A gem in the Eastern Ore Mountains

We, that is my friend Christa, her dog, and I, visited the Green Holiday House from June 21 to June 24, 2025. This house is a true gem, cozy, absolutely clean, and very lovingly furnished. Everything needed for self-catering is sufficiently available. Of course, as the furnishings are adequate for up to 10 people (if the visitors get along :-) We had the opportunity to personally meet the host Mr. Richter on the day of arrival. It was an extremely nice encounter. I can only expressly recommend this accommodation, and if we come back to the area, we will definitely use this wonderful little house as our accommodation again. We properly followed Mr. Richter's hiking recommendations and enjoyed them very much. Anyone looking for peace and relaxation is definitely in the right place here. Great for a group trip.

We stayed with a mixed group of 7 people (aged 40-84). The distribution with so many rooms is ideal, as it allows for accommodating several couples and singles, which can often be difficult. The large kitchen with a table for many diners and the communal room allowed us to have great social gatherings during breakfast and in the evenings. During the day, there is a lot to discover in the nearby and further surroundings for all age groups.

The apartment is located on the first floor and is accessible by stairs, but is also suitable for physically restricted travelers due to the ground-level showers.

One should not be deceived by the map - the "main road" is not heavily trafficked, and thanks to the thick walls and good windows, you don't actually hear any noises from outside while sleeping. The large balcony faces the courtyard anyway...

The equipment is practical; everything you need is there, from a microwave to a dishwasher, from a frying pan to a washing machine and Wi-Fi. It's not a designer kitchen or designer furniture, but furnishings that match the house. Everything is clean and well-maintained.

In conclusion: we will be back!

And last but not least: uncomplicated, nice landlords who are nearby when you need them.
