We spent a week in the Gallery Cottage, and we lacked nothing. The house is cozily furnished and very clean, and the kitchen is very well equipped. The hosts are super nice and always ready to help.

The Fichtel Mountains are located between the cities of Bayreuth, Hof, and Weiden in northeastern Bavaria in the Upper Franconia administrative district, amidst the low mountain range. From the north/south, take the A9 Munich, Nuremberg/Leipzig. Coming from Berlin, you can reach your accommodation via the A93 Hof/Regensburg, Munich. From the Saxon area, drive via the A72 from Chemnitz to Hof. The Fichtel Mountains are excellently connected to the regional and long-distance transport network with the main train stations in Bayreuth, Marktredwitz, and Hof. From here, you then take a bus to your apartment. Within Saxony, Bavaria, Saxony, and the Czech Republic, the regional Vogtlandbahn and the Oberpfalzbahn operate. The nearest airport is Nuremberg (about 1.5 hours).
