Description
The open-plan living area with adjoining kitchen is generously proportioned. The fireplace integrated into the living room creates a cosy atmosphere. In the kitchen you will find an oven, a freezer, a refrigerator, a cooker with ceramic hob, a toaster, a kettle, etc. Of course, the dishwasher is a must in this house. There is also a dining table with chairs on the ground floor. You reach the upper floor via a curved staircase, at the end of which a spacious gallery awaits you. The open hallway leads to the adjoining bedrooms, each for two people. The beds in the respective bedrooms are 1.60m x 2.00m and 1.40m x 2.00m in size. For the little ones, there is a highlight in the form of a loft bed in one of the bedrooms, which can be reached via a separate ladder. The very openly designed house has another cosy bedroom (1.60m x 2.00m) and a bathroom in the lower area. In the utility room you will find a washing machine. The entire house is supplied by gas heating, whereby the entire lower area is equipped with underfloor heating.
From the living room you can access a beautiful terrace designed with Bangkirai wood, where a large table with matching chairs invites you to linger. Two parking spaces are available free of charge directly in front of the house.

Location and surroundings of object
This holiday home has a total area of 120sqm and is located on a fenced, 1500sqm plot in the centrally located village of Kasnevitz, not far from the white town of Putbus. The house is in the second row, so you will find the necessary peace and quiet after your excursions on the island of Rügen. The small village of Kasnevitz, a district of the municipality of Putbus, is located in the south-western part of the island of Rügen near the Greifswalder Bodden. The small town of Garz is approx. 7 km away in a westerly direction via the German Alleestraße. To the east, approx. 3 km, the old capital of the island of Putbus, with shopping facilities, gastronomy, railway station, theatre and the wildlife park.
An eye-catcher in Kasnevitz is the neo-Gothic church of St. James. In the almost flat landscape of fields and meadows, the church tower, built in 1864, is visible from afar.

House Himmelgrau
We were able to spend a wonderful holiday on the island of Rügen for a week.
The holiday home is very tastefully decorated and well equipped. With breakfast in the green on the terrace in the sunshine and with bird chirping, the day can only start well.
By car, you can quickly reach Binz and also Ralswiek. Störtebeker should not be missed on Rügen. Sassnitz with a boat trip to the chalk cliffs is also an experience. Also worth seeing is the white town of Putbus, make sure to stop by the Milchmädchen farm shop there. A visit to the submarine restaurant "Nautilus" is also highly recommended.
We were once again enthusiastic and will certainly not be the last time on Rügen.

Highly recommended
A beautiful spacious, well-equipped house in a quiet location. The large fenced garden is ideal for holidays with dogs. The house is conveniently located so that it is an ideal starting point to explore the island with its beaches and sights. We stayed there for the third time in a row :-)

Very beautiful holiday
The house is nice and big, with a large garden.
From there, everything can be reached in a few minutes. The nearest shopping facilities are in Putbus or Garz. Everything is no problem by car. The Roland train also runs from Putbus to the seaside resorts.
We enjoyed it very much and will definitely visit again.

Beautiful holiday house on a great plot

Great house?
The house is modern and very cozy furnished. From the first to the last minute we felt very comfortable. Nothing was missing from the equipment. Cleanliness is very important to the landlords. A feel-good oasis for humans & dogs
We were allowed to spend over a week in Diana's beautiful holiday domicile! We have two Spanish greyhounds that are relatively large, but this was not a problem in the house. Our arrival request was taken into consideration very kindly, and the key handover was very easy. The house was perfectly clean and heated when we arrived at night, the kitchen was fantastically equipped, and everything was very cozy and stylishly furnished. Our dogs really liked the (fenced-in, under 1.50m) garden and had plenty of space to run and sniff. The location of the house is simply perfect. We would love to come back.

Vacation on Rügen
We were able to spend a completely relaxed and restful vacation with three generations (grandmother, grandfather; parents, child) in this wonderfully and lovingly furnished house by the owners!
It was also very relaxing, but also interesting, to live in this very digitalized world without things like internet, Netflix or similar, as they were not available in this house. However, we liked that very much!
The very warm-hearted owners of the house were always courteous to us with advice and assistance (e.g. finding a workshop for a flat tire on the car), as well as numerous recommendations for restaurants or attractions. That alone would deserve five stars.
Closing words and conclusion: We felt welcome in every way with the owner and in the house! A completely successful, relaxing vacation in a great environment. Many thanks.

Holiday with 2 dogs
We stayed in a super top-equipped house with 2 dogs. Clean, all equipment available, fireplace, fenced property, nice neighbors, large garden. Everything your heart desires. Unfortunately, there is hardly any phone reception or internet there. But we were there to relax. Nice rental. Shopping facilities nearby. Highly recommended for dog owners.

We have become regular guests!
We were in the truly very, very beautiful house for the third time, and we will come back in September! A paradise for dog lovers like us. The landlords are very fond of animals, and everything is suitable for dogs. But there are also amenities for a slightly more upscale taste. We fell in love not only with the cottage but also with Rügen with a dog. Absolutely recommendable for everyone!

Just like holiday should be.
This is how a vacation should be. We booked this beautiful house for a week and felt super comfortable all around. Nothing is missing. The furnishings of the rooms and the kitchen are really very good. Everything is decorated with a lot of attention to detail. Especially great is the large fenced garden, which is a hit for us as dog owners. Warm up by the cozy fireplace after extensive playtime in the garden. Just great. Shopping in the nearby Putbus, Lauterbach, or Bergen. Also very good restaurants in the area. You have to experience the surrounding nature with very well-marked hiking trails. The location of the house is perfect for excursions and easily accessible from the mainland. It was again an incredibly beautiful holiday and the start of the year 2017. Loving home
In late summer, we spent a wonderful week on the island of Rügen. We were warmly welcomed at our vacation house "Himmelgrau" - with 4 adults, a toddler, and our dog.
The very spacious garden is ideal for dogs and children. The open terrace also invited us to linger and have barbecue evenings.
The house is lovingly furnished and superbly equipped - just like a home. The rooms were very clean, welcoming, and cozy. All excursions, supermarkets, and restaurants are easily accessible from Kasnevitz.
We will now return regularly; it was a wonderful family vacation. Although we are not sure yet whether our dog felt most comfortable with all of us. :)

Absolutely recommendable
We had a very nice time in this wonderfully furnished holiday home. We and our two Australian Shepherds felt comfortable immediately. The large, fenced garden is ideal for a successful holiday with dogs, and the entire island is perfect for long walks. Super nice landlords who could give us very nice recommendations. Top!!!

Super Haus
Very pet-friendly house with plenty of space for the dog. Putbus, Stralsund, and Binz are reachable within a few minutes. Great furnishings in the house. One can consider going there again.

Perfekter Urlaub im Haus Himmelgrau
We (2 adults + 1 baby) spent just under a week at Himmelgrau House. The holiday home has all the amenities that one is accustomed to from home. The equipment is modern and complete. The house is very lovingly furnished, which sets it apart positively from other holiday homes. The landlords supported us with advice and action and gave us great excursion tips. The beautiful seaside resorts of Rügen (Binz, Selin, ...) are easily accessible by car. You can also find several supermarkets, bakeries, etc. about 4 km away (in Putbus). Conclusion: A wonderful holiday on a great island in a fantastic holiday home. We will come back!
