Nice house

Very clean, located in a quiet small village. Garden with lemon trees and prickly pear cactus. Grocery store and bakery just a few steps away. Ideal for exploring the surroundings (Matala, Phaistos, beautiful Agiofaraggo Gorge). Bärbel, who was the contact person with Manolis, was very responsive. We recommend.

A wonderful spot!

House and garden offer everything you need for a relaxing stay. The location is great, Pitsidia is a beautiful village and an ideal starting point for many explorations. The stay is perfectly organized and the host is very welcoming. Highly recommended without reservation!

Lovely house surrounded by lemon and almond trees.

Lovingly designed house in the green and yet centrally located and quiet. Surrounded by citrus trees, almonds, olives and red pepper trees. Simply a place to feel good and relax. We lacked nothing. Manolis is a very lovable landlord and host with genuine Cretan hospitality. He invited us and his other holiday guests to a beautiful, delicious joint evening. An offer that is close to his heart. We thank Bärbel for her nice, uncomplicated and reliable care. We look forward to being able to linger there again soon.

Easter in Pitsidia

We stayed in Pitsidia for 11 days in April 2023. The house is beautiful and we felt at home from the first moment. The church of the village is opposite and we could watch the Easter celebration from the balcony. The seating area in front of the house and the small garden around it is a secluded spot, especially in spring when everything is green and in bloom. The equipment of the house is perfect, e.g. there were nice warm blankets in the bedrooms and wood for the fireplace, the kitchen was equipped with everything you need. Manolis is a great host who provided us several times with delicious food and with fresh salad and vegetables from his garden, Bärbel took care of everything else quite wonderfully. Thank you very much for that!

Manolis* little paradise garden

Away from the very touristy Matala in tranquil Pitsidia lies the little paradise garden with pomegranate, orange and olive trees. Here in Villa Pachakis we spent 10 wonderful days in beautiful summer weather in late autumn. The house is a dream: you can tell that an artist has been lost on Manolis, who built everything himself! It is very tastefully built and furnished. Everything is very clean and we wanted for nothing. Within walking distance you can reach the small cosy market place, where you can sit outside and dine excellently in a typical Greek ambience. The contact to Bärbel and Manolis is very uncomplicated and they always have an open ear. A clear recommendation!

Well cared for

Even though our holiday in Villa Pachakis is already a few weeks behind us, we like to remember the relaxing time there. This time our special thanks go to Nikki, who cleans and looks after the house so well that we never notice that someone has moved out just before. Pure tranquillity

Villa Pachakis is unique. The house was built and furnished with much love and individuality. The location is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet. There are beautiful beaches nearby and many possibilities for day trips. Manoli's hospitality is second to none, thank you very much for the delicious dinner and the excellent olive oil. We are already looking forward to seeing you again.

Villa Pachakis Kreta

Bereits der nette und freundliche Empfang von Bärbel und Manoli hat uns das Gefühl von Urlaub und Herzlichkeit vermittelt.
Wer Standardzimmer nicht mag ist hier Bestens aufgehoben. Das Häuschen sprüht nur so vor Individualität und tausend liebevollen Details.
Alles was für den täglichen Gebrauch nötig ist, ist auch vorhanden (ohne das man am Tag der Ankunft noch schnell einkaufen müsste).
Restaurants/Tavernen und mehrere Geschäfte für eine gute Selbstversorgung finden sich fast nebenan.
Auch ein Spaziergang zum Strand ist leicht möglich.
Mit einem Mietauto kann man sehr gut den Rest der schönen Insel erkunden. 
Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder.

Wohlfühl-Domizil in Pitsidia

Ein sehr angenehmer Ort um zu entschleunigen und den Alltag zu hinter sich zu lassen. Es ist möglich zu Fuß zum Strand zu gehen und das Dorf bietet alles was man braucht. Die Gastfreundschaft von Manolis samt Familie und Freunden ist überaus willkommend und offenherzig. Bärbel hat sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert und auf alle kleinen Fragen sofort reagiert. Das Grundstück ist abgeschirmt, aber nicht abseits vom Dorf. Die Villa ist individuell und zeigt vielgestaltigen künstlerischen Ausdruck. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Entspannung PUR!

Jassas Ihr Lieben!
Wir haben Ruhe gesucht und gefunden.
Die Villa Pachakis bietet alles, was man so braucht (vom Zahnstocher bis zum Holzkohlengrill).
Sie hat ihren eigenen Charme, wir haben uns auf Anhieb wohlgefühlt.
Manolis, auf diesem Wege nochmals ein herzliches Dankeschön für die hervorragende Fasolaika und Dein superleckeres Omelett, das Du uns spontan vorbeigebracht hast.
Bärbel war unsere Ansprechpartnerin in allen Fragen.
Unsere Gespräche vor unserer Anreise waren toll, so konnten Fragen schon im Vorfeld geklärt werden;

Sehr schöner Kreta-Urlaub

Liebe Bärbel - lieber Manolis!
vielen Dank, dass wir das schöne Haus für unseren Urlaub mieten konnten.
Der Kontakt von Anfang an war herzlich, unkompliziert und immer zeitnah.
Alle Beschreibungen des Hauses und der Umgebung haben gestimmt. Die nahen Strände waren wunderschön und auch die Ausflüge haben viel Spass gemacht.
Man konnte wunderbar im Ort Essen gehen oder im nahen Supermarkt oder Metzgerei Frisches einkaufen. Leider haben wir Manolis´ Einladung zum Barbecue wegen unserer müden Kinder verpasst. Nochmal Danke für die tolle Geburtstagstorte! Wir haben uns sehr gefreut, euch kennen gelernt zu haben und hoffen auf ein Wiedersehen. Herzliche Grüße an Euch. Barbara und Familie

Villa Pachakis

Die Villa ist wunderschön eingerichtet und man kann sich sehr wohl fühlen. Man hat alles was man braucht, Supermärkte sind 1 min zu Fuß entfernt, zum Strand sind es nur ca 5 min mit dem Auto. Insgesamt hatten wir eine wunderschöne Zeit und können die Villa nur weiterempfehlen! Auch ein Dank an Manolis und Bärbel für ihre Gastfreundlichkeit.

Schönes sehr besonderes Haus mit tollem Gastgeber

Wir sind nach 40 Jahren erstmalig wieder mal nach Pitsidia gekommen und haben uns bei Manolis rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und durch Manolis haben wir das, was wir noch unter griechischer Gastfreundschaft in Erinnerung hatten, erleben können.
Auch die Verwaltung incl. Taxi und Autovermittlung ist durch Bärbel einfach super gut organisiert und nett. Sehr schön, dass es das noch gibt. Und vor allem Menschen wie Manolis und Bärbel noch gibt.
Wir haben uns in den 10 Tagen rundum wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder.

Schöne Ferien in der Villa Pachakis

Die Lage der Villa Pachakis ist perfekt. Sie liegt mitten im Ort und ist trotzdem ruhig und abgeschieden. Es sind nur wenige Meter zu Fuß zu den Restaurants von Pitsidia. Das Haus ist liebevoll und funktional eingerichtet, mit allen was man so braucht. Immer wieder entdeckt man eine schöne Handwerksarbeit. Vom Balkon hat man einen schönen Blick über die gesamte Umgebung, aber auch die Terrasse lädt zum Verweilen ein.
Bärbel hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns bei Fragen kompetent weitergeholfen und hat uns sogar unsere vergessenen Utensilien zurück nach Deutschland gesendet. Die Kommunikation mit ihr funktionierte von Anfang an reibungslos.
Manolis ist ein wundervoller Gastgeber und hat uns zum Barbecue mit allen anderen Gästen mit unzähligen regionalen Köstlichkeiten eingeladen. Er hat uns das Gefühl gegeben, willkommen zu sein.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr angenehmes Ferienhaus

Es war unser erster Aufenthalt auf Kreta. Von Anfang an spürten wir die Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft der Managerin Bärbel und des Inhabers Manoli. Das Haus hatte alles was eine Ferienunterkunft braucht und bei Fragen stand Bärbel zur Verfügung. Gutes Infomaterial über Sehenswürdigkeiten, Wanderungen, Ausflüge und Strände waren uns eine sehr gute Orientierung. Im Ort gab es alles was man für erholsamen Urlaub benötigt. Wir fühlten uns rund herum zufrieden und wohl.

Eine Woche im Paradies

Wir haben uns in Manolis' Villa Pachakis rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist wunderschön gestaltet, mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten. Das Highlight für uns war die Terrasse, auf der wir viel Zeit verbracht haben. Es ist herrlich ruhig, weil das Haus allein steht. Es ist aber nicht abgeschieden, man ist zu Fuß ganz schnell im Ortskern, bei den Tavernen und den kleinen Supermärkten. Manolis hat uns und seine anderen Gäste (er vermietet noch weitere Häuser in Pitsidia) sogar zum Barbecue eingeladen und uns fürstlich bewirtet. Wir kommen wieder und können die Villa Pachakis nur empfehlen. Danke, Manolis und Bärbel!

Orte wie dieser........

Wenn Entspannung ein Ort wäre, würde er Villa Pachakis auf Kreta heißen. Das Haus ist eins zu eins wie auf den Fotos zu sehen. Die schattigen Plätze am Haus luden in der Hitze zu Ausruhen und Lesen ein. Pitsidia selbst ein ruhiges Dorf mit freundlichen Einwohnern und wunderbaren Tavernen.
Manoli Pachakis ist ein Vermieter, dem eine wohnliche und auch traditionelle Einrichtung wichtig ist, um seinen Gästen Griechische Wohnkultur näherzubringen. Unserer besonderer Dank gilt Bärbel Lohmann, die immer fröhlich und charmant die Zügel der Verwaltung in der Hand hielt und zur Stelle war, wenn Fragen aufkamen. Vielen Dank für den wunderbaren Urlaub von Bettina und Thorsten Helgers

Like coming home...

This is the seventh time we have been to Pitsidia and we just can't get away from Manoli....
It is really great how warmly and friendly we have been received, welcomed, supported, fed and perceived since our first visit. Manoli, his family and Bärbel perform their duties as hosts so well that you just have to feel at home.
This year we spent a few days in Villa Pachakis, which lacks nothing and also exudes that special charm of all Manoli's houses. We also enjoyed the wonderful location in the village and the peace and quiet, which is interrupted at most by a few crowing roosters. Pitsidia is a lovely and charming little village that is not overloaded by tourism. We love it!

We love it!

We had two wonderful weeks with Manolis in Pitsidia for the second time. This time we stayed in Villa Pachakis and found it ideal. The house is in the middle of the village, surrounded by a Cretan garden with a very cosy outdoor seating area. Despite the central location, you have the feeling of being completely undisturbed. In the evenings, we often marvelled at the starry sky from the balcony. A large paddling pool was organised for the children, which provided a lot of fun. We were also able to use the great pool facilities at the other holiday homes. Manolis is an unbelievably warm host and the wonderful time we had with him will stay with us for a long time. Bärbel was always there to help with questions and requests and greatly enriched our stay. Thank you very much, dear ones!

Holiday in Monoli's World !!!

In the small village there is romantic main square music on selected evenings, the food is so good in the many small restaurants that we did not even want to cook ourselves. It takes just 5 minutes to get to the beach in Matala, and there is plenty of choice in the immediate vicinity for those who like it less touristy. But the best thing was Manoli's world! The host has lovingly built and artistically designed his houses! That makes for a good mood and holiday spirit. And it can happen that Manoli is suddenly standing in front of the door, a pan with fresh egg dish in his hand... The barbecue evening for his guests, which takes place once a week, is fixed and unbelievably good
Everything is as in the pictures, well kept and the location of the house is optimal: solitary, so without neighbours and central.

ganz toller Urlaub

Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit auf Kreta. Wir haben uns bei Euch sehr wohl gefühlt, wie bei einem Besuch bei guten Freunden. Die Unterkunft war sehr geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Lage des Hauses kam unserem Bedürfnis nach Erholung entgegen. Da sich das Haus auf einem großen Grundstück befindet, kann man trotz der zentralen Lage die dörfliche Ruhe genießen.

herrliche Urlaubszeit

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Villa Pachakis verbringen können. Das Haus hat uns auf Anhieb sehr gut gefallen und wir fühlten uns vom ersten Moment an heimisch. Das freistehende Haus liegt mitten im Dorf, ist aber etwas abseits und somit verhältnismäßig ruhig gelegen. Die Villa ist künstlerisch toll gestaltet - überall findet man wunderschöne Details. Manoli (Gastgeber) und Bärbel, die alles verwaltet, waren sehr gastfreundlich und stets um unser Wohl bemüht. Beim Barbeque konnten wir auch die anderen Gäste in lockerer Runde bei leckerm Essen kennen lernen. Vielen lieben Dank für alles.

Sonne, Strand und Herzlichkeit

Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Wochen im liebevoll eingerichteten Haus Pachakis verbracht. Die Lage war super, das Haus komplett ausgestattet, mit allem, was man braucht, und Bärbel hat uns sehr gut beraten und betreut - wir waren wunschlos glücklich! Manolis ist zudem als Gastgeber an Herzlichkeit kaum zu überbieten, extrem tüchtig und hilfsbereit und zudem auch noch ein super Koch ;-P!! Vielen Dank nochmal für alles - auch bei der unerwarteten Pannenhilfe am letzten Tag - und auf hoffentlich ganz bald!

Super

Sehr gute liebevolle deutschsprachige Betreuung von An- bis Abreise. Extrem gastfreundlicher Vermieter. Sehr sauber. Günstige Allein-Lage auf großem Grundstück, d.h. keine Tür-an-Tür Nachbarn. Wir konnten die Seele baumeln lassen und kommen jederzeit gerne wieder!
