Place of longing

We were now in Villa Paradiso 1 in Pitsidia for the 5th time. For us, this place has truly become a place of longing. Our house, Manolis, Bärbel, Niki, Pitsidia, and the beach Komos with the Bunga Bunga Bar leave nothing to be desired. We feel so comfortable there that we actually don't want to go home anymore and will definitely come back next year!

Really nice vacation

This vacation was incredibly beautiful! Pitsidia is located very quietly, but it is still really nice! We were there with another couple from our circle of friends and it was a really great accommodation! Everyone had enough space, it was clean, and the landlord is the warmest and best man for everything! The love he puts into his houses and his hospitality is incredible and I have never experienced anything like it before. Communication was not entirely easy, but Bärbel was there, and she did a really great job. The invitation to eat with all the guests or a joint trip to a beautiful gorge was a super nice and lovely gesture! We would have preferred never to leave again! It was an incredibly beautiful and warm stay! Thank you! We will come back!

Wonderfully relaxing and uncomplicated.

Beautiful house with private pool. In the village, time seems to stand still. Very friendly locals. Many hiking trails in the surrounding area. Ideal for a relaxing holiday.

Wonderful holiday home

What a wonderful vacation in a beautiful holiday home.
Everything, and even more than you need, was available.
The large holiday home with 2 bedrooms and a really large living room with an open kitchen offers plenty of space for a family of 4.
There were only two of us and we were able to take care of ourselves wonderfully in the fully equipped kitchen.
Noteworthy, alongside the great holiday home with its own pool, are Bärbel, Manoli, and Nikki, who always did everything to ensure that their guests were well taken care of and lacked nothing.
The regular barbecues, to which Manoli invited his guests and where Nikki repeatedly demonstrated her cooking skills, are legendary.

For people who want a relaxed vacation in a small complex and have the opportunity to interact informally with the other guests, it is the ideal location.

Just dreamy

Even on our fifth visit in a row, everything was perfect. Manoli and his team manage to convey Greek warmth and joy of life again and again. Particularly valuable is the German-speaking manager Bärbel, who is available for questions, tips and concerns.
The remote house is cozy and stylishly furnished. Everything you need for a stay in a holiday home is available.
It will definitely not be our last stay.

Visiting friends

After 2021, we visited Manoli again in 2023. Once again, we were impressed by his Greek hospitality. His BBQ evenings, which he organizes for his guests and friends, are unforgettable.
His German-speaking manager Bärbel took care of us wonderfully again.
Away from mass tourism, Pitsidia and the easily accessible beaches by car are worth a visit.

Beautiful

This year we were at Manolis' vacation homes for the 4th time and are always thrilled.
With the lovingly designed facility by Manolis, you feel at home every time.
Villa Paradiso 1 is comfortably furnished and the beautiful terrace with its loungers and lovely pool is simply inviting for relaxation.
The caring service provided by Manolis, for example with an fruit-yogurt-muesli in the morning or his legendary barbecues, make the holiday unique every time!
Furthermore, Bärbel, the German contact person and organizer on site, is worth gold.
Overall, Pitsidia and the surrounding area offer beautiful holiday experiences, whether it's with great beaches, delicious food, or a great town like Matala nearby.
We will definitely come back next year and are already looking forward to it!

Wonderful holiday home with caring host.

My husband, our 8-month-old daughter, my mother, and I spent a lovely week in Villa Paradiso 1. The house had all the amenities one needed and was very clean. Due to our illness, we spent a lot of time on the beautiful terrace and were still able to relax and recover a bit. Bärbel was always available to help us. Manolis brought us fresh fruit and omelettes and cooked one evening for us, his family, and friends. It was a beautiful and heartfelt evening. We will definitely come back and stay a little longer next time. The house, the village, the beach, and above all the hospitality are simply unique!

Very nice!

We had two beautiful weeks at the beginning of May 2023 in Villa Paradisos I with my heavily handicapped mother. Prior to our stay, it was important for us to know if my mother could move around the house and adjacent terrace with her walker on one level. Our questions were answered quickly and reliably by Bärbel. On site, my mother was provided with a chair with a backrest which made it easier for her to stand up. Manolo, a very friendly, creative and warm-hearted host, gifted us with laughter, oranges, lemons and a few eggs. A special highlight was the shared cooking experience in the open kitchen with Bärbel, Manolo and other holiday guests. The house was very clean and the equipment corresponded to the information on the internet. At the end of the first week, there was an intermediate cleaning.

Welcome time out before the dark season

We had a wonderful week with our two children (4 and 5 years old) from 15-22.10.2022 at Villa Paradisos I and its grounds. We received a very warm welcome despite our late arrival. This cordiality continued throughout our entire holiday week. We were helped with any questions and the tips for excursions provided in the holiday home were very helpful. The holiday home was very clean and the equipment corresponded exactly to the information on the internet, simply perfect. Even before the holiday, we had very friendly communication with Bärbel, so that we could actually enjoy our holiday right from the moment we landed. It was an all-round perfect week and can definitely be recommended to families with small children. Thank you very much for everything

Like paradise

Super nice house, everything you need and very clean. In addition to our own pool right in front of the house, there is a larger communal pool on the grounds that our children also enjoyed using. Manolis also spoiled us with an omelette and a BBQ evening. Bärbel also gave us great support on site, e.g. with booking a boat tour
In the village, you can find everything for your daily needs within walking distance, as well as good tavernas.

Pure relaxation

This is the third time we have stayed with Manolis and once again we spent 15 wonderful days in Villa Paradiso 1! Many thanks to Manolis, Bärbel and Niki, who make the holiday unforgettable with their lovely, friendly and warm manner. We love the house, the pool, the beautiful Komos beach, the Bunga Bunga bar and the small town of Pitsidia, where they even played live music again this year!

Dream holiday like in paradise

We (unfortunately) only spent 6 days in Villa Paradiso 1 and were super satisfied! Manolis is an extremely friendly host, cordial and courteous but very discreet. Bärbel took great care of us and was always available. We found a lot of good information in her folder with tips. The house is very tastefully furnished, very clean and equipped with all comforts. The private pool is big enough and offers shady areas from midday. The air conditioning is very good and restaurants and supermarkets only a few minutes walk from the house. The beach of Komos is only 5 minutes away by car, fantastically beautiful and we found the bar Bunga Bunga there super because it is not very touristy. Our conclusion: A holiday in a Manolis holiday home is highly recommended and we would have liked to stay here longer! It's nice that something like this still exists far away from mass tourism - we'll gladly come back!

Top- Urlaub

You can tell that a vacation was successful when you feel sad because it's time to leave. As always, we were very sad. Beautiful holiday in Pitsidia

We stayed with Manolis in Pitsidia for the second time this year. We rented Villa Paradiso 1 and were just as thrilled as the year before. The attention to detail makes each house special. Everything is very individually furnished, very clean and lacking nothing. Pitsidia itself is a quiet village with wonderful tavernas and a great Komos beach.
It is the hospitality of Manolis and Bärbel that makes the holidays so special. Whether it's omelette, fish, calamari or vegetables, everything tastes just super good with Manolis. The barbecue evenings in particular are a highlight every time, and Manolis Raki is also used here and there?
It was once again an unforgettable, relaxing and wonderful holiday!
We will definitely come back next year and are already looking forward to it.

Mal wieder Erholung pur

We visited Manolis for the second time and had a wonderful time again. He and his manager Bärbel are great hosts and make sure nothing is missing. Everything is so wonderfully uncomplicated. Spontaneous trips and great barbecues spoiled the whole family. We will definitely come back!

...the best 10 days in this crazy year 2020

We have been back for an hour from probably the best 10 days in 2020.

Booked last minute a few days before, we were able to make our planned trip to Crete in April 2020 after all, and it was really worth it.
The arrival and departure went completely smoothly; -Mask on and go.
On site, the issue of Corona is handled with necessary care, but everything is very relaxed. We were able to switch off at any time, which is not difficult with the host Manolis. In 2020, the house received a second small bathroom (wheelchair accessible), making it even more attractive than we already knew in 2017. See you again in 2021 and many thanks to the entire team around Manolis for an unforgettable holiday in 2020.

Truly a little paradise.

The three of us had a super nice and relaxing week. Even though we booked this week at very short notice, thanks to Bärbel, the caretaker, the whole process was very pleasant and flawless. We were welcomed so warmly by Bärbel and also by Manolis that we immediately felt at home, despite the current tense situation. Manolis had won us over with his loving nature right away. He cooked us traditional dishes. He repeatedly brought us eggs from his chickens or a fruit plate. If we could have, we would have packed him up and taken him home with us immediately. For us, it was a great experience as we had only booked package tours before. Thank you again for this wonderful time we were able to spend with you! We will definitely come back!

We were thrilled and will come back.

We went on this type of vacation for the first time and did not regret it. The house is spacious and equipped with everything you need. Manolis is incredibly kind and takes care of his guests. Every day he brings some small things over (eggs, melons, bananas, olives) and you can feel how important it is to him that the guests feel comfortable. Bärbel is always there for everyone and you can ask her questions anytime. The area is very quiet, so relaxation from the first minute. Mini-markets, taverns, butchers, and bakers are within walking distance, for larger shopping trips one has to drive about 10 minutes. The beach and the next larger town are a 5-minute drive away. We were completely satisfied and will gladly come back.

Holiday house with nice support

We spent 5 very nice days in Pitsidia and were really spoiled by Manolis. He once brought us a melon, then conjured up a super delicious omelette for breakfast, and pampered us with his cooking skills one evening. Frühling auf Kreta

We spent a week in April on Crete, and we loved it. The nature is beautiful, everything is in bloom, the people are friendly and relaxed. We also really liked the house, spacious and modern, decorated with many loving details and a large terrace. The kitchen is also very well equipped, with a coffee machine, kettle, toaster, waffle iron, and plenty of dishes. One evening, the landlord even cooked for all the guests. Very familial.

Relaxing dream vacation

We felt completely comfortable in the small piece of "paradise". Bärbel warmly welcomed us, and during the 14 days, she checked in on us regularly to ensure everything was fine. Manolis is hard to describe in words. A host like we have rarely met anyone. Creative mind behind the small property, the houses all individually built and furnished. Everything is there to spend a relaxing holiday. A highlight was the barbecue Manolis invited us to. Super delicious. He also kept showing up at the door with little surprises. Fantastic!

This was our second stay with Manolis - and it definitely won't be the last! Before arrival, we had speculated whether it would be just as beautiful the second time... and it was, even more so:
Manolis as a unique, warm-hearted host, Bärbel, who does a fantastic job and really takes excellent care of her guests, the place Pitsidia itself with all its lovely inhabitants! All of this is surely unique and absolutely not a matter of course! The excursion that Manolis and his wife organized for us guests ("Safari") was great and unforgettable! We learned so much more about the country, the people, and the southern Cretan way of life that anything else - like a hotel vacation - has become unimaginable for us!

Holiday with friends

Hospitality is truly lived here and can be felt every day:
- with a warm welcome upon late arrival at night,
- with quick and uncomplicated responses to small "extra" requests,
- with assistance in medical problems (minor swimming accident),
- with help after a car breakdown (flat tire),
- with an invitation to a barbecue evening (super delicious),
with... I could give at least one example for each day)
If there were more stars to give, I would gladly do so.
At this address, I am not sure if I might become a "repeat offender," which I have not done in any previous vacations. In any case, there is nothing against it.

Rustic luxurious accommodation

We had a great time in Pitsidia. The area is rural without mass tourism. You can get to know the countryside and people very well. The landlord is very nice and helpful and spoiled us with various local delicacies. The house is well equipped. We didn't miss anything. Kreta authentisch

Since 2010, we have been coming to Crete annually and have been guests of Manolis Pachakis.
