The holiday home "In Toscana" is located in one of the most beautiful regions of Tuscany. Four comfortable apartments are available for the guests, all furnished in traditional, regional style. The construction method, with vaulted open ceilings and wooden beams, the deep red terracotta floors and the walls made of natural stone or brick, also contributes to giving the guests an authentic Tuscan living feeling and an atmosphere of well-being.
The Francesca apartment in particular is presented here: it is a 2-room apartment with its own separate balcony and garden furniture. The living area is divided into a living room with kitchenette and sofa bed, a bedroom with double bed, which can be converted into two single beds if required, and a bathroom with shower
Land and garden
The holiday home is situated in the middle of a 6000sqm property, which is completely fenced in. The park-like garden offers a variety of flora. In addition to an olive grove and pines, cherry, peach and lemon trees also grow here. A colourful floral splendour and herbs delight the senses.
Swimming pool
In the garden there is a spacious swimming pool (6 m x 12. m) secured by a wooden fence which invites you to take a refreshing dip. It is surrounded by a 3 m wide terracotta terrace equipped with deckchairs, wooden tables and sunshades. The pool is open from the beginning of May until the end of September.
Community terrace
On the ground floor there is a covered terrace of approx. 100 sqm available for the guests. It is furnished with wooden tables, Hollywood swing and chairs and invites you to linger. Here you can relax with a glass of wine and let the view glide over the swimming pool and the garden to the surrounding hills. A table tennis table and a kicker challenge you to a match! A fitness corner with equipment is available for sports enthusiasts.
Comfort
All apartments are equipped with heating, hot water, dishwasher and SAT-TV. A washing machine / laundry room is available for common use. Internet Wi-Fi is available both in the FeWos and in the outdoor area.

Look forward to a holiday in a green hilly landscape, with countless vineyards, olive groves and over 25 exquisite wineries that offer your fine wines for tasting. The Etruscan coast, with its sandy beaches for carefree beach fun - for example near San Vincenzo, is only about 50 minutes away by car. Those interested in art and culture will find themselves in the middle of the triangle between the Tuscan magnets Pisa, Florence and Siena. Lucca, San Gimignano and many other beautiful towns are also easily accessible by car on a day trip and invite you to discover them.

The origins of the small town of Terricciola go back to Etruscan times. Thanks to its hilly location in the middle of the Era Valley, the town was created for viticulture, as its inhabitants recognized a long time ago. Little by little the old town became more and more important for the production of grape juice. Today Terricciola is the centre of the wine production of the Valdera (= valley of the Era river). A big event around wine is the traditional wine and grape festival "Festa dell' Uva e del Vino" in Terricciola, which takes place every 3rd weekend in September. Already in August wine tastings and tastings take place under the name "Calici di stelle" (shooting stars).
The happy strawberry festival in May also deserves special attention. Other events include a spring festival in La Rosa, celebrated in April, and the "Fiera di San Donato" village festival.
This once quite feudal little village still conveys a typical picture of Tuscan life today. Let yourself be inspired by the cosy rhythm of life of the "Vita Toscana". Along the white paths you can discover the many impressive wineries in the surroundings of Terricciola. It is wonderful to walk through vineyards and olive groves. They can also be explored by bike or more comfortably by mountain bike
Today Terricciola is symbolic for the wine-growing of the region, which consequently strongly influences the landscape around it.
