For the fourth time, we return completely inspired and mega relaxed from our vacation with Manolis. It was, as always, like coming "home." Super great holiday home to feel good

Super cozy, very stylish, equipped with everything you need and more, very well air-conditioned, mosquito protection on all windows, terrace and garden are top.
The cleanliness throughout the house and the grounds is remarkable.
Indescribable is the warmth and generosity of the owner and his helpers. I will definitely come back to this idyllic retreat.

Dreamlike as always!

Sunny family vacation

Highly recommended. We love Crete. We have already been to the island 3 times. Our holiday home with its own pool is always the highlight for us. Open the front door and jump into the pool. Everything is very clean and tidy. We always feel very comfortable and are well taken care of and looked after by Bärbel and Manolis. Any concerns are always tried to be resolved immediately. There is a lot to experience and the house is very centrally located. Quiet location. Ideal for families with children. Price-performance ratio is right.

Deceleration, relaxation, hospitality

Small cosy complex. Our house had 3 bedrooms, a large eat-in kitchen and 2 bathrooms. We had great weather and were able to have a relaxing meal on the covered terrace every day. The pool was wonderfully refreshing. We really enjoyed the local produce (honey and olive oil from family members of the landlord). Restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance. The contact via the friendly German-speaking contact person was helpful and very pleasant!

Already during the booking and travel preparations, we were well taken care of by Bärbel. The property is lovingly decorated, clean, and well-maintained. Host Manoli pampers you, with a full bowl of fruit or even an omelette with vegetables on the table. Arrive - Feel at Home - Vacation

We were very happy that we could spend our vacation again in Pitsidia in one of Manolis' houses during these times. We usually come every year because we love the place, Manolis' houses, and the surroundings so much. Like every year, the days were very relaxing and entertaining for us. Thanks to Bärbel, everything really works uncomplicatedly, she is always available. And Manolis always has a surprise up his sleeve. Our friends also really enjoyed it. A beautiful holiday home with a warm host

This accommodation on the outskirts of Pitsidia is a very lovingly and tastefully furnished holiday home. The equipment with dishes, pots, etc. is very good. The Wi-Fi and German cable TV work very well. Bärbel, our German-speaking contact person, was always supportive and helpful to us. Manolis, our Cretan host, spoiled us with a welcome meal right after our arrival. He constantly surprised us with local delicacies, such as pastries and... Fresh fruit, a fabulous fish meal, delicious omelets... With his honest hospitality, he quickly won over our hearts and we felt very comfortable. Evcharisto poli Manolis, we will definitely come back! From Pitsidia, you can easily reach wonderful beaches on foot or by car and can take fantastic hikes in the area. Despite tourism, the small village has preserved its original character.

Amazing vacation during corona times

Despite Corona, we had a fantastic holiday here with our children. There was nothing to criticize about our house. It is lovingly and individually furnished, with everything you need. The pool provided a lot of fun for our children. The village of Pitsidia has many restaurants, small shops, and is easily accessible on foot. But what made this holiday special was the warm hospitality of Manoli. On the first evening, he spoiled us with delicious food. And this should stay that way,
whether with fruit, olive oil, raki, or his barbecue with all the guests, where we also met nice people. We felt comfortable all around.
Many thanks also to Bärbel Lohmann, who always supported us with advice and action, especially when the question arose for us whether we should travel during Corona times.
We do not regret it!
That's why we are coming back and have reserved for next year, hopefully without Corona!

"Outstanding"

The location has "exceeded" our expectations. We discovered a beautiful, clean, very individual holiday home landscape. Each house had its own charm - ours even had a small pool. Particularly noteworthy is the owner Manolis, who is a true original even by Greek standards. With attention to detail and craftsmanship, as well as a creative approach as a master in woodworking, painting, building with Lemhausbau, etc. He has also excelled as a fantastic cook and loving host. Completely unorthodox, he has always served surprising delicacies according to his mood. From meat dishes to fish dishes, salads, omelets, fruit platters, and breakfast cereals, he has surprised almost every day. Of course, all with homemade olive oil, wines pressed by friends, and home-distilled raki. we were also invited and could only thank them with some wine - more was not accepted. He lovingly cares for many animals (ponies, goats, sheep, geese, chickens, pigeons). By the way, there is also a communal pool on site which is very well maintained!

Moreover, the village of Petsidia is within walking distance, very authentically Greek and not at all overrun by tourists. A small quiet place that also offered live music for 2 days, where one could dance. . . both folkloric and sometimes rock. So something for everyone.

Even the sea was only 5 minutes away by car or just a 1/2 hour walk. The beach was great, not overcrowded, and well prepared for the beach day with showers and snack bars.

Sights besides Mintos (caves) etc. Many things in the immediate surroundings. Hikes, also in beautiful gorges, freshwater lakes at the doorstep.

Simply everything perfect - even 1 week is enough to be re-grounded - great, recommendable, again and again!

Anytime to Manolis.

This was now the 3rd house that we rented from Manolis. Each house has its own charm and is individually and lovingly furnished. It is always a nice feeling of being welcome upon arrival. Bärbel is so warm and Manolis is a unique person. During the shared meals to which he invites his tenants, one gets to know his neighbors in an informal way. Nicki keeps the houses in tip-top condition and the rest of the family is also super nice. Once you've been here, you'll always come back! We've already spent many enjoyable hours here.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

We were with our nieces (10 and 13 years old) in this fantastic villa. We were warmly welcomed by Manoli and Bärbel on our arrival day, despite the late hour, and welcomed with a delicious Cretan meal. We enjoyed our time with our own small pool and the communal pool. The grounds are paradise-like with many plants and cacti. Manoli kept coming by with small treats. The children were thrilled by the dwarf pony Marianna and the sheep. We can highly recommend the house and the facility. It is very clean. The legendary communal meal with all guests prepared by Manoli and his family was super delicious. A big thank you to Manoli and Bärbel (manager). Thank you for the great time with you, see you next year.

We booked Villa Paradiso 2 for 2 weeks and did not regret it. The house is very lovingly and individually furnished and offers everything you need. Dream vacation in a beautiful setting

We had a dream vacation here without any restrictions. Bärbel with her lovely personality was unique. Even before the trip, she helped us immensely, and during our stay, she was always there immediately. Manolis is also an extremely lovable host. On the day of departure, he even made breakfast for our family. He is a kind soul, and all the houses were lovingly designed by him. By foot, you can quickly reach the town center, where there are many small shops and just as many great restaurants. The town is not overcrowded with tourists. The people are very nice and also very fond of children. The very well-kept house offers pure relaxation, and the pool is a dream! We will come back!

Highly recommended

The accommodation is wonderful. We stayed with two children aged 2 & 4 at Villa Paradiso 2. The house is beautiful, quiet, spacious, well-equipped, and cleaned at least once a week. However, even more crucial are the hosts Manolis and Bärbel, who have everything well organized and are always available if there are any questions. Manolis comes by almost daily with fresh fruits, vegetables, or delicious cooked meals, organizes food for the guests, and simply makes you feel very welcome there. He was incredibly sweet to the children, and the various animals and the large pool help to keep the children entertained. I can't think of anything we didn't love.

Urlaub mit Freunden und Kind

We booked our vacation with friends and one grandchild (7 years old) completely online. The handling/communication worked excellently, including arranging a rental car. The reception by the caretaker, Mrs. Lohmann, and the landlord was warm and friendly. We were immediately served with salad/drinks and a large omelette. The holiday home was tastefully decorated, clean, and fully equipped as described. Contact with the manager would have been possible at any time during our stay. The landlord spoiled us with delicacies (drinks, fruit, barbecue, and farewell dinner). The entire property is perfect for children (pool, animals, etc.) It should be booked by nature lovers and guests who prefer to travel individually. We can highly recommend the holiday resort.

For the second time, we stayed in a large group at the small, cozy, and family-run holiday complex managed by Manolis. The house is spacious and very artistically and individually designed. Even on rainy days, one can make themselves comfortable in the living kitchen with the fireplace. On-site, Bärbel takes care of the needs of the holidaymakers, always helpful, and speaks perfect German and Greek. Manolis loves the contact with his guests, and with his laid-back, typically Greek nature, he immediately connects with you.

Good presentation more than confirmed

If you are looking for a nice holiday flat in Pidsidia, you can't miss Manoli!
Nothing is missing in the flats. The German staff as well as the builder of the flats are always nice, obliging and helpful, as you can only wish for on holiday!
The imaginatively designed houses with tasteful furnishings and always artistic accents in between always bring an "Ahhh" effect! At this point, even as a German craftsman, hats off.
We hope that it will work out with our holiday planning in 2019 and that there is still a place free for us.

A great holiday from day 1.

We arrived with 3 couples and had a dream holiday. The house is just beautiful and you have 3 equal bedrooms for couples. The complex with 5 houses is very beautiful and well equipped. The villa has its own small pool which we enjoyed using. As with all our predecessors, the loving care of Bärbel, Nicki and Manolis deserves special mention. We were also spoiled with fruit, tomatoes, olive oil and omelette for breakfast. The location is ideal. In Pitsidia you can reach many restaurants on foot. The beach is very nice and you can get there in a few minutes by car. Matala can also be reached quickly by car.

We had a wonderful time in Villa Paradiso 2. The villa impressed us with its individual furnishings and cleanliness. The care provided by Bärbel is also worthy of praise
Manolis is a very generous host and surprised us almost every day with little things (melons, olive oil, eggs etc.). Also for us the highlight of this week was the barbecue with Manolis family and the other holiday guests.

Dream holiday in paradise

We were particularly lucky with Manolis Villa this holiday. The house and the neighbouring houses are conveniently located with excellent connections to the attractive village of Pitsidia. Both the individual furnishings and the cleanliness left nothing to be desired. Manolis showed us his great hospitality every day by spoiling us with specially prepared meals and fruit, and he always approached us in an interested and friendly manner. Language barriers were quickly overcome by openness and cordiality. Administrator Bärbel Lohmann was immediately on hand as soon as we had a concern or question. For children, the outdoor area with pool and playground equipment is absolutely attractive. The houses have been lovingly and artistically designed by Manoli and are highly recommended as a holiday home!

A tastefully furnished accommodation in a great location

The accommodation and the entire apartment complex are very tasteful and clean. The furnishings leave hardly anything to be desired. The owner has built all the apartments himself and very individually. There is a small pool, and some animals for the children to feed. The owner is a warm-hearted man who gifts his guests with oranges and olive oil, invites them for Raki drinking, and even invited us to a big Easter meal. The village center of Pitsidia is within walking distance. We will gladly come back soon!

The small, cozy holiday resort offers everything you need to feel comfortable and is absolutely recommendable. All houses are individually, creatively, and beautifully designed. Perfect vacation

We couldn't have wished for a better five weeks with Manoli, a loving and kind host. The house (with lovely details) is beautiful and cleaned weekly by the dear Niki.
Special mention must be made of the very nice and dedicated support from Bärbel. We could come to her with any concern.
Manoli's barbecues will be unforgettable. The animals on the farm were a highlight especially for the children. Pitsidia is located just a 5-minute drive from Komos Beach.

Great accommodation away from the mainstream!

We have been to this small property not for the first time and certainly not for the last time, and we thoroughly enjoyed it again (this time even with our parents who are over 80 years old). The landlord always manages to revive Cretan hospitality with his family and especially with the super nice and dedicated caretaker. If you enjoy a bit of unconventional variety in your holiday, you are always in good hands here. One can spend time in the complex (especially with children by the houses with a pool), the beach (Komos Beach) can be reached on foot or by car, breakfast and other meals can be taken in the house or at various taverns in Pitsidia within walking distance. And even though Matala is not far, the usual hustle and bustle is largely avoided. We keep coming back!

Restful vacation

The accommodation is clean and very creatively decorated. A beautiful atmosphere with communal barbecue evenings and a very friendly family connection. We were perfectly looked after in the accommodation by B. Lohmann, who also speaks fluent Greek. All in all, a great vacation!
