Your destination, the village of Carwitz and the former residence of the writer Hans Fallada, is part of the Feldberger Seenlandschaft and is located about 120 km from Berlin, on the border with the Uckermark region. If you are traveling by car to your private vacation apartment or holiday home, it is best to take the A11 motorway to Prenzlau. Then continue via Fürstenberger and Feldberg to your accommodation. Coming from Hamburg, take the A24 to Wittstock, then the A19 to the Röbel exit, and follow the B198 through Möllenbeck and Feldberg to Carwitz. If you are arriving by train, take the train to the Neustrelitz station and then transfer to a bus to your destination.
