Description
This former farmhouse is located in the rolling hills between Montelupo Fiorentino and Montespertoli.
The country house has been restored with care, preserving typical Tuscan features such as beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. Furniture and furnishings are adapted to the property.
The house offers on 240 sqm space for 8 adults and two children up to 4 years.
On the ground floor there is a kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave, italian mokkamaschine, German coffee machine, toaster, fridge with freezer, dining room with fireplace, living room with fireplace and TV. On the first floor are the 4 bedrooms (2 with TV digital) with double beds and three bathrooms. There is the possibility to add two children's beds for children up to 4 years. There are three bathrooms, two of which have a shower.
The house is equipped with Wi-Fi, central heating and a washing machine.

Geweldige ligging!
Het huis is groot en schoon.
De kamers zijn ruim.
Het huis is traditioneel ingericht. Er is veel te zien. Mooie schilderijen en veel accesoires, het huis vertelt een eigen verhaal. Je voelt de liefde van de familie voor dit huis.
We werden warm ontvangen door familieleden die ons wegwijs maakten. De prosecco stond koud, heel fijn.
Eigenaar Antonio komt twee keer per week de tuin verzorgen. We werden zelfs een keer verrast met een heerlijk ontbijt.
Het terrein is heel groot met een verzorgde oprijlaan en overal verzorgde perkjes en zelfs een eigen jeu de boule baan. Ook zijn er 3 fietsen die je kunt gebruiken. Er zijn in de tuin genoeg bomen die schaduwrijke plekken geven om lekker lang in de tuin te zijn. Het zwembad is groot genoeg en heeft een diep gedeelte.
Er zijn voldoende ligbedjes en zitplekken.
Het uitzicht over de heuvels is adembenemend!
Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad met twee gezinnen.

The old, beautiful and cosy farmhouse is quietly situated on a gentle hill where a light breeze almost always blows.
In the authentically furnished house, there are four bedrooms upstairs and the large eat-in kitchen and the equally large living room downstairs. All daily utensils are abundantly provided, including microwave, coffee machine and washing machine. The highlight was the large freezer (in addition to the fridge), which always kept all our drinks at a very low temperature.
The only small drawback is the cramped shower situation (one on the upper floor near the bedrooms and one on the ground floor in the annex). However, we were able to arrange ourselves well with two families.
The large garden always invites you to linger and the children to play. With its small group of birch trees and the large parasol, you have a place in front of the house that is shaded all day. Beautiful wooden furniture completes the ambience.
The pool is also perfect for all guests. You can stand all around the pool (approx. 1.20 m), ideal for children. However, there is no exit for small children, only a ladder.
Antonio and his daughter were very nice hosts. We were welcomed with a bottle of Spumante and plenty of tips for shopping and for the surrounding area.
Antonio regularly took care of the garden and the pool.
All in all, we had a wonderful holiday and can only recommend Casale Scognano (5 out of 5 stars).

very beautiful house and property
The house is located in a very well-kept property. Upon arrival, Antonio awaited us. After introducing the house, he took us to the surrounding towns and showed us shopping and dining options. The house itself is well-equipped and offers plenty of space.

wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt
Die Kommunikation und der ganze Ablauf mit toskana-pur hat reibungslos funktioniert. Man bekam viel Wissenswertes zur Urlaubsplanung zugesendet und auch Nachfragen wurden schnell beantwortet.
Bei der Ankunft wurden wir freundliche begrüßt und uns wurde alles gezeigt und erklärt. Auch eine große Schüssel mit leckeren Pfirsichen stand für uns bereit. Antonio fuhr sogar mit meinem Mann und meinem Schwager eine Runde in die nähere Umgebung um ihnen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und gute Restaurants zu zeigen. Echt toll und sehr hilfreich. Schlecht gegessen haben wir nämlich nie.
Das Haus und der große Garten waren sehr gepflegt und super in Schuß. Es gab genug Liegen, Stühle und Tische. Auch der Pool war sehr sauber. Unser Hund hat sich ebenfalls sehr wohl gefühlt.
Können toskana-pur und auch Casale Scognano nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen und vielleicht kommen auch wir mal wieder dorthin zurück.

wir kommen wieder
Vorab möchten wir erwähnen, dass die Kommunikation mit toskana-pur.de und den Eigentümern des Ferienhauses zu jedem Zeitpunkt reibungslos verlief. Man bekam alles Wissenswerte mitgeteilt und Nachfragen wurden super schnell beantwortet.
Die Eigentümer waren von Anfang an sehr daran interessiert, dass man sich sehr wohl und heimisch fühlt. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir bereits sehr freundlich am Eingangstor empfangen. In der Küche hatte man uns eine leckere Obstschale und Sekr vorbereitet und wir bekamen eine Führung durch das Haus, den riesigen Garten und sogar um das Gelände herum; falls der Hund doch mal stiften gehen sollte und man ihn einsammeln muss. Zuletzt tauschten wir noch Handynummern aus und bekamen so auch tolle Tipps um Ausflüge planen zu können. (Englischkenntnisse sind von Vorteil, wenn man wie wir kein italienisch spricht). Das ganze Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und sauber. Alles war in einem guten Zustand. Der Garten ist wie bereits erwähnt riesig und bietet einem Hund einen ganz tollen Abenteuerspielplatz. Trotz der Größe ist alles sehr gut gepflegt. Ausreichend Liegen, Tische und Stühle standen bereit. Auch für heiße Tage gab es einen Sonnenschirm und die großen Bäume spendeten den nötigen Schatten. Für Boccia Liebhaber gibt es sogar eine eigens angelegte Bahn. Das Anwesen und der Pool wurden vom Eigentümer regelmäßig gepflegt, er war dabei jedoch keineswegs aufdringlich. Herr Orfatti brachte uns sogar einmal typisch florentinisches Brot mit. Sehr lecker!
Wir würden zu jeder Zeit die Unterkunft erneut buchen. Das tolle Haus, die sehr netten Eigentümer und die klasse Umgebung der Toskana bleiben uns und unserem Hund mit Sicherheit noch sehr lange in Erinnerung. Wir danken der Familie Orfatti für die tolle Unterkunft und kommen gerne wieder.

wir kommen wieder
Wir waren vom 24.9.-1.10.2016 in der Casale Scognano und wollten nicht versäumen noch zu schreiben, wie sehr wir unseren Urlaub dort genossen haben. Besonders toll war es auch für unseren Hund, der den ganzen Tag freilaufen konnte, da das Grundstück komplett eingezäunt ist. Obwohl es schon etwas frisch war, konnten wir an manchen Tagen auch den Pool geniessen. Ein herzliches Dankeschön noch an Toskana Pur mit den vielen Tipps und Hinweisen. Wir werden nächstes Jahr gerne wieder kommen.
