An old but very well-maintained house: large, spacious rooms, cozy and with enough kitchen utensils. The friendly woman who welcomed us wanted to tell us everything in a mix of Italian, Spanish, and English. I could manage because I speak Portuguese, but otherwise the key handover might have been a problem. When we had a power outage one day, I called the owner myself and she tried to help me, but didn't speak a word of English or any other language. Eventually, she sent someone we knew to show us where to turn the power back on. She was friendly and helpful, but it's a pity that language was a barrier. The location of this property is very beautiful, but not convenient for day trips (it is on the edge of the Dolomites). It's quite far from the heart of the Dolomites (about 1.5 hours drive on (beautiful) back roads). For Venice, however, it was perfect. 15 minutes away is the Statioze d'Alpago station, where you can park your car and have a direct connection to Venice (1.5 hours). Make sure to buy train tickets online! Parking at the house was a bit tricky. Through a very narrow street (more like a slope), you can test your driving skills while reversing to park. This was always exciting as it's very tight for a Prius. The house is next to a church, a bar, and a small supermarket. A bakery is a bit further away. There is nothing else to do or see in this village. The nearest restaurant (pizzeria) is less than a 10-minute drive away. It was a pleasant and peaceful stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this fantastic location. Emilia our contact person was very involved and made sure that we were not short of anything. It was a nice and clean house. Certainly possible for repetition.
