrow, and clumsy people like me should pay a bit more attention when going up and down. Definitely set up a sleeping area downstairs for larger dogs (as mentioned in the description). There are a few hiking trails and nice paths for walks as well. Small but nice, you definitely don't need more! <3 A clear recommendation for anyone looking for a getaway. :-)

Relaxing days in the Bavarian Forest!

Lovingly furnished, one enjoys their stay in sunshine and rain because everything is simply harmonious. Wonderfully cozy

This time, too, we felt very comfortable here. The hut is very cozy, everything you need is there and it's super clean. Everything is just as described in the ad and shown in the pictures. With the jacuzzi and sauna, you can relax here perfectly, even if the weather doesn't allow for hikes in the Bavarian Forest. We would love to come back. Thank you very much!

Holiday in a great vacation home

First of all, many thanks to Claudia and Nino Werthmann for this great holiday home. All our expectations were exceeded by far. They were there for us at all times when we didn't immediately understand how to operate the devices. The cleanliness and equipment are excellent and in top condition. This was not our last vacation in this idyll. Everything is taken care of and included in the price. Highly recommended!!!

We felt really comfortable again.

We are here for the second time, this time with our dog. We feel super comfortable in this great cabin 40 :)
Everything is so lovingly decorated and prepared. Nino welcomed us very nicely, just like last time. The sauna and the pool are simply great, a fireplace provides cozy moments of well-being in the evening now that it is getting cooler. The tranquility here is especially beautiful, as well as the many opportunities for walks and hikes. We always enjoy our time here very much and would love to come back.

Simply fantastic!

We stayed for 5 days with our daughter and our small dog for the second time in cabin 40. We were once again greeted very kindly by the landlord Mr. Werthmann and instructed in the use of the whirlpool, sauna, etc. The cabin was, as always, in top condition - clean, well-maintained, decorated with love. The small fenced garden is also always perfectly cared for and prepared! Just to feel good! We can highly recommend this vacation home and will come back!

Cosy cottage with great attention to detail

We spent a very nice and relaxing short holiday with our dog in cottage 40.
The cottage has a great location directly on the lake. A path leads through the adjacent forest to the Schauerbach, which is perfect for our daily walks.
We were welcomed by Mr Werthmann himself, who first explained everything to us.
The cottage 40 was very well equipped with everything we needed (bed linen, towels, sauna infusion etc.), it was very clean and fantastically cosy with a lot of attention to detail.
The highlight was of course the sauna and the whirlpool in the outdoor area, where you could end the evenings with a glass of champagne (thank you for that!).
The landlords were very cordial and if we had a small problem during our holiday, Mr Werthmann helped us immediately.
We can unreservedly recommend the cottage 40 and thank you for the super nice (unfortunately too short) time out! :)
We will definitely be back.

Very relaxing time out

We were very warmly welcomed by Mr Werthmann. The hut offered everything we needed to really enjoy our time out. The excursion tips (Dreissessel, Finsterau) as well as the Saußbachklamm on the doorstep provided us with active mornings and we enjoyed the afternoons/evenings very much with wellness in the hut.

Everything top!

Handover of the key with personal introduction was very detailed and friendly. If you had any questions, the information was written down again and you could ask at any time by phone or WhatsApp.
The furnishings are very cosy and the wood-burning stove makes it cosy and warm.
The bed in the attic was comfortable and the wood everywhere made it very quaint.
The whirlpool and the sauna for sole use are a highlight. everything was clean and attractively decorated, even outside, with great attention to detail.
We would be very happy to recommend the cottage to others.

Super relaxed days

We were really looking forward to our few days there and the fact that the small property is often fully booked is not surprising after our stay there. With much attention to detail, we immediately felt at home. We were warmly welcomed and given details about the use of the sauna and pool, as well as the additional fireplace in the house.
Mr. Werthmann was available for us around the clock, which we appreciated very much. The outdoor area is also very romantic due to the attention to detail (including the many indirect lighting through lanterns and LED candles). Our long journey from Frankfurt was definitely worth it, because I would describe our stay there as EXCELLENT and we were definitely not the last time there in the cottage 40 as guests.

Perfect for a short holiday with dog

Great location in the Bavarian Forest close to Waldkirchen. Hiking or city stroll... everything is in the direct vicinity. The equipment is completely sufficient, compact and practical. The cottage is fenced, so that the dog can also stay outside alone. The sauna with whirlpool is great!

Wellness in a private atmosphere

The hut keeps its promise: hut feeling with comfort. It offers everything you need for a stay and is in very good condition. The whirlpool is a great place to relax
Even though the cottage plots are quite small and the cottages are therefore quite close to each other, a lot has been done here for privacy, so you can spend your holiday in complete peace.

There is a beautiful lake nearby, which invites you to take an evening walk, but there are also plenty of beautiful opportunities for hikers to get their money's worth.

The contact with Mr Werthmann has also been top.

This was definitely not the last time we were there ;-)

Simply a dream!

We spent five days with our little daughter and our dog in this beautiful holiday cottage - and it was simply great! Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the landlord, Mr. Werthmann, and he explained the pool, sauna, etc. The cabin is incredibly cozy and furnished with great attention to detail, everything you need is there! We felt comfortable from the first moment. The sauna and the whirlpool are absolutely fantastic! The cottage is located in a very quiet location in close proximity to a great lake - perfect for our daily walks with our child and dog.

The holiday home comes highly recommended - we will be back!

Very relaxing vacation

We spent a week in Cabin 40 and felt very comfortable from the first moment. The owner explained the house amenities (whirlpool, sauna, etc.) and everything was as advertised. It was very, very clean and had everything we needed. Even a bottle of Prosecco was in the fridge! The pellet fireplace is excellent, the kitchen is well-equipped although we didn't use it. Erholung pur

Many thanks to the Werthmann family for the wonderful accommodation. Every detail has been thought of. Our girls, both 13 years old, felt incredibly comfortable, and our dog could enjoy all the amenities. The sauna and the whirlpool were very pleasant and absolutely necessary after long hikes, and the surroundings and facilities are worth every euro. Everything is equipped with great attention to detail and high quality. We have only slept so well in our own beds until now. In any case, we will come back. Thank you very much for everything.

Dreamy and well-located

We were able to enjoy our vacation for four (2 adults and 2 children) with our little dog! Everything you need in everyday holiday life was available - from toilet paper to new dishcloths, cleaning tabs and even salt and pepper to sauna, shower, and regular towels. Bowls were even provided for our dog. It was clean and well-maintained. Important instructions were provided in writing (hot tub, WLAN, ...). The landlord was very accommodating and also inquired via mobile phone from time to time if anything was missing. We felt very welcome and appreciated. The daily walk around the lake was popular with everyone, and there are great excursion possibilities! From the Adalbert Stifter cycle path that passes directly by the park to hikes and modern museums that also interest children - there is something for everyone.
