Place of peace and relaxation

The Villa Campo is a wonderful place to find peace and quiet. We were there as a family of four and all felt comfortable right away. The house offers plenty of space and is ideal for family vacations with grandparents or two families. One double room is somewhat separate and has its own bathroom. However, small children should be able to handle stairs safely in this house, as there are individual steps throughout. Even in the bathroom on the first floor, there are two steps. The bedrooms are spacious, and at least one window is equipped with a fly screen. The bedrooms are located on the first floor facing east, providing a phenomenal view over the Tuscan hills. One can observe the dreamlike sunrises from the bedroom.

The kitchen is very well equipped with sufficient glasses, plates, and utensils. There is even a hand mixer, as well as a microwave, toaster, kettle, oven, dishwasher... The garden is planted with many plants and herbs and is fenced in. The pool is in another part of the garden, but also very private.

The landlords live next door and are always quick to help. But you don't feel watched.

The place Rivalto is very small but rather typical, authentic rather than touristy. There are no shopping opportunities and you always have to go by car. However, there is a regular bus. The place is situated on a hill, and you drive there via small, narrow, winding roads.
We liked the area, the place, and the house very much. A wonderful place to find peace again and totally relax.

We thank the Hörmann/Costagli family for allowing us to stay in their wonderful house for 2 weeks. We received many tips and excursion suggestions from Mrs. Hörmann.

Super vacation in the picturesque Tuscany

We spent a super nice vacation in Tuscany together with our dog.

On a spacious property with beautiful flowers, fresh herbs, and many olive trees is the well-equipped holiday home. Since we had a dog with us, we were glad it was completely fenced. Our Beagle, of course, found a loophole anyway. We were able to close it afterwards. Every morning the pool was cleaned and we received fresh croissants from the bakery. The people who take care of the property are very nice.

During the day we cooled off in the beautiful pool and in the evenings we mostly cooked for ourselves (everything necessary can be found in the kitchen) and afterwards we enjoyed the picturesque sunsets with a nice glass of Chianti.

The town of Peccioli is a 5-minute drive away. The road away from the property is a bit adventurous. The second time we managed it coolly. The town is beautiful with some restaurants, cafés, and shops. There are also delicious pizza takeaways.
