Old Italian house in the middle of the vineyard, converted into several apartments with bathroom, toilet and terraces, magnificent view of Tuscany. A swimming pool on the well-maintained domain, shared with the various tenants in an enclosed park, 3 minutes' walk away (steep access path). No fan, so the two apartments upstairs are warm (holidays in the month of "August), and don't forget your anti-mosquito spray :) (very present during our stay). Florence is 30 minutes by car, Siena 45 minutes. Good starting point for visiting Tuscany. Friendly and easy reception, a nobody was waiting for us to open us. 2 bottles of chianti on the table for our arrival, as well as two bottles of olive oil. Very good stay, Tuscany is still beautiful, we will come back ...

Nice welcome by Francesco with a bottle of wine and olive oil from the own company. Shortly thereafter also welcomed by Stefania the owner. Both spoke English well. The house is beautifully situated. Our terrace was in the sun a lot and although there is a pergola, it is quite hot. But much cooling was found at the pool. That is wonderful with many large trees around it. The owner quickly went on holiday, so we could only plan a wine tasting in the first few days. That ultimately was canceled due to personal circumstances of the owner. That was very unfortunate. You do not come to a wine farm for nothing. But unfortunately it is August so everyone (you noticed that elsewhere) on holiday, regardless of whether it is high season and you work with tourists. Too bad no one else could take it over. After that, little personal contact anymore (only via app, but quick response always). I also thought that was a shame. The personal atmosphere of an agriturismo is created by the people who rent it out. Also no joint activities that were organized (such as a tasting). But otherwise it was delicious here. Near all sights but still quiet. Nice restaurants in the area, little touristy but all the more fun as a result and great nature. And the cottage was also very comfortable with a lot of atmosphere. Therefore had a wonderful holiday.

We stayed at the logia apartment with 3. Since it is actually for 5 it has enough space. The fact that the setting is pretty basic (without TV) really contributes to enjoying the outdoor living in the Tuscany countryside. The pool area is great! Sun and shadow all day and with nice facilities for entertainment like the table tennis. On top of that you can go for some walking straight from the apartment and might see deer or even wild boar We have been come got castelvecchio twice now. Second time after nine years and it was as nice as we remembered! Oh and the wine is lovely
