Salzhaff and the natural beach are 1.2 km away. Boiensdorf is 1.2 km from the Salzhaff, between the island of Poel (10 km) and the Baltic seaside resort of Rerik (10 km)
On the Boiensdorfer Werder you will find small sandy bays. Children can swim safely because the lagoon is very shallow. Kiters and surfers can practise their sports here. You can also learn these sports on the lagoon. Nature is beautiful (partly a nature reserve) and birdwatchers will feel very much at home here. Shopping facilities are available in Wismar (16 km) and Neubukow (10 km). A bakery is located in Stove (1 km)
