The house is very comfortable and modern furnished. Ground floor: large living area that combines a modern kitchen, dining area with very large, solid wooden table and living area. The spacious gallery in the attic offers a sleeping accommodation with two double beds opposite. Of course, the living room shines with a wood-burning stove and LCD TV, stereo and DVD player; from the adjoining bathroom you can access the garden sauna via the covered terrace. Beautiful large garden. Basement: entrance area with ski storage, bathroom with experience shower, WC, 3 double bedrooms. The chalet is modernly equipped.

Location and surroundings of object
This beautifully situated wooden house with a magnificent view of the Salzburg Dolomites is located in the middle of the 'Dachstein-West' ski area at an altitude of approx. 900 m. You can easily reach the house by car and from there you can ski to the slopes, which are right next to the house. The skiing area includes about 152 km of slopes and has about 52 lifts.

The payment of the rent is only possible in Euro. Payments in other currency must be agreed in advance with the landlord of 200 € will be refunded immediately upon proper return. At the time of booking 30% of the total cost is due, final payment is due 4 weeks before the start of the holiday. |

Great!
We spent 10 wonderful days at Chalet Donnerkogel.
It is a cosy, well-maintained chalet.
The bedrooms are downstairs, so it stays nice and cool in summer and it is pleasant to sleep.
Upstairs is the living room and kitchen, from there you can easily get to the terrace and the sauna, from the bathroom upstairs there is a direct passage to the sauna, which is very convenient and well thought out.
A small staircase from the living room leads to 4 more sleeping places, it is an open space.
The kitchen: super equipped! All appliances work perfectly and are well maintained. Pots, pans, dishes, glasses...everything is there and in good condition. Here you can cook like at home ;-))

The living room with a comfortable corner sofa, TV, radio (also available in both bathrooms). WLAN works great.

Mr Michael Schlammer/landlord is a very nice, considerate and obliging person. A few weeks before our arrival, he informed us about the construction site above the chalet (which he only found out about a few days before) and gave us a discount so that we could decide whether to go or cancel the trip
As the situation with Covid was draining all our energy, we decided to go on holiday anyway. And we didn't regret it in any way (the construction work only disturbed us a little))
We went on wonderful walks every day and always enjoyed coming back to the chalet in the afternoon to relax!)
Our dog also felt very comfortable, especially on the meadow in front of the terrace.
We highly recommend the chalet and would love to come back!
