To explain, Papenburg is on the border of East Frisia, and since we are both native East Frisians, we decided on this name.
In our beautiful little town of Papenburg there is an upper and a lower end. The location of the holiday flat is roughly in the middle. It takes about 30 minutes on foot or 10 minutes by bike to reach the different parts of the town.
Due to its location, Papenburg is also ideal for many excursions. It is about 20 kilometres to the Dutch border. The gateway to East Frisia, the beautiful town of Leer with its old town worth seeing, is also only 20 kilometres away. In addition, the North Sea coast, the picturesque Greetsiel, can be reached within 1 to 1.5 hours by car. An excursion to the East Frisian islands is also an option. Dankern Castle, Cloppenburg Museum Village, Thüle Zoo, to name but a few. We have a wide range of brochures available.

Idyllic flat
The flat is very suitable for wheelchair users. The only problem was getting to the wardrobe with the wheelchair, but after we moved the bed, that was also possible. The bathroom is wonderfully large and suitable for people with physical impairments.
The terrace and the view of the pond are a dream.
The bakery and a grocery shop are within 10 minutes walking distance.
The landlords are very nice and helpful.

Very nice apartment in a quiet location with friendly, reserved landlords.
The apartment matches exactly the description of the landlord. There are many activities to do. Bicycles are very advantageous, as there is a well laid out and well-signposted network of cycling paths.

Everything absolutely TOP. Super clean and good equipment. Just as described. Clean fresh bathroom and cozy, fresh-smelling bed. We felt very comfortable.
