Location and surroundings of object
The holiday resort Bergen is located in a valley at the edge of the Alps and is easily accessible via a motorway connection and a train stop. In Bergen and the surrounding area you can undertake many beautiful cycling and mountain tours. The Hochfelln cable car in town offers you a quick, convenient way to the summit with a magnificent view over the Chiemgau and Lake Chiemsee.
Lake Chiemsee is only about 10 minutes by car from Betti’s bungalow. There are numerous bathing lakes in the area. The Tütensee was formed by a meteorite impact. A beautiful walking path leads around the lake, which is surrounded by forest and also has a beach and a nice restaurant.
The outdoor pool, which is open from May to September, is only 100 m from Betti’s bungalow.
From Betti’s bungalow you can take lovely walks into the nature reserve and the surrounding area. Special excursion options: Ruhpolding, Reit im Winkl, Berchtesgaden with Königsee, Almbachklamm, Salzburg, Herrenchiemsee Palace, Heinz von Stein’s cave castle, etc.
Visit our Maxhütte museum. There is a mini-golf course in town as well as a nicely designed spa park, a bakery with café and breakfast options, and several restaurants are available.

Vacation like with friends
We were able to spend a pleasantly quiet and very relaxed week at Bettis Bungalow as a couple with our dog during the New Year's transition 2024/2025. We wanted to spare our 12 1/2-year-old dog grandpa from the fireworks in the big city this time. Due to his age-related arthritis, we searched for a barrier-free accommodation and were very happy to have found such a suitable place with Bettis Bungalow. The landlady warmly welcomed all three of us and is extremely hospitable. She lives right next door, is always available, and is dedicated to the well-being of her guests. As a greeting, there was a bottle of good sparkling wine, and as a farewell, a jar of homemade blackcurrant jam from Bettis Bungalow garden.
Bettis Bungalow is well-kept and was sparkling clean upon our arrival. The house is generously laid out and equipped with high-quality furnishings, as well as being functionally decorated. In keeping with the season, it was lovingly decorated, with some fresh branches and cones in the kitchen and living room, and candles provided a cozy atmosphere. The highlight is the electrically operated fireplace in the living room. From the living room and bedroom, one enjoys a stunning view of the mountains. The well-maintained garden around the house directly adjoins an idyllic stream and is completely fenced. Additionally, a lockable single garage is available.
The location is very quiet, the path to the nearby forest is short, and walking paths invite you directly from the house to excursions in the beautiful nature of Chiemgau. We especially loved the panoramic round to Bergener Moos. Despite the quiet location, cafés, restaurants, and shopping facilities are easily reachable on foot. We felt very comfortable here, would love to come back, and can recommend Bettis Bungalow without reservation!

Also well suited for wheelchair users
We spent 2 wonderful and relaxing weeks in and around Bergen. The flat is lovingly furnished and very well maintained. As we travel with a wheelchair user, we were always anxious to find out whether the flat was really barrier-free. We were not disappointed. The ramp for the entrance steps was already in place when we arrived. Everything was at ground level, wonderfully spacious and easy to navigate, even the terrace was easy to reach.
Mrs Sigl was a very attentive and nice host.
Thank you for letting us eat our fill of delicious johnnisberries.
We felt very comfortable! Maybe we will see each other again! Thank you

Great holiday home and a great hostess
Betti's Bungalow is a truly dreamy holiday home with a really nice landlady. In the past, we have already visited many holiday homes, but we have never felt so well taken care of anywhere else and have never been received so friendly. The house is lovingly furnished and lacks nothing. The surroundings are great and invite you to do many activities. We thank Mrs. Sigl for the beautiful vacation days and hope that we can come back next year. G. and D. Knost.

Great house in a very quiet location
Hello Mrs Sigl, thank you very much for the wonderful holiday in your super clean and cosy house. The garden was a dream for our Kia and the location with the dog is simply fantastic. Great house with beautiful garden also for the dog
The house was just as beautiful as in the pictures and very lovingly designed by Mrs Sigl. Even a bottle of sparkling wine and an Easter nest were waiting for us. We liked the place very much, especially the many possibilities to go out with the dog. Thanks to the many excursion destinations that Mrs Sigl had sent us in advance, we spent an eventful week. We can highly recommend the house.
