Summer holiday in Pitsidia

Manoli, the house keeper is a very nice man with several beautiful houses which garantee give you a cery special summer holiday feeling. With a nice poole and the Kommos Beach in 10 minutes by car. Also Pitsidia is a, small, but lovely town with plenty of fine restaurants and a licely square. Manolis place is the place to be in Pitsidia!!

Individual feel-good place

We were for the second time at Manolis and were once again completely satisfied. The booking with Bärbel, the administrator, works super well. Every question, every wish is answered promptly in advance and if possible fulfilled. The villa is a dream of individuality. The furnishings and furniture were selected by Manolis himself or even artistically created or refined by him. Our landlord Manolis is very concerned about his guests. The weekly barbecue with all the residents of his holiday apartments serves the purpose of getting to know each other and spoils with Cretan delicacies.
We will come back because it is simply beautiful.

A place to feel good

Our holiday home was very cozy, a mix of old and modern. Designed and built with great attention to detail and unique charm by Mr. Manolis Pachakis himself. We have been there for the 3rd time now, each time in a different house and each one is beautiful. The house is located in a small garden with a terrace, a large table, and a hammock. It's simply a piece of art!!!

Whoever has been here once, always comes back

I have now spent my fifth vacation at this wonderful place and can only recommend it from the bottom of my heart.

Like all of Manoli's houses, Villa Kokkino Skufitza is lovingly furnished, with so many details. In addition, you can relax in the house's small garden in the hammock, and for a refreshing dip, there is a communal pool available. You immediately feel comfortable.

Hospitality is highly valued here, to the extent that you could almost think you are part of the family. Manoli takes care of his guests with great care and regularly conjures up delicious traditional Greek dishes on the table. He also has a special talent for bringing all his guests together, which leads to new, great encounters time and again.

The surroundings are quiet and away from crowded tourist areas. Everything you need is within walking distance. Supermarket, bakery, great breakfast places, as well as evening venues with Greek live music.

To explore the island even better, we always rent a car to be able to discover as many places as possible. Bärbel is always there to assist us with advice and support. However, you could also walk to the nearby Komos beach.

The city of Matala, which can be easily reached by bus, is also highly recommended.

Whether it's for families, couples, or girls' vacations, there is something for everyone.

One thing is for sure, once you are here, you don't want to go home anymore.

At home on vacation - you couldn't feel any better!

We have now been on holiday in one of Manolis' dream holiday houses for the third time, and there is a reason why we would never look elsewhere in Crete. His houses are super creative and lovingly furnished, and the atmosphere in the beautiful holiday house area is absolutely relaxed and allows enough privacy between the units. Manolis, Bärbel and Niki make you feel like you are finally coming home with their warmth and hospitality, and the everyday stress falls away as soon as you arrive. The sweet Villa Kokkino Skufiza is completely sufficient for us (2 adults and 1 teenager), the pool is wonderful and well maintained, and the area is quiet, with the village just a short walk away. A holiday to keep dreaming about.

Comfortable atmosphere

ManolIs is really very hospitable; Bärbel, who organized everything on site, fulfilled every wish for us (like children's toys, extra bedding, etc.). She was also always there for us when we had questions. Overall, a familial atmosphere, and ManolIs also likes to cook for his guests in his beautiful outdoor kitchen. The apartment is lovingly designed and has a very pleasant indoor climate due to its natural construction. We felt very comfortable. Everything is within walking distance on the outskirts of Pitsidia, such as supermarkets, restaurants, and bakeries. With a child, it takes about 40 minutes to walk to the idyllic and expansive beach, so I would recommend a car or bike. The area around Pitsidia also offers some sights and excursion destinations. Gladly again!

Crete vacation only with Manolis.

We have been to Crete with friends for the fifth time now. Specifically, we come early in the year to experience spring on Crete and escape late winter in Germany. Everything is still fresh and green and everywhere it blooms and smells wonderful. We went on daily beautiful hikes. Sunny beach days at 16 degrees Celsius water temperature were also on the schedule. There is nothing new to add to the incomparable hospitality and warmth of Manolis, his family, and also Bärbel, who is always there to help. We also had the opportunity to visit and admire Manolis' latest masterpiece -The Artist House. This house is particularly suitable for larger groups who want to experience a shared vacation, while still having their own privacy. See you soon.

Warm hospitality in a great atmosphere.

We had a wonderful holiday at Manolis' place, his houses are very beautiful and unique, the pool was dearly loved by the whole family, and Manolis and his family welcomed us very warmly, we felt very comfortable. The language barrier was not a problem thanks to the lovely Bärbel. She was available around the clock and always ready to help. She organized our stay perfectly. Our daughter was surprised on her birthday with good wishes and gifts from all sides, a great day! Pitsidia is a wonderful place for a quiet and delicious holiday, the small diverse restaurants have thrilled us very much. 5 stars.

Vacation in a special place

We spent two wonderful weeks in the villa with our two young children (3 and 6 years old). The garden is an oasis in the otherwise dry landscape and invites relaxation with a hammock and two deck chairs. The garden is fenced, and the huge pool shared with 2 other villas is a few steps away from the house, providing some protection for the young children. Manolis and Bärbel took great care of us, from the BBQ evening to all our small and big special requests and tips and tricks. Two really very warm hosts. You feel like a guest at friends' place. We were there without a rental car and used taxis to get to the beach (<10 euros one way). You can also quickly walk to the village with young children and have numerous good restaurants to choose from. A large supermarket is also within walking distance. The beaches can be reached by car in about 15 minutes. This is a truly special place. From the original house to the self-built umbrellas at the pool, you can see Manolis' creativity and industriousness everywhere. Highly recommended!

A perfect vacation with children.

We had an incredibly beautiful holiday. 4 adults and 2 children (5 years old). The accommodation had everything you need. It's not luxurious, rather rustic, but that doesn't affect the ambiance. The owner Manoli is a doer with a heart, he makes everything simply familial. Bärbel takes care of everything, whether it's questions about the area and surroundings or if something is missing in the accommodation. If you've never been to Greece, she's the woman who gives you security. We will definitely come back. Thank you, Manoli and Bärbel, for this beautiful vacation.

Wonderful vacation in Pitsidia with a mini farm

Very nice holiday home in the style of Little Red Riding Hood, lovingly decorated and color-coordinated. Everything is very well maintained and clean, thanks to Niki. Arrive, unpack, and feel good. Dreamlike garden with seating, beautiful, large communal pool with loungers and umbrellas. Great host who often conjured up delicious treats. Very, very warmly! Every wish was fulfilled. And not to forget, the dear Bärbel as the caretaker, always with good tips on site. We have been there 4 times now, also 2 times in Paradiso 2 (also highly recommended) and will gladly come back. It is like coming home every time.

For many years, we have been staying in one of the houses that Manolis created and built with a lot of love and effort. Each house has its own unique style but is still optimally furnished and very clean, thanks to Nicki. The overall design of the complex, the generously built communal pool, the weekly barbecue, the numerous recommendations and activities, and the caring support from Bärbel always make our vacation perfect again and again. In Kokkinos Skufiza, you can experience a very special living climate. Our boys (15) have felt particularly comfortable there for years and would not want to miss this autumn vacation for anything in the world. Thank you all, see you next October!

We were in Pitsidia for the second time at Manolis's and spent 11 wonderful days at Villa Kokkino Skufitza. Thank you for the lovely time in Crete. Manolis is a perfect host. At home with friends

After our dream vacation in Villa Warka in October 2018, the decision was quickly made: We are coming back. And then, we also managed to persuade 4 of our friends, excited by our stories, to discover the island of Crete. Traveling with friends is even more fun, and the beautiful holiday complex designed with great attention to detail by Manolis is ideal for groups. And Manolis, with his warm hospitality, simply delights everyone. We can't imagine Crete without Manolis anymore. This time we chose Villa Kokkino Skufitza (Little Red Riding Hood), a house built of clay and wood. Just like in Villa Warka, the spirit of Manolis lives here, who built and decorated the house with much love and imagination. Fantastic holiday with a guarantee to repeat

We spent a wonderful holiday in the holiday home with our two daughters (4 and 6 years old). The house is located in a small complex, which is very caringly and lovingly maintained by Manolis and his team. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The room layout is ideal and we especially enjoyed the terrace and garden. The communal pool was a highlight for all of us and provided cooling several times a day. Manolis and his family provided a great holiday experience with their unique hospitality. Our daughters were always welcome to help feed the animals. The communal barbecue was another highlight. Bärbel provided us with very helpful tips and suggestions for nice excursions.

It was wonderful!

We had a fantastic time at the very special Villa Kokkino Skufitza! The accommodation is a real experience with all the artistic and practical details. We stayed with two small children and the mother-in-law in the villa and had plenty of space. The outdoor area with veranda and garden is delightful, and the hammock was thoroughly enjoyed. Wonderful!

We were the very first to live in the new house. It combines everything that landlord Manolis stands for: great ideas, a sense of the special, and creativity. It's fun to look at the many details. The indoor climate is very pleasant. It's nice that the bedrooms with their own bathroom are on the right and left, so, for example, two couples can have their own space and meet in the living kitchen. The garden with lawn and paddling pool is great; sometimes even a peacock comes to visit. We were for the 3rd time at the small holiday resort of 5 houses and our daughter, 5, and we feel very comfortable. Pitsidia is wonderful, with good restaurants. The beach is also very beautiful. Thanks to Manolis, his lovely family, and the great care of Bärbel, we enjoyed our time very much and will come back.
