Description
Strandnest 1 is the front half of our duplex house and is situated on the side facing Fleesensee. Enjoy the view from the living room through large windows of the garden and Fleesensee. Predominantly electric blinds and curtains provide sun protection and privacy.
On the ground floor, there is a spacious living area equipped with a sofa corner, TV, dining table, a fitted kitchen, and a tiled bathroom with a shower, toilet, sink, and towel radiator. The kitchen and the bathroom on the ground floor were modernized in autumn 2019.
From the living room, you can directly access the apartment's terrace and garden through two large patio doors. On the terrace, you can enjoy your vacation sitting at the table and chairs or on a sun lounger. The garden and terrace are completely enclosed by a dense hedge. The kitchenette is fully equipped with an electric stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, toaster, spices, coffee maker, and Nespresso machine. The entire ground floor including the bathroom has underfloor heating.
Upstairs you'll find two comfortably furnished bedrooms and another daylight bathroom with a sink and toilet.
The lake-view bedroom is furnished with a double bed, bedside tables, and a wardrobe. In a niche, there is a solid wood baby/toddler bed.
The second bedroom has two single beds, a nightstand, wardrobe, and 2 chairs with a side table and another television.
The bedroom windows are equipped with completely blackout external blinds, pleated blinds, and each room has one window with built-in insect protection. The entire upper floor has laminate flooring.
A selection of literature and a collection of games are available. In the apartment, there is a vacuum cleaner, clothes rack, ironing board, and iron.
The little ones can also feel comfortable. A selection of toys is available. Wooden crib, high chair, and step stool for the bathroom can be used. In the utility room behind the house, you will find a vacuum cleaner and cleaning utensils if needed. There is also a washing machine, which you can use for a fee. The holiday home is located in the midst of the Mecklenburg Lake District, directly on the sandy beach of Fleesensee in the town of Untergöhren. Due to its exclusive location, you have a unique and unobstructed view of Fleesensee.
The road in front of the house is closed to public car traffic in the summer, but you will receive an access card to reach the house. After crossing the street, you walk across a well-maintained lawn with picnic benches and reach the sandy beach of Fleesensee (approx. 50 m). 50 m from the house). To the left of the house, there is a small marina with boat rentals and a snack bar, and about 100 m to the right, another sandy beach with public loungers, a great playground, a volleyball court, a zip line, and a water sports school with boat rentals. There are several restaurants on the beach and in the town.
Untergöhren, with its location on the Fleesensee and a great sandy beach, is one of the most popular holiday regions in the "Land Fleesensee". You can discover beautiful landscapes from water or land. The region is well-suited for leisure activities such as hiking, inline skating, cycling, and horseback riding, thanks to a very well-developed network of trails.
Lake Fleesensee is about five kilometers long and up to four kilometers wide. It is part of the chain of lakes between Lake Plau, Lake Malchow, Lake Kölpin, and Lake Müritz. As part of the Müritz-Elde Waterway, it is navigated by boats and excursion ships. Windsurfers, sailors, and water trippers in kayaks or canoes find good conditions in front of Untergöhren. About 2.5 km away, in Göhren-Lebbin, there is a marketplace, a swimming pool with a wellness area, several golf courses, and restaurants. In the summer season, a free shuttle bus is available with a spa card. For day trippers, there are worthwhile destinations in the towns of Waren (Müritz), Röbel, Malchow, and Plau am See. In our holiday apartment, unfortunately, there is no satellite or cable reception due to the location of the house. The television or a TV box connected to the television is connected to the internet, so you can enjoy your favorite shows and movies via various apps (e.g. media libraries or streaming services). You are welcome to use your existing streaming subscriptions with Netflix or Prime Video for this.

Beautiful holiday accommodation for families
We really enjoyed our stay in the holiday apartment. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and well-equipped – we lacked nothing. The location is ideal: very close to the lake and right in front of a playground, which was perfect for our children. At the same time, the apartment is well-protected from prying eyes, so you can also enjoy peace and privacy. Overall, a great accommodation, especially for families – absolutely recommendable!

Very beautiful holiday home in Untergöhren
We spent two weeks with our sons in the beautiful holiday home of the Kühnel family. The accommodation was very clean and well equipped. The location is dreamy. Right by the lake, a very nice restaurant, and the nearby playground are optimal for a vacation with children. There is much to discover and experience, whether on foot, by bike, on a Segway, or by boat. Everything is perfect for escaping everyday life.

Vacation with Child
We really enjoyed our stay at this accommodation. The well-maintained atmosphere and cleanliness of the property made our stay very pleasant. The location is simply fantastic - right by the lake.
