Attractive 2-room holiday flat in the Uckermark on the edge of the Feldberg lake district.
When we moved from Berlin to Thomsdorf in the Uckermark a few years ago, we never thought it would be possible to feel at home here so quickly. This small village with less than 200 inhabitants, in the middle of a beautiful landscape with forests, fields and lakes with the best water quality, has quite simply become our home. At the latest when our cat Pünktchen ran to us and didn't want to leave, it was clear to us: village life in its purest form.

What we found in Thomsdorf was community life as we had never experienced it before. Here people look after each other, here neighbourliness is lived in the best sense. And people are left alone if they don't want any contact.
In the course of the complete renovation of our 100-year-old farmhouse, we built a small holiday flat for 2 people, whose special charm lies in the interplay of old and new. Old building materials such as wood and loam meet a furnishing with everything that makes life comfortable.
After all, you should feel comfortable during the most important time of the year, your holiday. And that from the very first minute.

Experience almost untouched nature in the breathtaking hilly and lake landscape of the western Uckermark.
Thomsdorf is located directly on the border between the Uckermark and the Feldberg lake district, not far from the Mecklenburg lake district. In the middle of paradise, right next to the land of milk and honey.
In a northerly direction, the village ends at Lake Carwitz. If you have one foot in the crystal-clear water and the other on land, you are in two federal states at the same time. With the dry foot in Brandenburg, with the wet foot in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
If you are looking for peace and quiet and know what to do with yourself, you will get your money's worth in this beautiful landscape. Extensive hikes through the hilly landscape with partly untouched nature and the observation of the unique fauna are experience enough in themselves. If you want, you can take part in a guided hike with bird watching (even the white-tailed eagle makes an appearance now and then), and if you prefer the wet element, you can learn to dive at the diving centre. Or you can set sail by canoe from Thomsdorf to explore further lakes as far as Lychen or
Especially in the summer months, Thomsdorf offers a number of events such as the market days at the arts and crafts courtyard, the song festival or concerts in the church.
A hike along the Carwitzsee lake to Carwitz is also recommended. Hans Fallada once lived here, and his house is a museum that reveals interesting details of the author's life. For its size, Carwitz has a considerable density of gastronomic establishments with offerings for every taste.

Enjoy the vastness of the Uckermark and do not do without any amenities in your holiday flat.
When renovating the flat, we attached importance to "healthy" building materials wherever possible. The walls in the living room are plastered with clay, the wooden floor is oiled, as is the floor in the bedroom. The furniture is all made of real wood, the chest, chairs and table are found objects that we have reconditioned. We have dispensed with all frills in the furnishing, everything is functional and simple. If required, a tiled stove can provide cosy warmth in addition to the central heating.
The spacious bedroom has a comfortable double bed with night tables and a wardrobe from the Gründerzeit. Do you like to read in bed at night? Two sensible bedside lamps provide suitable light
The bathroom meets modern requirements with a large shower and underfloor heating. The kitchen is as functional as it is well-equipped, there is everything you need as a self-caterer

Put down your suitcase, sit on the terrace and look out into the distance, something you don't often get to do in the city. The terrace is about 18 square metres and covered, so that even a downpour is more of a pleasure than a problem.

Pure relaxation!
Great hosts, a lovingly furnished holiday apartment, and then this wonderful peace and nature. This vacation rental is just the right thing for a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can relax and it never gets boring. The area offers many beautiful (sometimes even within walking distance) excursions, and at the artisanal farm diagonally across, you can also just quickly have a coffee with delicious cake. We will gladly come back!

Relaxing, in the middle of nature, and very friendly hosts.
Thank you for the relaxing weekend! We especially liked the natural decor. It's great that natural materials were used in the renovation (real wooden floors, etc.). The surroundings are very peaceful. The lake with boat rental is within walking distance. You are practically immediately out of the hustle and bustle of the city and in the middle of nature. The hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Bose, are very friendly and helpful. For example, when our car unfortunately broke down, you supported us very actively. We highly recommend Thomsdorf 2 and will gladly come back! Helge and Katrin
