We were warmly welcomed by Gabrielle, Pino and Francesco. The house is beautifully situated with a stunning view. Hospitality like this is rarely experienced! Because of the great facilities, we were hardly drawn to go on excursions - most of the time, we spent outside of the house. Very well suited for complete relaxation and unwinding.

Mrs. Angelika Meisborn did a very good job and was able to help me with all my questions on site. However, there are pros and cons to the holiday home. Optically, it is a highlight, it looks so pretty, and together with the garden, it is really nice to look at, but upon closer inspection, some things need to be renovated. The stairs (one step needs to be secured), the slatted frame in the upper bed shifts with the slightest movement and crashes down. The faucet in the kitchen splashes. The wheel on the grill is loose and I had to scrub the grill grate beforehand. The oven only works with underheat. The towels are very sparingly provided, only one set per person per week. So you have to use the washing machine. Drying can only be done when it doesn't rain, of course. Please watch out for your small children and dogs!!! My dog ​​jumped from the upper terrace onto the roof of the lower terrace and almost fell 2.5m down. I was just able to grab her and pull her up. Overall, it is very relaxing here, but for €900/week, I would have expected it to be somewhat cleaner. The loungers are comfortable and the pool is sufficiently large and refreshing. The shower is very nicely done. Overall, the stay for one week was okay.

The house is in a secluded location, so you don't need to be considerate and you can sit for a long time in the evening, listen to music or have a games evening together.

There is a pizza oven in the house and a brick barbecue in the garden, which we used often.

The kitchen is well-equipped and there were enough dishes for all of us, which can be conveniently put in the dishwasher.

However, a car is required, as the nearest shopping facilities are not within walking distance and public transport is not available in the immediate vicinity.
But you know that at the latest when you read the description well and prepare yourself for it.

All in all, if you want to have a relaxing, quiet holiday, you will certainly feel very comfortable in this house and if anything is missing or questions arise, Mrs Meisborn is available by phone day and night.

It was definitely not the last time we spent our holidays at Casa Viepori.
