Holiday apartments & holiday homes with pool in San Godenzo San Godenzo

The house is from 1422 and has been well renovated, the furniture is old and bad, the beds are rock hard so a drama for us as guests

The one kilometer access road is steep and full of boulders and big holes in the road , driving up is a drama the gravel flies under the car and we have already been stuck twice and one tire broke and there it is you as a senior

The location is great, the nature is indescribably beautiful and you really relax

But getting sandwiches in the morning is not possible due to the bad unpaved road

And making trips is also not attractive because the way up holds you back

So we don't go here anymore

The cottage is in a fantastic environment but the road to it is very bad. This is not described, but this is not just an unpaved road but just not a road in some parts. We couldn't check in until 6pm because they were cleaning. Well unfortunately it was not clean. There are many vermin and cobwebs everywhere. It was 35 degrees, but it is also terribly hot in the house at night. But ..... the location is fantastic, the pool is lovely. You have a lot of privacy. The owner is also very friendly. All in all, a very nice vacation.

Not intended for a relaxing holiday/stay, I don't understand why Belvilla still offers this accommodation! Driving down to the property is said to be a dirt road of 800 meters, this dirt road is full of sharp-pointed boulders and no road barrier in front of the ravine, certainly no 2 cars can pass side by side, the drop contains 18% you is at right angles to your car down and then you have to go up the same way, we have of the 2 cars we had with us (with 6 people) of each car broke 1 tire of 1 car the entire tire was broken! We have visited several accommodations in Italy in the past, also with steep roads, but this one takes the cake, when you arrive at the accommodation and the WiFi and your own mobile network do not work, which was the case with us the 1st 3 days, you only feel real closed off from civilization you could not call or reach anyone because the lady who "manages" it there only came in the morning at 8 o'clock in the morning to clean the pool and went back home to the top of the mountain with the announcement: if there is something you call me, very nice If you CAN call, the accommodation should be clean… we had to remove the sand from the glasses that were in the cupboard before we washed them by hand first!
